steps below ⬇️

OPEN your got damn discord client on desktop (THE APP NOT THE BROWSER IT DOESN'T WORK FROM BROWSER)

now press ctrl + shift + i to open the console (you may have to go to app settings > advanced > toggle dev mode on if it's not showing up)

it's gonna pop out these warnings. ignore them, the code you're about to inject isn't malicious at all. (that being said, ALWAYS thoroughly vet console commands before entering them into your client)

i recommend having your phone open for the next part, just to see how cool it is. below the last console message, paste the block of code on the github page into the text field and press enter.

your phone's UI will flip back in real time, and now you have an option to toggle the setting on and off in your mobile settings. AND it works with modded mobile clients as well!! i was able to make it work on non-rooted vendetta.

what this code does is force the now-hidden old layout toggle to be viewable, since it's a server-side setting. the person who made the code said that this is likely only a temporary solution, and discord may very well remove the toggle entirely from future updates, rendering this code useless.

BUT FOR NOW enjoy being able to use modded apps without the godawful tabs v2

suddenly, the syscord got deleted

we were invited into the new one like a week before we went to a mental health hospital

we told them that we won't be able to mod

came back to us being completely kicked out for "inactivity", when we told the reasoning, they said that we should've used the half an hour on phones we had to be active in the server, instead of talking to our irl friends and our partner system

Important Announcement!!

Hello everyone, I (Fleurty) have a very big announcement! We have decided to ask if anyone is interested in becoming a moderator for the server.

Why now?

The past two months I have been struggling to make announcements, ping people for events, create polls, host events, and so on. I realized that I can't do it all on my own, and would appreciate some extra help. My lovely support team @caveatscriptor and @biron-ore have been amazing! But they too live very busy lives and I don't expect them to run this club 24/7. So it's only fair for them to have some support as well.

Main Responsibilities will include...

Making announcements for events.

Pinging the "Sunday goals" role if no one has done so for the day.

Hosting and creating events (could either be writing/reading related or something relaxing such as movie nights).

Additional thoughts

I'm very open to new ideas in making the server better and more active. I think it has been very chill behind the scenes, and am open to any member who wants to suggest an idea for the community. Lastly, I wanted to say I know this is a huge request, so please don't feel obligated to help out if you can't. I love this club, and I love the community we have built. And wanted to give a big thank you to everyone who has been part of this amazing journey.

Hey there! I hope everyone’s week was pleasant and not too stressful. Here are the end-of-the-week announcements with a special announcement at the end!

Theme of the week (TOW) and Next Week: Self-Identity with an Eating Disorder

Thank you to those who read and benefitted from this week's theme as well as gave feedback on it! I appreciate you all and I hope to have positively impacted the way you view eating disorders and self-identity.

Next week's theme will be a little light: social life and eating disorders. So stay tuned for that!🧡✨

✨SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT✨

Some other people, including myself, who are a part of the community have decided to start a discord server with future paid positions in mind. For now, it is only volunteer-based but we are working on getting grants. Our purpose is to positively change the stigmas around eating disorders and dismantle the toxic communities that glorify them.

We wanted to give the opportunity to people who also want to positively change this by opening positions for: DISCORD MODERATORS

Please know an important statement: You can not force change within a person. That being said, the very least we can do is create a positive environment for change and support.

Requirements:

Must be 18+

Must have a Tumblr AND Discord account.

Both accounts must be at least 18 months old

This is to filter out any spam accounts

It is preferred if you already follow this account but this does not affect chances. We only care about the genuineness of responses.

Whatever background questions are not on there are questions we did not think were relevant.
