⚠️MWIII CAMPAIGN THEORY⚠️
read this with the dead sea amount of salt.
OKAY SO, today me and @cssndra-cain were discussing the video Inkslasher had posted just a couple of hours ago, and in it he said something that made us holt every single thought we had for the MWIII campaign so far.
firstly lets talk about the gameplay trailer, in it we see; a group of soldiers stealthily infiltrate a prison; gulag if you will (I’m pretty sure it is THE gulag but take it as you will), and during the mission we hear several voices and one of them we can recognize as Gaz, and someone else that sounded like Soap maybe? from the BRAVO team that was landing with parachutes. and maybe a new character that could be Roach? (we could only hope). also there were American accents as well. knowing the history this is a stretch but there was someone (maybe I was tripping because I'm in Warren Kole fever but) who sounded like Graves. I could 100% be wrong and i'll take it like a champ don't worry. But! @cssndra-cain brought to my attention that, during the whole mission, we don’t hear Price ONCE.
put your tinfoil hat on
it’s a bit strange isn’t it? we go on this big ass, stealth mission like that, without hearing Price once? we know Price LOVES to do these kind of missions first hand, he's not the type to sit still back in HQ and give orders. Something is not adding up...
now back to Inkslasher’s video, just bare with me a little. don’t worry I'm getting to my theory soon. he was talking about the intro mission gameplay we saw yesterday at gamescom ONL. and in video he says that the "rescue" team that we, as players, are not 141, but an elite PMC that is holding a nighttime raid at Koni held prison. People who participated in the unknown caller easter egg couple of weeks ago, received another text yesterday stating this;
Tumblr media
he was thinking, maybe it's not 141 but shadow company because of the "PMC" in the text. it could be shadow company but, we've learned that they are not the best at doing their job properly and how incompetent they can be. (we've seen how Shadow Siege event went.. yikes)
but what I think is will be at the end, continue reading if you want to know ;)
since it is a Koni base, and a prison, that means it is not Makarov (who is the leader) that is held in the prison. why would he be held in his own prison? and why would we go to rescue him? it does look like a rescue mission because, it's a Koni base and prison, we see the player killing Koni soldiers and they speak Russian. they are definitely the enemy.
here comes the twist, who is being held in that prison, and the elite PMC trying to “rescue”, is none other than our beloved captain John Price. Hence the mission name being Operation 627. now if you didn’t know this before, 627 is John Price’s prisoner number, from when he was held captive in the gulag during OG MW2.
Tumblr media
Screenshot taken from the wiki.
also Barry, being the sneaky bastard he is, posted this in his story yesterday :)
Tumblr media
i hate him (affectionately)
now based on everything above, it got me thinking REAL hard. Just to be clear, this is just my theory, nothing solid or confirmed, a mere THEORY, that resulted after taking in all the info we got today and yesterday and talking with @cssndra-cain.
in MWIII we will be playing as 141, that is 100%. But it will be half flashback and half present time. Now how did Price get captured to begin with? That is, what I believe, what we will be discovering during the campaign. And we will be playing it until Price is captured and saved. Then from there on we will continue the hunt for Makarov with Price back as our captain.
and the rescue team in the Operation 627, are indeed 141, but they are collaborating with shadow company or maybe they made their own PMC, who the fuck knows. all I know is that, I hear Soap, Gaz and Graves. it's a mess of a theory but it's something.
there is a lot of shit going on in my mind, and this is what I barely managed to write down cause I can't find the words. If my vocabulary wasn’t so fucked up because of my adhd I’m sure I would’ve written a longer well put theory.
NOW, if I am wrong, I will swallow my words 100% and wear a clown wig for a week playing this campaign. ultimately there's no harm done tbh.
BUT! If you choose to believe this theory, then it’s your own fault lol. Don’t get your hopes up, because this is not a leak or from Activision themselves.
this is me to Mari trying to explain my theory to her lol

supernatural s14e10 nihilism (w. steve yockey)
was thinking about this yesterday, how crowley popped in to cas when lucifer had him locked up, and how they might try to manage something like that for dean
is that pam?? ugh i really liked her. wish she could have stuck around. weird how hrm. having feelings about this idea that sam and dean could even have something like this bar. like, an established place for them that wasn't underground in this weird sterile bougie bunker, but something that actually fits them. be up and around people, even if they're still hunting. so is this supposed to be like the djinn format, where it's taking his dream and trapping him?
