Got one of those little mini kits! Sculpted an occupant based on my cat, and added a few other flourishes of my own :)

I don’t think this will EVER be finished and it will always be a work-in-progress so I figured I’d go ahead and post pics of this.
This is a borrower house I’ve been working on for about two years now (on and off). When I was a little kid I would make elaborate shoebox houses and I thought it would be fun to try it again as an adult. I had way too much fun searching for little treasures around my house and at local flea markets.  Again, this isn’t done - but it’s getting there!

I’ve spent a week losing my mind!! 🧸📕🔮🦉
For my fellow Labyrinth (1986) fans, definitely tested my miniature making skills with over 75 hours over a week. Picking apart a dozen tricky screen caps for references, Sarah’s room is fascinating and daunting to capture so small— some things aren’t exact but I tried to get it as close as I could given the size of the container and my materials. Felt, cardboard, polymer clay, scrap fabric, wood, paint and paper (NFS).
Progress pictures are in a highlight on my IG

finally finished my diorama! the smallest church in saint-saёns.
fun fact: i was too lazy to heat up an oven to bake the polymer clay, so i boiled kim and harry in a spoon xD also they're like... 2cm tall
fun fact 2: the last layer of epoxy resin had some air bubbles in it. i tried to get rid of them by heating the surface of it with a match and fucking burned half of the reeds :'D barely managed to quench it before the church catched fire :'D the reeds were re-done later

1/12th scale diorama I made of my local comic book store, Sir Lonebuck’s House of Comics and Geekery. I gave this to them as a gift and I believe the owner, Shane, is going to display it in the store. This was a complete surprise for him, something I wanted to do to express my gratitude for his store and it being a safe space to LGBTQ+ people.
Everything is made by me, the books are based off real ones in the store.

The past week I've been working on this miniature that I made for @scrapbramble as a belated birthday present. It has a secret drawer and it folds closed so it can be put away like a book
