New art tablet arrived early. I'm mega excited to get to work. He's a Huion Inspiroy Dial, and I'm calling him Richard; life's a dick, and my art is my way of taking whatever petty stabs I can back at life.

Roadmap for my webcomic
My plans for 2023 are to begin work on my webcomic, Alternis. I have the framework and story for the intro panels planned already. I also have started work on the characters. I know what most of them are gonna look like in my head already, i just need to work on developing their outfits and practice drawing them in general. There’s gonna be 5 main characters that we follow during the comic. I also need to practice drawing how i want to handle the backgrounds for the scenes. I have an idea for a style I want to develop for that as well.
Now, for the actual listed plan of attack:
1: Work on the characters. Develop them more, and practice drawing them into oblivion so that drawing them becomes second nature.
2: Develop the background art style. Terrain and realistic environments are new to me, but so are all the designs for the characters I have in mind. This is a challenge in every way to help me grow as an artist.
3: Go over the first draft of the script again, make sure i can frame it properly in the comic, and make the storyboard.
4: Begin making the panels for Alternis: Chapter 0
My goal is to have chapter 0, the introduction to the characters and premise of the story. I’ll be posting updates here as I make significant developments, so stay tuned. My art tablet arrives this week (hopefully), so after I get to know it, I’ll be getting started in earnest. I’ve actually got a bit of a spark of inspiration here, and I’m not gonna let this one fizzle out.