DEAN How come you always have a boyfriend? PAMELA How come you only want what you can't have? DEAN Whoa. PAMELA Besides, you don't want me. You just like to flirt. I'm a psychic, so I kinda know.
cute and legit
the unfortunate monster teeth on this vampire made it so it's very obviously adr'd in when he's talking. maybe go back to just the occasional flashing of fangs with cg, guys 🥴
SAM Billie -- uh, uh, Death assigned a reaper to keep an eye on Dean and me. Her name is Jessica, and she is always -- WOMAN Hello. SAM Where's Jessica? WOMAN Well, my name's Violet. It's my shift. We have shifts now, because you mess up so, so many things.
cute and legit x2
SAM Okay, look, sorry, but we're stuck, okay? And Death owes us one after we fixed that whole Rowena thing. You know about that, right? VIOLET Oh, yes, the Rowena thing you started.
not sure i know about it though (have to consult the wiki) :S oh god, right. when rowena was trying to get crowley back. the great characterization flip flops of crowley, rowena and ketch
SAM Okay, listen. Back when Gadreel possessed me, he -- he created, uh, I don't know, like a -- like a fake world inside my head. But Crowley was able to force his way in, he showed me how to take control, and I drove the angel out.
oh, wait. did crowley do that twice? apparently so. i very distinctly remembered cas watching tv while crowley was trying to get him to cooperate lol. forgot he got in there for gadreel too
Tumblr media
MICHAEL Yes, uh, put a chair against the door. That'll help. Nothing's changed. Either my monsters get here, or I break these chains. But tonight...everybody dies. And, Sam? The last thing you'll see is this pretty smile...as I rip you apart.
he's giving me keanu vibes again with his speaking voice/cadence as michael
SAM It's the, uh, messed up British Men of Letters thing they used to get inside people's heads. I figure if I can get in, maybe I can wake Dean up, get him to fight, you know, to force Michael out.
we're just gonna bring up a million things i have basically zero recollection of. ah yes, the thing that enabled the conversation with brainwashed-mary where dean told her that he had to be sam's mother, father, and brother. the conversation, i remember. context? nada
well i was asking where all the apocalypse world people and there they are. not sure why they're putting maggie at point of this operation but okay. we don't know anyone else and jim beaver isn't in this episode? lol
michael's daddy issues putting everyone's to shame. burn the multiverse to the ground
Tumblr media
CASTIEL So much trauma in Dean's mind. So many scars. SAM Well, yeah. Dean's been through a lot, but he's strong. CASTIEL Sam...you've both been through a lot, and Dean is more than strong. What I meant was, if I knew...if I knew what I was looking for, I could just -- I could simply go to it. But because Michael has Dean trapped away, drowning, I have to wade through all of Dean's most terrible memories. SAM Cass, wait a second. Would Michael bury Dean in trauma? CASTIEL What do you mean? SAM I mean, Michael said it himself. The reason he left Dean in the first place was because Dean was fighting back so hard. CASTIEL So, if Michael wanted to keep Dean placated... SAM Dean thrives on trauma. I mean, he's had to his whole life, right? It keeps him alert, keeps him ready, but if I wanted to distract Dean, I-I... I'd give him something he's never had before. CASTIEL Contentment.
haha 🥲
this browsing through dean's traumatic and good memories, someone very nicely has them identified to episodes on the wiki
MICHAEL You don't mean that, Dean, not really. You may lie to them, but, deep down, I know you. I am you. You only tolerate the angel because you think you owe him, because he "gripped you tight and raised you from Perdition." Or whatever. But since then, what has he done? Only made mistakes, one after the other.
he kind of mocked cas's voice there and it's funny to me how he couldn't really pull it off in the way like.. if pellegrino did that line, totally would have worked. but to me, jackles's michael it just wasn't really hitting the right note :p
MICHEL And, Sam -- oh, Sam... You know, Dean was his happiest when you quit hunting, leaving him with your dad, just the two of them. See, deep down, he knows that you will always abandon him, again and again.
