I wish bg3 got more into Wyll being from the topmost echelon of Baldur's Gate society and Karlach being from the bottom, and how that's shaped the different ways they lost their souls and what happened to them

Eric thinks Aziraphale and I fought.

Not with words, but actually had a brawl or…whatever. A physical altercation.

And that I won? Or at least came out the other side.

If that had actually happened I’m reasonably sure that he would wipe the fucking floor with me.

So before any other demons get any funny ideas, this is my advice: do NOT try to fight Supreme Archangel Aziraphale, former Guardian of the Eastern Gate.

cast iron controversy

I realized while cooking dinner tonight that obviously in the descendants universe there’s a food trend of cooking things in tiny cast iron ramekins. Like these:

and Jane has to make a whole post about how she’s not IGNORING the tiny cast iron cheesecake trend, she just CANT participate because her boyfriend’s boyfriend’s girlfriend has fairy blood, and she can’t make them if the whole polycule can’t partake, and fairies can’t touch iron without being burnt, so actually stop asking guys, she’s not going to do it. The comments section on the post gets nasty. There’s one long time reader who’s trying to defend Jane and insisting that asking her to make a trendy recipe that her metamour can’t eat is actually discrimination against people with fairy blood, and another longtime reader arguing just as passionately that her great-grandfather was a full-blooded fairy and SHE can eat from cast iron just fine, so there’s really no reason why having a girlfriend-once-removed with fairy blood excuses the author from providing her loyal readers with a cute trendy dessert for their next social gathering!!

A third reader points out that actually, those with fairy blood can eat from cast iron just fine, so long as the food isn’t too acidic and they don’t touch the dish while they’re eating. Remember forks, guys?? The things that we use because eating with your hands is gross??

Jane almost hires one of the younger isle kids (who are DEEPLY invested in the drama) to moderate her comment section, until she realizes that letting Celia and Dizzy moderate is only going to make things SO much worse.

And that’s not even touching the great enameled cast iron debate that broke out after LoyalReader259 linked to a fairyzon listing for the cutest set of blue enameled cast iron ramekins.

(For the record, Jane is a fairy on both her parents’ sides, and she’s not making anything in cast iron because she doesn’t want to bake in gloves just for a trend. Mal could care less what dishware Jane brings to her bridal shower, she’ll wear full leather safety gear if it means she gets to eat cheesecake)

when i was in my twenties, pretty much everyone i knew was strung out, including my partner, so i saw this sort of thing multiple times a day. it was like people were constantly playing russian roulette in my living room; you never knew when someone was going to nod out and never wake up. (and the health problems- collapsed veins, abcesses, staph, mrsa, pancreatitis, hep c, hiv, etc etc, not to mention the threat of jail time.) & this went on for years, it was very traumatic.

so anyway i have complicated feelings about the drug use of my emotional-support fictional character. & devil's foot is my favorite episode bc it is so upsetting.

#i mean holmes wasn't doing heroin or sharing needles so it's not the same thing at all #but still it gets me right in the heart #i guess i can post whatever i want bc this is my blog #i never tell anyone about this i just pretend that part of my life never happened 🙃#pls do not dispose of sharps by burying them in 1in of sand at the beach #empty house is my other favorite bc it is also very upsetting #drug use #the devil's foot #my posts #i need a tag for the dumb shit i say #digressions #tmi #apparently pancreatitis is caused by alcohol use but it's one of things my boys were alway laid up w #being strung out wrecks yr immunity

i went to some vintage and thrift shops today looking for a leather bomber jacket for my launchpad mcquack cosplay. i didn’t find the right jacket, but i did stumble upon these collectible mickey glasses!! i love weird collectible glasses SO much, so these were an instant buy.

also spotted a straight up scrooge jacket at my favorite vintage place LAWL, but it’s too small for me so i left it for someone else.

here’s the items i ended up getting:

spotted this INCREDIBLE shirt at my vintage place. the material is really nice and i adore the colors and patterns. i will definitely be wearing this one to work a lot.

i’m pretty sure this one is a scout’s uniform? the shirt is made of a durable and stiff material and i really like it. the white fastens on the shoulders are too cute! i also nabbed that handkerchief today.

this cropped jacket is REALLY rad. it’s hard to tell because i couldn’t get a good picture in my tiny house but the crop is pretty severe and baggy. it’s actually a size too small on me, so fastening the cuffs are out of the question with my fat wrists, but i absolutely love the way it looks on me. it also kind of gives me della duck vibes.

