(so, heres a quick story.

i have a friend and she was enroute to be a social worker. Like was rejected from masters programs the first year she applied so she went into the field and got more experience and then applied again and yay! She got in! Moved to a different state for school and started it—

and then she dropped it

and learned how to figure skate instead. and got a job at the ice rink so she could get free skate time. and then started coaching children

and never looked back

and i think about this alot. because 1) its okay if the thing you always wanted for a reallllly long time that youve spent time working for isnt what you want after all. 2) its never too late to start over.)

#doctor grey gives life advice sometimes #i say this ALSO as someone who underwent massive trauma at a previous job #so i tapped out of my field for six months #and got a job doing business operations for sephora #where i got a discount #and just got to sit at a computer all day and talk about make up #and make sure all the perfume was there at the end of the day #and there was a brief moment where i was like wow this could be my life #and ITS NEVER TOO LATE TO START OVER

wahhhh thank you.....my reviews arent even anything special i dont conjure images well yet but im flattered....

despite having so many perfumes i feel like im still learning what my favourite notes are, i very often get caught up in what sounds good but i fail to really grasp the compatibility of the scents...or even what might have been compatible can be blended poorly.

my favourite notes im familiar with would have to be: honey, which ive found best encapsulated in Bee Ellis Brooklyn, jasmine, best in Gorgeous Jasmine Gucci (despite very sad longevity..), sweetened rose which sadly all the best looking ones ive found are hard to find or just hard to get in canada but Rose Gourmand Zara i do rather like, and i think i must love orange blossom cause its there in all the sweetest perfumes ive ever smelled (Paradoxe, Love Don't Be Shy, Made in Heaven, and D&G Devotion that i just ordered after loving it instantly in the store)

i need to get more familiar with milk, coffee, hay, and i think i could really love seaweed! i think its what lends that moldy smell to Sea of Gray Solstice Scents, and i actually love it so much. cant help it i have mold nostalgia!! im relating to animalic girlies now like yeah sometimes stuff stinks really good and its cozy.

#currently in the happiest relationship of my life with a punjabi boy and now i look especially at gourmands with cardamom and rose...#im just excited to get his impression of it always im thrilled when it reminds him of something #rose sweets ive been obsessing over ever since the first time i came over and he made us rose milk and it was sooo -#- delicately sweet and fragrant...if i could find a lactonic rose perfume i would be so happy #and i discovered tom ford noir extreme has a kulfi note and ill probably need to go to an out of town sephora to smell it even thoughhh #TF perfumes are TOO expensive even on discounted sites. luckily i dont care that much for them so far. this one may change and devastate me #lost cherry and bitter peach are like good but i can live without them. i called it bright peach what a poser #ALSO YOURE SWEET engage me on this anytime

#my friend posted on her close friends story about getting a cool perfume for like. absurdly cheap.#and not in like an mlmposting hun bot sorta way! In a like ‘look at my purchase is that not nuts’ kinda way #and I was looking at it and she had the discount code in frame #so I looked it up (it’s like. a legit perfume company and it was their website) and tried the code and it gave the discount #so I messaged her like ‘??? is anyone allowed to use this?’ bc the perfume is like a vanilla gourmand really tasty shit it sounds like #and she was like ‘far as I know yeah’#so I ended up buying it and *with shipping* it was like. fourty bucks? for a perfume that is normally like over a hundred plus shipping #so I’m like. that’s such a good deal there’s no way they could just be doing something that good #but also it was legit it wasn’t like my friend was hacked or hun botting #I went to the website myself and used the code from her blurry ass computer picture and it worked didn’t click no shady links #like everything about it seemed legit! it’s just the price was so good!#so I’m trying to not look a gift horse in the mouth but I’m also worried that maybe the gift horse has soldiers inside it #that want to steal my credit card info #oh well. everything seemed to work so we’ll see how it pans out. I hopefully just have a really nice perfume on the way #god knows if I’ve been scammed you’ll hear about it

Hi! Have you seen that nct jaehyun, dooyoung and jungwoo made a sub-unit? Their song is called perfume and it is just SO FUN! The song itself reminds me of some of the old suju songs because the beat is so fun and makes you wanna dance, but the choreography is also ridiculously fun! You should check it out) I was reading your posts about the lack of fun in kpop, and this was honestly very refreshing to see. The mini-album is also quite good, and they even did a live-band cover of their songs. As always, nct guys are incredibly talented musically, good job