feels like it's been a long time since we thought about dean's insecurity over sam leaving. maybe like when sam found out about gadreel? i dunno. anyway. obviously just trying to get a rise out of him but i think these days they're pretty secure with each other in that respect.
glad they clarified via lecture from cas that jack used the soul magic to invoke the angel powers to zap the monsters because i didn't get that
Tumblr media
locking michael in the fridge in your mind is going well i see
Tumblr media
well of all the rehabbed characters, i'm glad for billie. since her hatred of them never really made much sense anyway
DEAN Rescuing Mom and Jack, helping out those other folks -- I'd say it was worth it. BILLIE And just look at you now. Do you remember visiting my reading room? The shelves and shelves of notebooks describing the ways you might die? DEAN Yeah. Upbeat classics. BILLIE Well, it's the funniest thing, but they've all been rewritten. They all end the same way now -- with the archangel Michael escaping your mind and using you as his vessel to burn down this world. DEAN All of them? BILLIE All of them. Except one.
is it a picture of rebar. is it some suicidal bullshit? hmm. get stabbed by lucifer wielding the archangel blade?

I am very excited that my embroidery commission is completely done!! All I have to do now is sew a patch on. To cover up the threads on the back. But the embroidery itself and the washing away of the paper is done and I'm thrilled.
And today was a pretty good day. My lip hurt a lot again. It got really scabby overnight and when I woke up it hurt a lot. So it was pretty inflamed. And try as I might to not touch it with my tongue all the time I can't leave it alone. Which I'm sure isn't helping. But I tried my best and left here feeling okay.
There was a bunch of traffic out in the world but I still got to the museum on time. There were two people milling around in the parking lot waiting to go into the building. And the door was already unlocked so I went in and said good morning to James. And then went to get ready.
I feel like I hadn't seen anyone in forever. So I was super excited to see them. I was happy to see Estelle and Joel and Merrill made a big deal about us being there. I ended up bringing up to Mike about how I couldn't find the sources for the pressure cooker and he was able to find the patent number and send it to me. And that was perfect. So I'm really glad I got to come in and talk to somebody. I feel like I did that project like two weeks ago and I haven't been in that long. And it was just really nice to see everyone.
I had a really easy day. All I was there for was to watch Michael to make sure he was okay. And he was totally fine. I had a few notes for him but nothing that he can't incorporate. I ended up helping one of the new people, Emma, who is very sweet. But was clearly a little flustered. Was their first time doing D by themselves. And I think they did good but maybe could benefit from being watched one more time.
I texted Jessica to let her know that and wiki both agreed on a couple notes that I had about how she was trained and things that I thought might have been lost in communication. But the kids that we had today were pretty nice. Though the first group was super on the ball and really understood everything. Joel's group in the second group was apparently running super behind in the teacher kept taking the entire class for bathroom breaks during the first program so they were losing like 15 minutes at a time. To the point where we didn't even start the program until 15 minutes after we were supposed to start it. So everything felt very truncated. And it was a little nerve-wracking because when two people are learning having the timing be all wrong was not helpful. But we did our best. And everyone got to do everything that they were supposed to. Even if the timing was weird.
I mostly just had fun talking to my friends. I was in a really good mood. I was happy to be there. I was feeling good. After how sore I was yesterday I was a little concerned. Besides my mouth hurting everything else was great.
After the kids left I went upstairs to do oysters. And I ended up showing Emma how to do them as well. They took to it no problem. But then all of a sudden over the intercom we hear James directing which school to leave first. Because apparently it took forever to get the schools out of the building because they were all leaving at the same time. And they were all trying to beat the other group out so there was just like a mess of a traffic jam at the door. I'm glad I wasn't a part of it because it sounds very stressful.
So I just put on music for everybody and we sat and did all the oysters. And just about 2:00 we started heading out.
