I like to imagine Will at the battle of Manhattan looking out the window of the Empire State Building, waiting for more casualties.
Then he just watches as Kronos’s army of demigods and monsters alike part, maybe out of respect and maybe out of some primal fear, for one lone demigod. Nico just walks through an enemy army like it’s nothing and more or less tells Kronos himself to fuck off.
Baby Will just being a little starstruck by Nico and his sheer force of edginess

Thomas and Eileen Lonergan, a married couple hailing from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States, had recently completed a two-year tour of duty with the Peace Corps in 1998. Following their service, they embarked on a journey to Australia.
On January 25, 1998, the Lonergans decided to indulge in their passion for scuba diving at St. Crispin’s Reef in Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. Despite being experienced divers with 80 dives each, tragedy struck during their outing. Accompanied by 26 fellow passengers and five crew members on the boat "Outer Edge," the couple anticipated a fun day exploring the underwater wonders under the supervision of presumed experts.
The final dive at "Fish City," a vibrant reef teeming with marine life, began around 2:20PM. However, by 3:10PM, the engines of the Outer Edge roared to life, and the boat departed, unknowingly leaving Thomas and Eileen submerged beneath the waves. The Lonergans were never seen again.
The discovery of their bag on the Outer Edge, two days later, raised alarm. Hotel staff, upon checking the bag's contents and contacting the Lonergans' accommodation, learned that the couple had not returned from their dive. News of their disappearance quickly became an international horror story, prompting an exhaustive air and sea search over the next three days.
Diving gear items washed ashore miles from the dive site, suggesting a tragic drowning. A diver's slate found by fishermen bore a desperate message: "Monday Jan 26; 1998 08 am. To anyone who can help us: We have been abandoned on A[gin]court Reef 25 Jan 1998 03 pm. Please help us to rescue us before we die. Help!!!"
The safety procedures on the Outer Edge were revealed to be chaotic, with crew members unsure of responsibility for head counts and dive log entries. No records existed for the Lonergans' depth or time spent underwater. Alarmingly, a mere three days before the ill-fated dive, a Workplace Health and Safety inspector had issued a warning to the boat. While speculation emerged that the couple might have staged their own disappearance, the absence of subsequent bank activity and unclaimed insurance policies refuted such theories. Suicide was also considered but ultimately dismissed.
Jack Nairn, the skipper of the dive boat, faced charges of unlawfully causing their deaths but was later found not guilty. The Lonergans' mysterious and tragic disappearance inspired the movie "Open Water."

Hey do you want another angsty scenario? Mario and Luigi get called off to another adventure while Peach stays back and watches the kingdom....except the brothers just don't come back. She sends out search parties, contacts other kingdoms, nothing. Did they die? Did they go back to Brooklyn? Did Mario abandon her for someone else? It keeps her up for weeks, months and absolutely wrecks her.
Omg... ;_;
I can picture what such an ending would be like. Months after having chosen to stay in the Mushroom Kingdom to start a new life there, the brothers would one day hear of a strange surge of energy being spotted near the oustkirts of the realm, causing a mild fright to the local fauna. Curious, they would decide to go and investigate.
"Are you sure you don't need me to accompany you?" Peach would ask, casting Mario an insistent glance.
"Not to worry, Princess! I'll watch over him," Luigi would chime in with a wink, ruffling his brother's hair on his way and hefting their toolbag over his shoulder. Mario would mutely follow, his gait however slightly more hesitant than usual.
"Be safe!" The Princess would call after them, feeling inexplicably unnerved at the sight of them leaving.
Mario would stop at the door, pausing to give her a reassuring smile. His deep blue eyes shimmering in the morning sun, his expression one of tender affection and gentle regard.
"We'll be back before you know it, I promise."
And with a small parting nod, he would turn and exit the front gate.
...That would be the last time Peach ever saw him.
No one had believed the magic portal would ever return. But it had. And with its final, abrupt vanishing, it had taken everything from her. 🥀

