Inkmas Day 8: Diamine Blue Edition Jack Frost Shimmer & Sheen
Next up on my audition list was to find a good blue. Blue works exceptionally well for my holiday cards because my family is Jewish and my husband’s family celebrates Christmas, meaning it works as a somewhat neutral but still winter-ish, holiday-ish color.
This year I was fascinated by the idea of Diamine Blue Edition Jack Frost Shimmer & Sheen (50mL for $22). Talk about an ink that has it…
it's a really delicious magenta colorrrr um i was doodling this while the vga stream was going (my friends were paying attention) and when i finished it i looked at the ink name and laughed
it feels nice with the glass dip pen ( ꈍヮꈍ) like just a smooth good drawing experience!
yessss progress on the fringilla ink project.......i finally narrowed it down and choose her 3 inks! i'm ordering hers and ciri's together though, so i have to decide on the third ciri ink before i place the order
Happy Halloween! Here's Simon and Baz as Calcifer and Howl~
These books give us so many ways to fill a prompt like "fire". I really wanted to finish Inktober off with a bang by doing a comic page, but dwindling energy and a big work deadline made that impossible. So here's a silly Halloween thing instead, 😊
Thank you all for supporting me throughout this wild month! Can't believe this is my 5th year of Inktober! It's a draining process, yet fulfilling, too. Even though I often don't have the energy to respond to comments, please know they're so very appreciated, 🥹🖤🖤🖤
Since this reminded me of the night sky, I present to you crumbs of a Moth! Rook 💀 I love all Rooks, guys… he can pull off anything FR
Was gifted a TWSBI Eco and Diamine ink from my sister and I was so hyped to try it out! Sorry for formatting this like the instagram art girlie I was but I think I may have gotten into another niche stationery hobby 😭😭 …I really want scented inks now…
I'm very pleased with how the coptic stitch looks with embroidery thread to create that gradient look! I'll definitely be doing that again! Funny how much easier this stitch seems now compared to my first time doing it. The turquoise fore-edge is Diamine tropical shimmer ink, which I would like to try again on sanded edges to see how sparkly I can get it.