James had come up to ask if they could borrow a fork from my backpack and I made them give me a hug and I'm glad they did because when I went to the desk to say goodbye they weren't there. Instead Merrill was there watching it for them while they were in a meeting. And I did the same thing I always do where I allowed the exclaim hey you're not my husband! And Merrill goes what I'm not!? And it's very silly. But we ended up talking for a few minutes and I helped her out with some weird thing that happened in a sale for the gift shop. And then Emma was there and I noticed she was looking at the tracker for the bus and I was like hey what's up. And they said that they were waiting for the bus but it's the banner route and it runs very infrequently. I was like where do you live. Mount Vernon. Perfect I can take you home if you don't mind if we stop at the dollar store first. They were very excited.
And we end up having just like a really lovely talk the entire time. I told them stories about James's accident and my accident and they told me their accident stories. They moved here from California. They seem really nice. We went to the dollar store and I got something for James and then I dropped them off at their house. Turns out they are right by where we got married and they can see into the garden and they may have watched us get married! If they did that would have been so funny! The world is so small sometimes.
I went home after that. And when I got back here I got right into my sewing. I really wanted to finish. I was almost done by the time James got home. And within that hour I would be finished.
James had made a couple pit stops on the way home. To get cheese to make us a pizza. And to go find me Dr pepper. They ended up finding the strawberry one which I haven't seen since that first time I got it. So that was cool. And while they were making that we worked on cleaning the apartment a little bit. James worked on the floors and I did some picking up around the place and tidying. And then we had dinner and it was really good.
I left the sash on my drying rack and it looks great. Tomorrow at camp I'm going to grab some fabric from the scrap boxes that I have because I think I have something similar in texture if not color there. And I'll work on that in the transition times during my programs. It's the Native American program so hopefully I'll have a lot of down time. That's always the ideal.
And then I got to work going over our packing stuff. Like I said the other day I was asleep well James was packing their back so I didn't really know it was in there and I asked if they were okay with me going through it and they said they trust me so I unpacked their whole bag. And I repacked it in a way that I thought was more balance. They were missing a few things that I pointed out so hopefully next week when we get everything ready on Monday and Tuesday everything will be completely done. And once I was done doing theirs I also re-did the inside of my suitcase. Mostly because I felt like my shoe options were still messed up. And I ended up taking out the one pair of clogs but leaving the sandals because they have much better arch support and I thought that they would be nice if my feet hurt. James and Jess both thought that was the best idea. And I was able to move all of my tank tops into my clothing side of my suitcase and just use one small bag to put all of my leggings in. I have one long pair and two short pair. Plus the pair I'm going to be wearing on the airplane.
I also went over my list again of the things that I still need to pack and I have plenty of room for them plus souvenirs and things. Ideally I want neither of my two bags to be full. I did leave space for my extra sweater and I'm going to be wearing a sweatshirt and a jacket and a fleece to the airport so that I don't have to worry about them being very big in my bag. And I can fold one up and use a pillowcase or maybe a stuff sack to use it as a pillow. I have an exactly decided on that yet. I also am not sure if I'm bringing my travel neck pillow or if I'm going to bring just a regular stuffed animal. I'm not really positive. But regardless I am very excited that everything feels very settled now. 95% of everything we need is already packed.
I just hung out for a while after that. And eventually I decided to take a bath. Got kind of cold in here. Sleepy was out on the fire escape until well after 9:00. So I got very chilly. So the bath was nice and made me feel a lot better. James played D&D and now they're getting ready for bed as well.
Hopefully I can sleep very good tonight and tomorrow my group is great. They're supposed to be a very small group so I hope they're fun. I hope you all have a great night tonight and you sleep well. Have fun!!

if William isn't gonna do any studies on light remnant i amma do them myself-
these are just some silly, kinda stupid thoughts and ideas i am only messing around with since it's pretty fun hehe-
so, yesterday i was putting the bastard in situations for scientific purposes as i sometimes like to do.
i was thinking about how he would survive being dismembered only for the silly thought to evolve into "ok, but what if he could grow his members back on?" and without much thought i came to the conclusion that light remnant would give him regeneration abilities because it seemed really cool.
but then i started to question the silly idea. why? why exactly would light remnant poses this ability?
couldn't answer the question, so i changed it up a bit hoping i could find a pattern of sorts - why exactly does dark remnant have the ability to make one immortal?
