notepad: can you write anywhere or do you have to be in a specific place and mood to write?

I've written everywhere from my bedroom to bus stops to in front of the reception desk at paul mitchell.

if i have something to write with, i can write anywhere.

trope: what’s a pet peeve you have about writing?

i hate that anyone thinks they can put limitations on other writers. there are no rules. rules are road blocks to great art.

the only tip to good writing is to keep writing.

A possible F/O rec that I got is Columbine from Karakuri Circus. She has two forms, one of which is rather tall. She can be quite mean but she's also really into things like romance.

I looked up her wiki page and it doesn’t have much on her, and nothing on her personality either, which sucks. Her adult looking form is fine, but from what I gather she’s rebuilt into a more teenaged looking body, so definitely not a romantic f/o for me. Platonic would be fine, though!

Quetzalcoatlus northropi fossils were found in my state. I think they're one of the largest pterasaurs found so far. Also, have you heard about arctic dinosaurs?

I forgot to add in my last ask that Umineko has a bunch of great women. The one word that I can think of to describe them is girlboss, especially the witches.

(Part 2 to that rec) These women may be cruel and some may have killed people a bunch, but they are very stylish and add a lot of pizazz to their crimes so I can't hate them. They're just having a blast.

Umineko is a mystery VN about a dysfunctional family trying to see who gets their father's inheritance with some murder and magic thrown in. It's also by the creator of Higurashi. There was an anime but I heard that it wasn't that good.

Ah, I know about Umineko! Beatrice has been recommended to me before, actually! I’ve heard the anime isn’t great, but the original Higurashi anime is apparently not great either and I enjoyed it. Probably because I’ve never read the VN. I’m not sure if I’ll get to checking out Umineko anytime soon, but who knows!
