After I saw KAWAT3NGUSAN's crossover DeviantArt memes of Hiro Hamada x Ruby Gillman, I got inspired to do a crossover collage on them. Since Ruby's love interest is a teenage boy she tutors in math, I can see how this idea came to be.

I don't know if KAWAT3NGUSAN had already gave them a ship title or not, so I decided to call them "Hiruby" for now.

I just realize something. Some music score songs from Big Hero 6 had sampled songs from a classical music song. The song is Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber. When I listen it, I just realize some song from BH6, there are “I’m satisfied with My Care”, “Family Reunion”, “Tadashi” and “Silent Sparrow”. In short, you can hear it in Tadashi’s funeral scene, Hiro order Baymax to destroy yokai, Hiro scream and cry when Baymax keep say “Tadashi is here” and the farewell in the portal.

Adagio for Strings is about death and farewell. The song always played in famous person's funeral. Big Hero 6 is about how to deal from losing somebody you loved. The sample song is not just made for how Hiro deal with losing include feelings of anger and disapproval.

This is beautiful.

I felt like it took me longer to draw Baymax than Hiro, haha. XD

Maybe because I used to draw a lot of full-body anime people on paper (except Hiro’s hand can’t be seen here, because he’s holding Baymax’s back/neck.) But I’ve stopped because digitally, I always run out of space. I could expand the canvas, but then it might get cropped in other sites.

It’s my first time drawing Hiro and Baymax! The coloring kinda reminds me of Disney comics.

I actually didn’t watch Big Hero 6, so I don’t really know what Baymax and Hiro are like, but I did read a bit on the movie, though! Hopefully nothing’s wrong!

Some people are really mad about this, when he is literally a health care robot interested in people's physical and emotional needs.

possible explanations for Baymax being able to get 10 bags full of menstrual products:

Hiro updated his programming so he can have a bit of money linked to a debit card or something

Baymax has no money but found an employee instead. Baymax politely and calmly told them that he needs to get a small city's worth of pads and tampons right away, you see he has a patient and it's very urgent, and the cashier who does NOT get paid enough to argue with or explain the concept of capitalism to an 8 foot tall crimefighting robot was like "man, just go"

Baymax knows exactly how money and capitalism works but thinks it has no place in medicine, and regularly just straight-up shoplifts in the name of free and effective healthcare
