It's the first day of your new job as a preschool teacher, and you can't wait to meet the kids. You can mentally feel somebody close, but you don't know who. Maybe it's Brian, you think to yourself. You know that he loves learning new things, especially about the stars.
'Yup, it's me, love,' Hearing the confirmation from the man himself, you smile as you get ready for the day. When you've finished, you drive to the nearby school where you'll be able to spend time with kids. It has always been a dream of yours to help and educate children because of your own experience as a child. You would never want that to happen to any of them.
The moment you arrived at school, you start to dissociate. Whenever you did, you'd always feel so dizzy and stumble everywhere. You try and walk towards the entrance of the school, even though you know it wouldn't be a good idea. And before you know it, you black out immediately.
Brian didn't mean to front. He was just excited for the first day of their job! He tries to switch out with (Y/N) again, but it doesn't work out. He gives up and goes in the school.
Thankfully, Brian knows what to do, having experience in teaching inside their inner world. He went to the admissions office to get their schedule for the day. He takes his time walking through the halls, reminiscing the times where he had to take over during your school years.
Roger was close, probably coming to scold him for switching out. Brian smiles fondly when he thought of the blond. They were married in the inner world and had two adopted children together. Their kids, Rami and Ben, were littles, but they only come out when they see something sparkly.
'Damn it, Bri, why'd you come out? They're kinda pissed,' The tall man laughs internally when he hears his lover's rough voice. He arrives at their classroom filled with tiny children. They all freeze at the sight of their body and put their attention on him. It almost triggers Brian's dysphoria, but luckily he needs to focus on something else.
In his best impersonation of you, Brian introduces you to the class, "Hello children, I'll be your teacher! Let's be good friends, yeah?" He says in your soft voice. The children nod and respond to him. Today was going to be a great day.
You start becoming co-conscious with Brian for the latter part of the day. You could only hear the chatter of little kids in the room and can't help but be sad that you couldn't be there for their first day of school too.
While the children were distracted by their first art project, Brian suddenly switches out with you, leaving you out with a horrible headache. You groan out loud and press your temples. It wasn't a nice feeling when you switch so fast.
You feel something tug at your pants, and you look down to see a small girl holding a pink piece of cardstock paper. She holds it out to you and you accept it, even though you were still recovering from the switch.
"I made this for you, Teacher!" The little girl enthusiastically says, "I hope you like it!" You look at the paper, seeing a drawing of you and her- Annie as the arrow points at the small stick figure- playing at a swing set.
"I love it, Annie! Can I keep this?" You smile sweetly at her, and she nods her small head, happy that you like her drawing. Annie runs across the room back to her friends and starts helping them with their drawings.
'It's almost time for dismissal, so be prepared for when the bell rings,' Brian warns you at the back of your mind, and you thank him for telling you. As he predicted, a loud sound rings through the room and you stand up to talk.
"Okay, children, it's time to pack up and go home! If you're not finished with what you're doing, we can do it tomorrow." You walk around the room and help some of the children fix their things. One by one, parents arrive to fetch their kids and you say goodbye to each child.
At home, you could feel John and Freddie coming closer to the front. You go to sit on your couch and try to relax. It always helped when somebody needed to take over for a while. Soon enough, Freddie switched out with John co-conscious.
"Hoop diddy diddy," Freddie dances his way towards the kitchen to prepare their dinner. He couldn't cook for shit, that's why John was there to help him. "Hoop diddy doo. Deaky, darling, what are we making today?"
'Let's make some rigaton,' He hears John's distinct accent tell him.
"We are eating fancy tonight!" Freddie exclaims loudly, moving to gather the necessary ingredients. With the younger's help, he tries to not mess up their meal. While he was stirring the sauce around, Freddie dissociates hard.
John switches out, letting out a surprised noise when he realized this. Blinking rapidly, he looks at his surroundings, trying to get used to being out. 'The sauce, darling!' Freddie reminds him.
"Oh, right, yes," John quickly comes to his senses, and finishes where their primary protector left off. He plates their meal and brings it over to the living room. He switches on the tv to watch a random show, and curls up on the couch. He sighs in relief when they could finally relax their body, unloading the stress of caring for children.

32 & 41
im just gonna do these for mavis and if i get more asks ill just decide the oc as i go lmaooo
32. how does your character react to stressful situations? Defensivly? Aggresivly? Evasivly?
i realize i havent rlly. elaborated on a lot of oc’s early life but i project. a lot. and mavis, like me is a childhood mental health system regular, so she’s had a lifetime of learning to deal with shit. I often see him as my most ‘adult’ oc, not in that they are older or any other meaning of the word, they just are able to navigate the world in a relativly healthy way. He’s still very quick to be sent into an episode of some sort, whether it be an anxiety attack or a flashback or dissiociation or whatever, but is genuinly good at removing herself from the situation and practicing self-soothing. Will cry pretty easily when stressed though, so while she can manage himself, its often more obvious than they like when they’re overwhelmed.
41. Is your character aware of who they are? Strengths? Weaknesses? Idiosyncrasies? Capable of self-irony?
In some senses, mavis is hyper aware of who they are. In others, they feel lost. He’s had a long time of trying to become aqquainted with herself, and it rarely goes as far as she’d like. He’s aware of what he can and cannot do, but has difficulty articulating why they feel and act they way they do besides just going ‘oh well, i guess its always been this way.’