so i went on the wiki page about the pretty glowing liquid to re-read it and boom-
physical manifestation of the spirits' emotions/pain, NOT fragments of the soul
this silly information, for some reason, made me think of a certain moment in a webtoon - Melvina's Therapy (spoilers for that, i guess)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
so basically, Melvina wanted to vaccinate herself against all fears. but how? by injecting pure fear into her bloodstream, of course! won't go in great detail about how she gets fear in its purest form, i'm just gonna say that there was only one fear she couldn't get her hands onto
Tumblr media
by getting rid of her fear of death, she hoped to achieve immortality (you could say Melvina and William are not so different after all, hehe-)
anyway- that's when it clicked, for some reason.
what emotion did all the kids feel right before they died? most probably (pure) fear of death. so-
if we take the information from the wiki (physical manifestation of the spirits' emotions - in this case, fear of death) and add Melvina's theory (theory which is completely unrelated to the blueycapsules comic, but shhh-) what do we get? immortality!
i like to think the remnant William discovered is the last vaccine Melvina needed hehe.
did this messy train of thoughts help me come with a more accurate ability the light remnant might poses?
no. not really-
at least not yet, so let's get into it hehe. it's gonna be an even messier mess-
we're stating the obvious from the beginning - unlike the kids who William killed voluntary for his bastard man reasons, Sunny was an accidental kill of his.
even so, she must have feared death too, right? well... yeah, obviously.
but what if there was a fear/emotion stronger than her fear of death at that moment? what then?
watch me unleash my true stupid nature with the silly things i am about to say-
hope (stretched this one a bit... lot-)
Sunny is a pretty optimistic character, and even when the odds were against her, she tried to stay positive. she hoped for the best... kinda.
can't use any more pictures, so here's some of her dialogue lines:
"now now, kids, don't cry!! everything will- everything will be alright!"
"oh, there's no need to even ask- guh- i'm just fine, i'm sure!!"
"don't worry about me kids! mommy will be just fine, and we'll be all together again soon, okay?"
these are clearly attempts to reassure the kids, but i also think she really meant it? i am sure she actually hoped for things to turn out ok, i am just not sure how strong this feeling of hope actually was - i am not sure if she was feeling pure hope, ya know?
regardless, let's say that what she was feeling was indeed pure hope. if we bring again Melvina's (unrelated to the blueycapsules comic) theory into this, i am not really sure how it will work. her vaccines are meant to use a fear against itself, but what about other emotions?
would it also work?
well, i don't see why not. i actually find it a pretty interesting concept to think about - how would getting rid of hope affect someone?
if Sunny's remnant was the physical manifestation of her hope, how would it work if injected? what effects would it have? what ability would one get? or, on the contrary, would it be more of a disability?
asdksksk i don't know- at least i have another thing to keep me up at night now hehe
moving on-
fear of being/dying alone
Tumblr media
so yeah- in the end, i guess we're talking about fear of death in her case as well. but there is this *alone* that won't give me peace-
i just can't seem to make any clear connections (or any sort of connections-) on this one right now-
---
anyway, here are also some other small details i noticed in the blueycapsules comic
Sunny was also cremated after her death. i don't have much on this, but u never know hehe- maybe it is an important detail, maybe it is not.
beside that, here's also this thingy
so, we know that William needs to burn parts of inhibited materials in order to get remnant. the source of the material does not seem to matter much as long as said material is inhabited by a spirit i guess, but what if the source of fire does matter? like-
in most cases (Charlie's arm and the animatronic parts) they are burned by a pre-existing (?) fire.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
in Sunny's case tho-
Tumblr media Tumblr media
she's also the source of the fire? asdkskakska don't know how to word this, but hopefully it makes sense-
not to mention that, in her case once again, this was pretty much an accident.
uhm, so yeah- well that was fun. good bye!

First off, before everyone comes after my butt with their "No Fun Allowed" and "Cringe" signs, this is in no way something to be taken as gospel or insightful. It's not a prophetic enforcement of canon. It's literally a theory done for fun, and to try to piece the Bendy Crack up Comics into the general and messy lore of the BatIM franchise.
Most of you get this and don't need a big wordy warning about fanon interpretation, but a lot of peculiar people tend to show up in my ask box hoping to start a fuss over my headcanons and AU ideas, so I thought to be nice and leave a polite and diplomatic "Kindly Fuck Off" sign at the door for them.