Live-Blogging Fallout New Vegas Part 2

┐(￣ヮ￣)┌ I wasn't planning to work on the Wild Card Quest yet but accidentally accomplished part of it today when entering the White Glove Society. After hearing Benny's distain and Yes Man's description of it I was VERY curious to see what it was like.

Upon entering I met a man named Heck Gunderson who not only controls the meat market but was also looking for his missing son (named Ted). I offered to help him and began investing (o´▽`o)ﾉ!

( ＾◡＾) After speaking with Majorie the head of the White Glove Society I learned A LOT!!! There's rumors that the White Glove Society consumes human meat. Something Majorie vehemently denies. She also mentions a Private Investigator who is staying there and is looking for a missing woman 👀

Majorie also denies the WGS being involved in that.

She even advises me that I go speak with Mortimer the maître d' AKA her assistant. To give me access to the Private Investigator's room. Upon speaking with Mortimer I'm able to use speech to get him to admit to his involvement in Ted's disappearance and his cannibalism. Lying that I'm interested as well he gives me Ted's location and the key to the PI's room.

(╭ರ_•́) I entered the Private Investigator's room while using my last stealth boy, I grabbed the information I needed and slipped away before security could find me. It revealed he was meeting an informant at 4PM in the steam room.

At the steam room I met Chauncey an employee who revealed he helped in that woman's disappearance and provided me with info before being murdered by an assassin ( ҂` ﾛ ´)︻デ═一＼(º □ º l|l)/!!

Not wanting to get in the cross fire I slipped away then headed the kitchen area. After lying to security I THEN MENTALLY TORTURED THE HEAD CHEF NAMED PHILIPPE.

(⚆ _ ⚆) I'm not kidding. I made him remember his traumatic childhood, lied that I'd publish his cookbook and then told him I saw a radroach in his kitchen!!! All just to get him to leave.

I then prepared the recipe he had been working on, imitation human meat. While the food was being served I broke Ted out and snuck us into the party.

Mortimer wanted to trick, blackmail and manipulate the White Glove Society into eating human meat again.

However after his grand speech I revealed the truth. No one had eaten human meat that night. Mortimer then fled, I was able to stop the cannibalism situation and returned Heck's son. Along with convincing him to still do business with the White Glove Society.

Cannot tell you how many times I had to redo this Quest (even while following a guide). TED WAS SO UNGRATEFUL AND ANNOYING!!! Look what he says after being returned to his father!

Ted Gunderson: "iF YoU KNeW wHat YoU WEre dOIng I cOUld'VE BeEN oUT oF THEre HOurS AgO."

(ง ื▿ ื)ว After all that I reported to YES MAN!!!!

Majorie SUCKS just as much as Mortimer but at least she doesn't eat humans. The White Glove Society is a bunch of egotistical jerks but if they're not causing any actual harm to the people (outside overcharging for their drinks) then they can temporarily stay.

I THINK ABOUT THIS PRIOR CONVERSATION BETWEN YESMAN AND MY COURIER SO MUCH!!!

Courier: "So I should ask these tribes if they'll support an Independent Vegas?"

Yes Man: "Oh no, I didn't mean that! Who needs their support? The Securitrons will be all the support you need! What I meant is, you should get to know these tribes and decide which ones you like and which you don't! You know - shape the future of Vegas! Choose your neighbors! If you like a tribe, leave it alone! Or if a tribe is nasty or going to be a problem - go ahead and exterminate it! It's whatever you want to do!"

She's focused on evaluating who is and isn't best for her ideal New Vegas and the Securitrons. Hearing Yes Man say, "The Securitrons will be all the support you need!" makes her giddy 🥴. However she also wants to support them through her good leadership skills. After all she's CONSTANTLY criticizing the NCR and doesn't want to end up like them.

She also doesn't want to end up like Mr. House. His poor leadership let Benny easily betray him and cannibalism exist within New Vegas. HELL LEGION MEMBERS HAVE EASILY ENTERED THE STRIP!!!

#I’M NOT KIDDING WHEN I SAY MR. HOUSE EASILY COULD’VE GOTTEN MY COURIER TO BE HIS DOG.#All he had to do was three things.#1. Use her emotional attachment with Victor and the Securitrons against her.#2. Keep her out of Benny's apartment so she doesn't meet Yes Man.#3.
