An Estate Cleared

Another Session cleared for the personnel of the Frostbite Contingent and Bloodcrest Family; catching up on two events separated by large server events and time. The Bloodcrest Family, lead by Ammaelin Bloodcrest seeking to redeem their name politically and ethically due to the evil doings of his now disowned brother, Dinthoqaf the Defiler, has been attacked by the Sanctum of the Forbidden due to its associations with the Frostbite Contingent. In an effort to destabilize the House further and to make sure support was pulled, a plethora of SotF Cultists lead by Lattimer the Devourer assaulted the compound and nearly wiped the House off the slate if it had not been for the timely arrival of the Contingent.  Initially leading the charge, Attzi ( @attzi-gearburst ), Kappi, ( @advancedscoutkappi ), Zokkine ( @piximae​ ), and Naturasu, came to the rescue of the estate and inhabitants as Ammaelin found himself going Head to Head against Lattimer. With quick work and precision, most of the estate was cleared but during the FBC’s confrontation and reinforcement of Ammaelin the cultists managed to secure one of the support structures that houses a particular treasure for the family, a font of power believed capable of healing miracles. Lattimer was defeated and forced to retreat, going to the captured structure where Elementium was magically summoned to taint the building and reinforce it, causing the FBC and Bloodcrests to call it here as they sought out solutions to the problem at hand. Time given way, the FBC and Ammaelin settled on the use of explosives to open the tower. With the decision made, a second gathering occurs with Ammaelin, Attzi, Zokkine, Kappi, Naturasu, Makosubi, and Dave ( @x-amanita-virosa-x ) where the building was blown open just to discover that the cultists within had already been killed and the Font within was being tainted by a Totem placed by them before their death. The team, in an effort to cleanse the place, enters only to discover Lattimer lying in wait amongst the dead, ambushing them! After a lengthy and dangerous melee with the The Devourer, he was defeated and the totem destroyed. Ammaelin now sets to discover the purpose of the act and everything the totem was doing while trying to make sure the Font is cleansed and can provide its healing waters for any pilgrims who come seeking it. The FBC now awaits anxiously to see if this news brings them any closer in rescuing their boss. I enjoy pc gaming, and a little bit of mobile. I don't do shooters much anymore, 1 my reflexes aren't really up to it, 2 most of jerks and cheaters live in that genre. And I find co-op to be more enjoyable, but can't find anyone nice to play with anymore. Mmorpg's was last time I got to play in a guild type environment, until they all jumped on the PvP hype-train, with the rest of the cashshoppers. So my gaming is more exploring, survival, adventure, open world. Lately I've been playing modded Subnautica (while I wait for Below Zero to go on sale), and modded Minecraft. I've also enjoyed Ark, Space Engineers (bit of love/hate with that game), Battletech, Skyrim SE. I've been eyeing Mechwarrior 5 Mercenaries, but that seems to be better co-op than single player, which is a bit of a problem for me with not having anyone. I enjoy tabletop games as well, specifically DiceMasters. But that ends up being a 1-3 times a year that others are interested in playing. I just don't fit any gaming norms, and generally people give games more respect than the people playing them. It's about impossible to find someone respectful and not super competitive, competitive people just suck the fun out of gaming for me. Frustrating...

Content Focus: Roleplay

Usual Activity: We're currently setting into a two-stage event pattern where one week we try to have primarily social events (Such as Server Events/Markets, Social Gatherings In-game, a guild movie night [complete with a movie list that's constantly being added to!] or old school dungeon/raid runs for achieves or transmogs.) or Combat-related scenarios and events the following week, allowing for a set pattern for people to know or to try to expect what sort of events will work best for their desires. 

Most of these events fall within the ranges of Sunday through Thursday.

Details: The Frostbite Contingent is a detail oriented RP guild that focuses on Engineers, Crafters, Security Professionals & Public Relations personnel who are trying to be some of the best Weapon Creators and Dealers seen in Azeroth. While most of their work is intended to circle around these professions, it never fails that something happens to hamper their efforts and to force them to take action to defend themselves or to take action to acquire needed goods in-between their various market attendances to make profit. (We even have two catalogs for members to add their hard created products to should they wish to have them sold at Server Market events!)

We'll also be launching a DM20 (Dicemaster Oriented D20 System) Campaign that will feature a full fledged Risk-Like (Similar to the board game!) adventure against a nefarious cult that keeps trying to corrupt and destroy our members. Some of these events will play host to a variety of horror based themes while members try to keep their wits and lives intact.