With that said, there will be mild spoilers, carry on of your own volition, down below under the cut that will definitely show up because Tumblr mobile is a functional app that's never given me trouble!!!
---
[[MORE]]
The Bendy Franchise has an established issue with cohesion in its lore. We all know what I'm talking about, we all have reservations about canonical character discrepancies (game vs novel vs guidebook) and we all have been racking our brains with a few holes in the timeline, as well as how BatDR (which is neither prequel nor sequel) will fit into this, since it's connected to BatDS and that's an established prequel to BatIM.
Granted I myself am missing a lot of pieces, having to scrounge around for info since I can't really get any of the reading material myself and rely heavily on @british-hero (who owns the novel plus got her copy of the comics yesterday), a very incomplete wikie, and analysis and theories from SuperHorrorBro's Bendy videos.
Heck, I also rely on a lot of gameplay footage, because BatIM has a bit of subtle storytelling through visual design of its levels, and hints of how certain characters work through a few game mechanics.
Through this mishmash of collecting puzzle pieces for the greater picture I even have a few notes on my phone to piece together certain events in established dates, something which comes very in handy for this theory since it talks about two particular characters, the Projectionist and Brute Boris (and I guess Twisted Alice to some extent but it's more of a note on some interesting thoughts I have of her).
Without further ado, here's what this theory is all about: Why did Norman become the Projectionist, and why did Twisted Alice turn Buddy Boris into Brute Boris?
If you think about it, there's only two creatures in the studio that really seem out of place in the world of BatIM, and that's Prophet Sammy and the Projectionist. Neither are inherently similar to any of the cartoon characters, nor are they considered to be Lost Ones. They're certainly not Searchers, but while we know Sammy is unique because his method of transformation was different, we never got an explanation for Norman's. It could be that it's a process similar to BatDR's new enemy type that's larger and seems to have bits and bobs stuck to it, but then those big guys seem like the equivalent to Swollen Searchers for the Lost Ones. The Projectionist doesn't really fit the puzzle.
Or at least he didn't.
With the introduction of the Crack up Comics collection, we get three new characters that were definitely designed in the same manner that the Butcher Gang was. Beginning with a corrupt monster forms and then giving way to perfect and pristine rubberhose toon forms.
I'm talking about Miss Twisted, the Brute, and Cameraman.
Tumblr media
The villainous trio from the Souper Boris comic strip.
To us it's obvious the artists created them in parallel to Twisted Alice, Brute Boris and the Projectionist, but to the actual canon this actually has a bit of an impact on the Projectionist's existence.
Why, you ask? Because those characters were introduced between 1936 and 1940.
Tumblr media
Bendy Crack up Comics table of contents, showcasing the publishing dates of the strips.
For anyone who doesn't know (either from not paying attention to the Joey Drew Studios channel audio logs, or from not owning the books) the Ink Machine wasn't conceptualized or installed until 1942/1943. Putting that into perspective, the only other thing that happened in Joey Drew Studios in 1940, was the conceptualization of Bendyland (which is likely the origin of the idea for the Ink Machine itself).
This means that Cameraman existed well before the Projectionist ever came to be, and that made me think about another thing: The Ink's apparent sentience.
I'll be frank, the Ink is very hard nut to crack. I consider it a form of alchemized entity, others consider it pure black magic, and I'm pretty sure Joey Drew himself had no idea what he was dealing with when he began using it. The fact of the matter is that the Ink is alive and that it has its own agenda. One that coincides with Joey's, out of mutual interest.
In the novels it seems to want to be free, but it can't exactly do that as a formless liquid, so it tries to body-snatch people (ex: Sammy and Buddy's grandpa).
When Joey tries to use it to give life to Bendy through nothing more than using the Ink and a template (likely a character model sheet) the Ink tries to follow the model but immediately becomes a distorted humanoid version of it (which honestly rings so many fucking alarm bells on its own). Things… Escalate there on out, with Joey trying to perfect the method and only managing to succeed through Daniel Lewek (and many other nameless Boris Clones), Allison Pendle and Thomas Connor.
