I was never scared of loving. I am scared of loving and being fooled that the one I love, loves me back.

I am scared of baring my body, my soul and my heart to someone just for them to laugh when I'm not around with the thought of how ugly and foolish I was.

I am scared of finding the happiness I thought I deserved from someone who saw me as less than dirt.

I am scared of being the only one vulnerable and later on finding out that, that vulnerability was the butt of the joke amongst close friends.

I am not scared of Love. I love love far too much for that. I'm scared of people who can hold my love and wish harm upon it.

You don't know how many times I've lost sleep because of how much I overthink about silly things like "am i good enough?" "Is he getting tired of me?" "Do i need to change myself because he told me yesterday that i have the ugliest laugh?"