She was something of a booty specialist - or to put it another way she had the best ass in the biz - all time top 10 IMHO - and her movies were basically 10% twerking 80% relentless anal gang bang and 10% cum shower / swallow 😍.
Then one day a long time back she just disappeared from the industry and was never seen again . . . genuine mystery 🧐 . . . but in her short working career she left an astonishing legacy of hardcore filth that is still working today just as intended . . . 🍆💦💦💦😍
Pro tip : at the start of one of her early movies there’s a little interview with the director and when he tells her the name of the film for just a brief second her shock and confusion and disgust shines through before normal business resumes . . .

15th of December 1900 is the most likely date that the three lighthouse keepers of the year old Flannan Isles Lighthouse disappeared.
The building of Flannan Lighthouse was plagued with accidents, several workers died or vanished while working on the lighthouse, it took about 4 years to complete. Legend has it the island was said to be inhabited by mysterious “little people.” Large birds also were said to live there, too, and have contact with these little people.
Na h-Eileanan Flannach is the Scottish Gaelic name of the small group of islands known in English as the Flannan Isles. They are a bird sanctuary and at times a place of beauty. At others these remote islands bear the brunt of severe Atlantic storms, which whip the seas into frenzy and force even the hardy gulls to stay sheltered in the cliff face crags. For many years they have remained uninhabited, the last residents of any length being the lighthouse keepers, who between 1899 and its automation in 1971, kept the light burning on the highest point of the island group, Eilean Mòr.
On the island of Eilean Mòr is the ruin of an old chapel dedicated to St Flannan. However, over many centuries for many of the Gaelic Hebridean community the islands have been viewed as a place of superstition and bad luck. A view that was reinforced by the tragic and mysterious events that befell the lighthouse keepers on Eilean Mòr in mid-December 1900.
It is the fate of the lighthouse keepers, James Ducat, Thomas Marshall, and Donald McArthur, in 1900; just over one year after the island’s lighthouse came into operation that is the cause of much mystery and speculation. For all three keepers disappeared without trace. It was on 15th December 1900 that the ship Archtor which was sailing for Scotland from Philadelphia had reported that as they passed the islands the lighthouse was not in operation. In those days there was no radio communication between the keepers on Eilean Mòr and the shore station of Breasclete on Lewis.
When the lighthouse tender arrived on 26th December 1900 having been delayed due to adverse conditions.
There was no welcome from the lighthouse keepers, no flag on the flagstaff and no provision boxes left for them as was customary.
The relief keeper Joseph Moore was sent to investigate further and found the main door and gate to the compound closed, the beds unmade and the clock stopped. They also found a set of oilskins, suggesting one of the keepers to have left without them – unusual and worrying considering the poor weather conditions that had been recorded in the log.
The island was scoured for clues, or any sign of the keepers, but nothing was found. The west landing had received considerable damage, with turf ripped up and a box of supplies destroyed, with its contents strewn about. The keepers log proved that this damage had occurred before the disappearance.
The log leading up to the men’s disappearance included some strange entries, with descriptions of an awful storm, high winds, and low spirits amongst the keepers. There were however no reports of storms in the area in the days leading up to the disappearance, meaning that the poor weather conditions recorded in the log were either made up, or localised.
To this day no one knows what took place in the lighthouse that night, but many theories have developed over the years.
The more far-fetched of these theories suggest they had been carried away by a giant seabird, had been abducted by spies or had simply escaped to start new lives. The perhaps more plausible theories suggest that the keepers had been swept away when trying to secure a box in a crevice above sea level. Other theories suggest the psychology of the lighthouse keepers played a part. MacArthur had a reputation for brawling and was known to be violent. It is suggested by some that a fight broke out on the cliff edge, causing the men to fall to their deaths.
It was only after 1912, when English poet Wilfrid Wilson Gibson published his epic, Flannan Isle, that the story began to assume such an air of mystery, speculation, even intrigue. In general for lighthouse keepers themselves, there is no mystery and never has been, my uncle worked for the Lighthouse Board, and he says it was a freak wave that swept the men to their deaths, this is the assumption of many who worked the Islands around Scotland, but in truth we will never know what happened.
Flannan Lighthouse Memorial at Breasclete, Isle of Lewis , as seen in the pics, was unveiled in 2017.

