right before the total solar eclipse in august 2017 i was about six weeks out from getting assaulted and losing my job and about two weeks away from thinking i was going to move from [yuck] to [redacted] with [turns out they were enemies] and instead ended up moving back home in a state of utter devastation and collapse.

what’s next? a move in motion again - the benefit of clearer sight - turns out you only have to wash your hair like once a week actually max and it looks fantastic. good to know that now at least

i hate that im actually kind of looking forward to going back to sephora possibly next month bcus I kinda miss talking about makeup all tha time. that astarion smokey eye post took me like 20 seconds to write out because I literally did that all day everyday for 10 months like just tell me what fucking look you want and shut up and follow me . also shoutout to the one person who caught that saying asti using dipbrow is a deepcut read. they know.

#good example is in the smokey eye post why I chose a pencil eyeliner vs a liquid eyeliner: #liquid would give way too crisp of a line and need too much precision for just tightlining the lashes #astarion doesnt have a mirror to do that shit but with the ud pencil? you could just slap that shit on and go

Makeup talk. What products do you recommend for eyebrows?

I have black thick eyebrows, like the hair itself is really thick and wiry, and fair skin (mac nw10) I’ve tried the recommended eye brow pencil and powder by hair color (usually a medium or dark brown) and I end up looking like kk slider from animal crossing. I’ve tried light taupe like for someone with fake hair and it looks so off … it was something from cvs though.

Do you need to fill them in? Or tame them? Because it seems more that you need them tamed, and you have good brows. You may need something like the got2be gel to tame them. Or the Anastasia Brow Freeze, I believe ELF has a version of this. Don’t get caught up in you have to fill in your brows, you don’t.

When I do clients, and they have good brown hairs, I just think of shaping manipulating them to where I want, and then fill in any bald spots that there may be.

Plus the trends with brows is the more naturally fluffy brows. Remember 2016 and the DipBrow look 🫣 such strong brows.
