Bandai Japan Announces Digimon Pendulum Color V-Pet V1, V2, & V3

Following the recent teaser of an upcoming Digimon, Bandai has officially announced the Digimon Pendulum Color in version 1, 2, and 3! To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Digimon Pendulum, Bandai is breathing new life into the popular v-pet with color releases.

There are nature spirits, deep savers, and nightmare soldiers on each respective version. The new color Pendulum’s feature color LCD screens, USB-C connectivity with rechargeable battery, background images can be changed, and it can even change on their own based on time. There are more un-lockable backgrounds, including connecting to the original Digimon Color.

The character lineup is actually inclusive of not only the original version 1, 2, and 3, but also the .5 releases. The Pendulum also features the icon shake to activate feature with acceleration detection, and single player battling as well.

Preorders are now available on Bandai Premium Japan with a release date of February 2024 in three shell colors.

Bandai also released a promotional video that brings back the two swimmers 25 years later. It’s an updated version of the original Pendulum commercial, and even features an updated song.

My LadyDevimon's not even a Mega, but I managed to beat the final boss of the colosseum of the Digimon Pendulum 20th with her! I'm so proud of my girl. And just in time for her bedtime, too. She can rest well. She's definitely earned it.

A new(?) Pendulum release...?

Well, this is interesting! It appears the official Bandai Japan Twitter has teased a new Digimon product. Judging by the shape of the device, I'm confident this is a Pendulum release of some sort, but whether or not this is a re-release, or new product, is uncertain at this time. Could it be a Pendulum Color release? Either way, it's exciting news for those who missed out on the Pendulum generation of Vpets. I'm personally hoping it's just a re-print of the old, extremely coveted Pendulum 20th models. Keep an eye out at Premium Bandai...

My D-3-Digivice arrived today! (or rather I had to pick it up because my courier messed up but whatever xD)

I had preordered that Baby last year already (I think November) so it has been a pretty long wait actually xD

It feels nice in the Hand and while it's not a VPet or a Quest-Toy, it's still great to interact with it! (Can't wait for the Adventure-Digivice to come out now, that combines this with the Quests)

Also I'm currently trying to run two V-Pets at the same time. At the Moment it's my Black and Red DMX on which I recently got Valdurmon! (I wanted to start with a different Line but messed up right at the Beginning by getting AgumonX instead of RenamonX and then due to to many Caremistakes I got Tobucatmon. So I went with Yatagaramon next and then aimed for Valdurmon.) Not sure, if I'll be able to get it to GallantmonX but we'll see xD

This is also my second attempt to Evolve Kaputerimon on the Pendulum Color. On my first Attempt I made to many Caremistakes and failed to Evolve in Time (overlooked, that I had to make a certain amount of Battles for that.)

I haven’t posted about Encyclopedia updates since September of last year but this one warranted a post since Greymon X (Blue) wasn’t a thing in Pendulum X despite Agumon X (Black), MetalGreymon X (Virus) and BlackWarGreymon X all being a thing by then.

This X-Antibody variant seems to be drawing from not only regular Greymon (Blue) but Greymon (Xros Wars) as well.
