Hi! How are you today? I wrote these overnight, tell me which one is your favorite :)

soulmate au where you can’t hear anything but your voice and your soulmate’s. some people can’t find their soulmate because they’re deaf or mute.

soulmate au where a constellation appears progressively on your body the more you interact with your soulmate.

soulmate au where you know a line from your soulmate’s favorite book / tv show / movie, but you don’t know where it’s from until you meet your soulmate.

soulmate au where your soulmate’s last touch appear on your body. you don’t know who’s your soulmate until they're gone.

soulmate au where you can’t talk until you meet your soulmate. some kids are already talking and some elderly people can’t talk.

soulmate au where you and your soulmate can finish each other’s sentences. two best friend realize they’ve been doing this for the past few months, two complete strangers meet and finish each other’s sentences.

soulmate au where you have central heterochromia. the inside of the iris is your soulmate’s eye color and the outside is your eye color.

soulmate au where you and your soulmate share a feature. it can be a mole on your ringer finger, a big scar on your leg or a birthmark on your neck. it doesn’t appear at the same time and can be related to anything.

soulmate au where you’re able to read your soulmate’s thoughts only if they’re within a 5 miles or kilometers radius.

soulmate au where there’s a red string wrapped around your ring finger. it is connected to your soulmate’s ring finger but whatever you do, you can’t reach your soulmate by following it (it fades away and reappears when you touch your soulmate’s hand).

Another bit that I wanted to add to The Highest Bidder, but I’ll put this out here!

Some details are vague because I want it to be revealed in the story!

Send me a prompt and a character!

Your baby is asleep, finally soothed after your husband’s display of rage. You make sure the baby monitor is on (it’s always on, but just a precaution) before venturing around the house to find him.

He’s sitting outside by the fire pit, but he didn’t ignite it. It’s January; he must be freezing.

Running to the living room, you swipe up one of the fluffy throw blankets and run back to the door leading to the backyard. You don’t speak as you throw the fleece sheet around his shoulders. He’s not visibly shivering, but you can hear the harsh, choppy breaths he inhales. It’s almost as if he punished himself by staying out here.

“Come inside,” you beg, taking his icy hands and pulling him towards the door that’s still open. “Ransom, please, you’ll get sick.”

It’s enough to make you cry, seeing him like this. He’s shut down and you’re worried nothing can get to him.

“Please, darling, please come with me. It’s so cold out here.” Your teeth are beginning to chatter.

He looks up at you, nose and cheeks rosy. His limbs become compliant, but they’re stiff from how cold he is. He stumbles after you as you pull him into the house, immediately enveloped by the warmth of the heater.

You make two servings of hot cocoa, his favorite warm drink of choice. He sips, but you wait for your mug to cool a little, running upstairs to check on the snoozing baby in the crib. All is well, but you adjust their position just slightly before returning to the kitchen.

You both sip in silence, watching his muscles relax as he warms again.

The short strands of his hair at the nape of his neck are cool to the touch, drawing heat from your palm. You scratch soothingly and wait patiently. It’s come to a point where you can’t need to prompt him anymore. He’ll share when he’s ready.

When he speaks, it’s another count of Walt being an asshole.

You see red, prepared to drive down to his house, and give you a piece of your mind. But, your husband needs your attention now.

You sigh, understanding his pain and frustration, but knowing there needs to be something done further about this.

“I think you should see someone.” “What do you mean?”

His voice is clogged. He’ll have a fever in the next few hours, you’re sure.

“A therapist. Someone to help you navigate these emotions.” “I’m not crazy,” he protests. “I don’t want to see a therapist.” “Seeing a therapist doesn’t mean you’re crazy. It means you’re at a roadblock and they’ll help you get around it. You’ve been at one for a long time.” You continue stroking his hair and keep your voice gentle. “Ever since I’ve met you, there’s always been something about you...something sad and angry. It’s something that was opened long ago and it’s never healed, not even with me or our puppy or our baby. And that’s not to say I don’t want to help you, but I don’t know how to help you through this.”

He looks like he’s considering your words.

“Please, just think about it. I’ll even come with you to the appointment. I can’t sit in there with you, but I’ll be in the waiting room during the session.” “I’ll go,” he says, his voice barely audible. “You will?” “I'd do anything to be the person you love again.”

You sigh sadly, arms coming around his neck to bring him closer. You press as many kisses to his cheek as you can, some tears falling out of your eyes.

“I never stopped loving you,” you promise. “And I never will.”

Five More Minutes

A/N: Banter, fluff, and the morning after... my favorite. <3 Enjoy!

Summary: A and B, a romance that has gone from enemies to friends, and now to lovers, have just woken up after their first night together.

Warnings/content: Insinuations of sex, kissing

Word count: 500 words

I awoke to the soft snores of A vibrating into my chest and immediately smiled the most genuine smile I've smiled in a while. It took me a few moments to register what we were doing, naked and tangled up together, our clothes messily sprawled out on the floor. Once I realized, there was no doubt in my mind that this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. No amount of time with him would ever be enough for me to get used to. After years of me pining and yearning for him in silence, we finally submitted ourselves to each other shamelessly. And it was glorious.

My happy thoughts that morning were interrupted by a sudden prolonged intake of breath - he was awake. I watched him wake up, waiting so desperately for the moment our eyes would meet mine, and I'd be fulfilled again. But, to my surprise, before he even opened his eyes, he felt for my face and pulled me into a long kiss. Everything about him was perfect to me. He didn't even have morning breath. I was utterly enthralled by him, and I loved it.

"Good morning to you, too." I chuckled quietly as he flipped us over, so I was now listening to his heartbeat instead.

"Just had to make sure you were real and not a dream." He whispered groggily, stretching his legs a bit and once again letting me wrap myself around him.

"Are you saying you've dreamt of me?" A smirk played against my lips, adjusting myself so I could look up into his eyes.

"One too many times, B. My subconscious must be exhausted of you." He laughed, and it sounded almost like a melody. We stayed in bed, silent for a bit longer before one of us mustered the courage to refuse more time together.

"A, as much as I would love nothing more than to stay in bed with you, we have work." I said sadly, tracing circles on A's arm.

"We can be late." A said, holding me in such a way that I had no other choice but to stay with him, even if only for a while longer. Of course, I looked at him with disapproval, but it was difficult to be disappointed in him. "Oh, come on, just five more minutes... or an hour?"

"What's the difference?" I asked playfully. But I could almost see the smile on his face dissipate when I said this, realizing what he was thinking. "I'm not going anywhere, A." He smiled at my reassurance, and I could tell my words were helping him. "You're stuck with me."

"If that's the case," He muttered, shifting under me a bit so I could comfortably place my head between his neck, "you're on breakfast duty."

"Anything's better than your cooking." I said, starting to squirm out of his arms, but not to my surprise, he pulled me back, uttering "five more minutes" under his breath.
