The Milky Way's Center - September 8th, 1995.

"NASA's COBE satellite scanned the heavens at infrared wavelengths in 1990 and produced this premier view of the central region of our own Milky Way galaxy. The Milky Way is a typical spiral galaxy with a central bulge and extended disk of stars. However, gas and dust within the disk obscure visible wavelengths of light, effectively preventing clear observations of the center. Since infrared wavelengths are less affected by the obscuring material, the Diffuse InfraRed Background Experiment (DIRBE) onboard COBE was able to detected infrared light from stars surrounding the galactic center and produce this image. Of course, the edge-on perspective represents the view from the vicinity of our Sun, a star located in the disk about 30,000 light years out from the center. The DIRBE experiment used equipment cooled by a tub of liquid helium to detect the infrared light, which composed of wavelengths longer than red light, and is invisible to the human eye."

'Dolandırıcılık Uyarısı'nı gösteren temsili bir fotoğraf. — CanvaPakistan Telekomünikasyon Otoritesi (PTA), halkı cep telefonlarını kullanırken dikkatli olmaya çağırarak onları mesajlar ve WhatsApp dahil toplumsal medya platformları vesilesiyle paylaşılan aldatıcı bağlantılara karşı uyardı. Ülkenin telekomünikasyon düzenleme kurumu, bilhassa Aygıt Tanımlama Kayıt ve Engelleme Sistemi (DIRBS) ile ilişkili bulunduğunu iddia eden mesajlara karşı uyardı.Ek olarak halkı dikkatli olmaya ve kişisel bilgilerini korumak için resmi platformların ve kısa kodların kullanımına öncelik vermeye çağırdı. Cumartesi günü gösterilen bir açıklamada PTA şunları söylemiş oldu: "PTA, halkı, WhatsApp, toplumsal medya ve kısa mesajlar vesilesiyle dolaşan ve yanlış bir halde PTA'nın Aygıt Tanımlama Kayıt ve Engelleme Sistemi (#DIRBS) ile ilişkili bulunduğunu iddia eden #phishing/sahtekarlık bağlantılarına karşı uyarıyor. "Ortaya çıkan mesajın resmi bir kontakt olduğu iddia edilerek, kullanıcının SIM'inin "şüpheli faaliyetlere" karıştığının tespit edilmiş olduğu ve kullanıcının verilen bağlantıdaki SIM sayısını denetim etmesi gerektiği açıklandı.Açıklamanın devamında, "Alternatif olarak başka bir bildiri, kullanıcının sağlanan bağlantıyı ziyaret etmediği sürece telefon kaydının askıya alınacağı mevzusunda uyarıyor." ifadesine yer verildi.PTA ek olarak bu aldatıcı taktiklerin, fertleri fena niyetli bağlantılara tıklamaları ve kişisel bilgilerinin ele geçirilmesi için kandırmak amacıyla tasarlandığını belirtti."Halkın, bilinmeyen numaralardan/gönderenlerden gelen bağlantılara tıklamaktan kaçınması ve bu tür telefon numaralarını/bağlantıları engelleme için PTA'nın yakınma yönetim sistemi (parasız numara: 0800-55055, web bağlantısı: https://complaint.pta) vesilesiyle bildirmesi rica olunur. .gov.pk/RegisterComplaint.aspx ve PTA CMS mobil uygulaması)."Güvenliği ve güvenliği sağlamak için telekomünikasyon yetkilisi, kullanıcılardan yalnızca https://dirbs.pta.gov.pk adresini ziyaret ederek yada IMEI'lerini cihazlarından yada resmi Aygıt Doğrulama Uygulaması vesilesiyle 8484'e SMS göndererek cihazlarının durumunu denetim etmelerini istedi. hem Google Play Store'da hem de Apple App Store'da mevcuttur.
