There was a post I saw about someone who mutually ghosted a guy after a date and kept matching with him and they're not interested but it's the longest "relationship" the person had been in at that point and I'm like. Karen would mutually ghost someone.

She doesn't really tell Brent/Right/Evelyn/Chris his name (he has a double first name, Patrick is not his last name) and just refers to him as "My Guy". Like "Ah damn, My Guy matched again. End my suffering." And when she tries to explain it to Right who does NOT understand how it's different, her logical answer is "it's my God given right to ghost a polite man!"

Also I just imagine her confiding in Paul about Rick and he's like "is his name Patrick" and she's like "kinda". And after that, Paul calls him "Pattycakes" cause he's never even seen the guy so why not give him a funny little nickname. He's allowed to do so at this point probably.

i absolutely do not vibe at all with any red hood steph concept ive ever seen because fucking nobody engages with it in any depth its just 🤔🤔 steph is basically the same as jason right? people who dont like jason online say so so it must be true~

like i need you first of all to walk back several steps and understand two major things about utrh and stephanie brown here. the first is that steph got into crime fighting in the first place bc she wanted to ~spoil~ the crimes of her c-list supervillain father. the second is that the core of the tragedy of the red hood is that batman is supposed to be his fucking dad.

so if you do want to do a red hood stephie concept here which. to be clear is not something i am INHERENTLY opposed to. you have a couple options to make it potentially coherent but you need to actually be deliberate and clear about what youre trying to do with that concept. you need to step away from jasons tragedy and look at hers and figure out where exactly her anger and hurt are coming from and who exactly theyre directed at, as well as what specifically in your au concept it would be so different than the canon one where when she comes back she wants to do pretty much the opposite of what jason wanted when *he* came back.

and. crucially. if the difference is the relationship she has to bruce being different you actually do need to show not tell that dude. im sorry but if you just *tell* me that in your universe that steph has a more deep and meaningful relationship to bruce i 100% always am like "ill believe it when i fucking see it". like, she has parents of her own and while that doesnt preclude having a more signficant relationship with bruce (see: timmy)... you really do have to do the legwork or it looks like youre just writing them out and asking us to take your word for it that Of Course steph wants bruce to adopt her, hes batman! gag, retch, spew. do notdo this.

FRANKLY in a reverse robins concept i vibe way more with steph as red robin than anything specifically her getting the dumpster costume from whoever you do put in the red hood role. (frankly x2 i still think if they really truly had to do the storyline they did in canon where shes still trying to do bruces dirty work for him and hires assassins to kill tim to ~make him better~ lmao she should have been the one who wore the Bad Robin uniform before tim got it instead of fuckin ulysses i just think it would have been more coherent and also funner for me personally)

Buddy started to swear a lot early on bc he was an angry mess and lowkey an asshole and also Shiro propably tried to swear as little as possible most of the time, and now hes NOT Shiro anymore, so who cares? Theyre all gonna die bc of hunger or dehydration or get killed by hostile fauna soon anyway so what's the point

Tashi tries his best to not cuss and to discourage others from doing it, not really bc hes all that morally appalled by it but bc in most normal situations You Shouldnt Swear Around Children and hes trying very very hard to keep up a charade of normalcy(hes constantly swearing in his head tho. Screams FUCKING HELL internally every five seconds). eventually(after about 2 years) he gives up and stops giving a shit. His constant nagging DID work a little bit tho and buddy eventually starts to swear less and also substitute the cuss words with the more kid friendly versions(they make sure to look extremely displeased the whole time though)

Soup and stickbug know so many swears in multiple alien languages its insane. Soup doesnt speak much but stickbug uses swearing as a means to calm down when hes alone(imagine him screaming into a pillow). when he was younger he was always careful to only swear when the adults(mostly tashi) werent around, and for a good year whenever taks or taka would tattle on his cussing, tashi would wave it off bc stickbug doesnt swear!! hes too much of a good nice kid to do that!!!!! hes just a shy little guy:)(<- in reality he is trying his best to appear harmless and obedient in front of The Authority Figure bc thats his survival strategy.). eventually after a few long months he calms down and gets comfortable enough to gradually drop the act and starts swearing more often(still tries to limit it tho). dw tho in his 20s he starts to cuss profusely to make up for that

taks and taka both didnt know many swears at the beginning but they quickly started to pick up new ones(mostly bc of bud)(and stickbug. but tashi didnt believe taka when he admitted that he was the one who thaught him 'fuck' and thought he was covering for taks lmao). as kids do, they LOVE swearing, do it every chance they get. later taka mostly stops swearing aside from slip ups and hanging around w/ his siblings, but taks? she cusses every chance she gets and tashi can do nothing about it(and believe me, he tried).

eenek knows galran swear words and tried to learn earth ones back in the day from stick..... it ended with stick lying to them and making them think random english words are cusses to fuck with them. they dont realise whats going on until after having spent years muttering shit like 'hydrazine thrusters' and 'screwdriver' under their breath whenever they stubbed a toe<3

I truly think some people in the internet need to log out and talk to an actual real human person irl. I think Twitter in particular has permanently damaged people's brains because I started noticing more and more people acting like they are in a ratioed hit tweet outside Twitter. I even started to see that when I spend too much time scrolling through Twitter, I myself start to formulate my messages in a more provocative manner like I have the intention to hurt someone's feelings to get a reaction. And surprise-surprise! It's not cool, guys! Not just in relation to other people but it's toxic to yourself, first a foremost.

Do yourself a favor: do outside, take a walk, talk to actual people, hang out with friends. Delete Twitter at least temporarily to detox. Literally touch grass.