An important thing to take from this, however, is that by trying to perfect this method Joey not only taught the Ink to reshape things into viable referenced material, but that he had to have lost control of just how many souls were being pumped through the Ink Machine for him to monitor and keep up.
Sammy started killing people when he completely turned, and it didn't seem to take long for him to cut down people in likely both the music and art departments. At this point he had no self-restraint and was completely wrapped around inky fingers and Joey's lies.
Norman is one such potential victim, and Dot and Buddy even passed by his ink-wrapped body while fleeing.
Now, the thing about trying to follow a specific guide and not having the actual means to make it exactly the same thing, is an easy enough notion to get (as shows like "Nailed It", and years of trying to perfect visual style mimicry, have taught me).
The Ink likely had the template it needed (maybe a printed copy of Souper Boris that got thrown around in the chaos), the insight of what Norman's role in the studio was, the amount of mass it needed to consume and transform his dead body, but not exactly the right sort of… Centerpiece for it...
Tumblr media
Cameraman using his lens to light up his path.
But what's a projector besides a bigger fancier camera? Both blink, both take film, same thing right? The ink doesn't see the difference and just stitches together this humanoid bootleg cameraman with the pieces it finds that are similar enough.
Mechanical blinky head? Check.
Strange round disc near the belly? There's a speaker. That's round! Check.
Film? There we go, a nice big round reel full of film in it, let's put it near the head, that's how it works right? Check.
Lastly, no Joey to actually direct this artistic recreation of a one-off character. The Ink did it all by itself while he was off getting his hand broken by a rightfully upset Buddy Boris.
If you look at it objectively it makes sense that being the projectionist tasked with not only recording and maintaining the projectors themselves, that the entity in the Ink would pick Cameraman as a template for Norman's transformed self.
It also makes sense that the Projectionist is so off-putting in the studio. He's almost perfect, but not quite because there just weren't the right materials. He's stuck in between Twisted Alice and the Butcher Gang clones as another failed recreation.
Moving on to the next question on why Twisted Alice turn Buddy Boris into Brute Boris, when she hadn't done the same to any of the other Boris Clones.
It's hard to say really, but I think it all comes down to who Twisted Alice really is. It's very likely that, as Susie Campbell, she would have knowledge of the comic strips. A few were most likely made into cartoon shorts even (which isn't an unusual assumption to make), and maybe Susie voiced a few background characters for said shorts.
Susie may have lost her role as Alice, but before Joey came to her with his proposition for the "special project" it's very likely that she remained in the studio, forced to do the voices of characters that weren't noteworthy or that she felt completely disconnected from (talking chairs and singing hens really don't become beloved fan-favourites) . Maybe if the Souper Boris story was made into a short, she might have voiced Miss Twisted (which honestly would be personally insulting considering she once had the role of the main heroine).
Point is, Susie knows her lore, and that translates to Twisted Alice's repertoire of insightful knowledge on the abominations lurking around the studio.
She never did turn other Boris clones into brutish lackeys because at the time she didn't need to. But it doesn't mean she hadn't considered it. Henry's disruptive behaviour is just what she needed to put that plan into motion.
There was already a "Cameraman" walking about, one that could easily rip apart anything it came across, so acquiring the means to recreate the "Brute" would have been benefiting from her point of view. The Projectionist doesn't take orders and can't be reasoned with, so if she could make something just as strong that took her orders she could, theoretically, be safe from most terrors in the studio. If that didn't work, she would still likely send others to their death by simply sending them down to Level 14, or maybe lure the Projectionist to them herself (just because he doesn't take orders doesn't mean she can't use him to achieve her end goals).

But why Buddy Boris specifically? Why couldn't she have used any of the bodies laying around? Freshness most likely. Rigor mortis is probably still a thing, even for living cartoons. Easier to work a fresh dead body than a bunch of stiff wolves.
That's at least why I think Brute Boris is a thing. Susie's knowledge of most Bendy cartoon/comic strip characters, taking inspiration from the Projectionist's presence, and honestly a very twisted sense of humor and irony. In her quest to become a Perfect Alice, the heroine of the show, she ended up becoming just as antagonistic (although more sadistic) as Miss Twisted, a Bendy comic strip villainess.