Caretaker couldn't believe it. It had been months since Whumpee disappeared, months since they had that fight that made Whumpee storm out and disappear. And now Caretaker had a lead to Whumpee. They hoped that Whumpee was alive and they weren't stumbling upon a dead body instead.
Caretaker ran down the hallway, and they spotted a figure standing at the end of said hallway. They recognized them immediately: Whumpee.
"Whumpee?" Caretaker gasped, the tears in their eyes threatening to fall. Finally. After months of torment and guilt, they got to see them again. Apologize for what they had said.
Whumpee smiled slightly, one hand behind their back. They waved at them as if this reunion was an everyday thing. "It's me, Caretaker," Whumpee greeted, and Caretaker failed to notice how strained it sounded. "I'm back."
"Whumpee!" Caretaker cried, running forward, their arms out in an attempt to hug their closest friend.
They didn't even see the knife coming when Caretaker got close enough, nor did the pain processed in their mind when Whumpee stabbed them. Caretaker's eyes widened, and their mouth gaped open as the pain exploded in their chest thanks to the knife.
Caretaker fell to the ground, blood pooling around them, and that was when the tears fell as they glanced up at Whumpee. Whumpee's smile turned into a frown, their eyes filled with nothing but stoicness as they watched Caretaker bleed on the floor.
Caretaker could only croak out one word before they passed out from the blood loss:
"Why...?"

Alessia and Livia Schepp, six-year-old twins from Switzerland, went missing on January 30, 2011, under strange circumstances. Their father, Matthias, had taken custody of them on January 28 for a weekend visit, given his separation from their mother, Irina. Alarm bells rang when Matthias failed to return the girls at the end of the weekend, prompting authorities to step in.
It soon came to light that Matthias had taken the girls away to France, withdrawing money along the way, and then proceeded to board a ferry bound for Italy. Tragically, in Italy, he took his own life by stepping in front of an oncoming train. This grim turn of events left unanswered questions about the twins' fate. Their last confirmed sighting was on January 30, and it remains unclear whether Matthias took them to Italy or what ultimately transpired.
Adding to the mystery, before taking his life, Matthias sent a cryptic postcard to Irina, containing the unsettling message that the girls were now "resting in peace." The whereabouts of Alessia and Livia remain a mystery.

For the bros don’t come back scenario, I simply must know what’s going on Mario’s side! I mean, he finally meets the love of his life and now he’s been torn away from her. He’s heartbroken and desperate to find their way home. The weeks/months pass and it seems he’s close to giving up hope of ever returning… Even Luigi may have a hard time cheering up his bro; “We’ll make it back, I know it!” Mario isn’t so sure, but he wouldn’t give up finding a way back, no matter how much hope he’s lost. He has to see her again!
He would spend the rest of his life looking for her. 🥺😔 Searching relentlessly, calling out her name in his fitful sleep, hoping, wishing with all his heart for the chance to have just one more moment with her. To see her again, if only once. Tell her how sorry he is to have broken his promise, to have kept her waiting and caused her pain.
But most of all, longing desperately for the chance to hold her, fiercely and earnestly, and tell her how much he loves her.
That would be his biggest and deepest regret of all. To have never dared say anything while he had the chance. No matter what her answer would have been, he would have let his own feelings be known to her; as he should have a very long time ago. 💔
-
If it may help you feel better, @kaijudragon suggested the idea of it all merely being a bad dream from either Mario's or Peach's perspective, which would indeed be quite the healing twist. ☺️❤️‍🩹 And maybe, who knows... In this particular scenario, maybe this would be the final push they both needed to finally confess their love to one another. 🌅✨️
