The otter in our huge Community 🌈🦦
Welcome to the rainbow world🏳️‍🌈 or rather the world of Bears ! Grrrrrrr.
Tumblr media
In this diverse landscape, you've got 'otters'. What's that, you ask?
Well, it's a skinny gay guy who's fairly hairy. He might trim that mane on his body or perhaps let it grow free. You'll see some rocking beards, while others prefer a cleaner shave. 🐻🦦
Picture a real-life otter. That's kinda what we're talking about. They're on the smaller side, especially when you think about those burly Cubs or hefty Bears.
Tumblr media
It's all about the fur over here - surprising, right? Especially when you'd normally think otters are as sleek and smooth as they come.
So, otters - yeah, they're fit and lithe, not exactly muscle-bound. Age doesn't matter here. They're members of the bigger bear family. Let's say, otters are comfortably nestled between Cubs and bears, not as big as bears, and definitely tinier than Cubs.
To help you better get it, let's toss in a celeb example:
Scott Caan. Right, the dude from "Into the Blue" and "Hawaii Five-0". Want a visual?
Tumblr media
Check him out. He's got just the right amount of chest and torso hair. Might even trim to keep it in check. So yeah, standing at 5'5'' and a Los Angeles native, Scott's an awesome otter illustration.
Otters are just one component of the immense Bear community. Each week, we'll be talking about the sub-communities within our huge Bear community.

Real Life Horror Stories: Companies that still do THIS, Instead of just hiring people that look like THIS. . . Context: if you’re into makeup, fashion and more then you’ve possibly seen this. Companies photoshopping skin to feign diversity and sell to groups they were to lazy to represent 👻.

Happy 2023 ya’ll!! 🙌🥳💞 I hope you all are ready for a new start! I know I am. Goodness gracious I could use a bit more luck this year. So fingers and toes crossed that we all have a better year! • “Agent of Reflexivity” is meant to pose the question if the figure is conscious, or dreaming? Is this reality or a dream? It is my ultimate dream that humanity lives in harmony with one another. I hope to spread the love, the compassion for all people with my art. So I couldn’t think of a better image to be my 2023 exclusive print! 🖼

all proceeds from #HFCWSY book sales this week (9/18 - 9/24) will be donated to the @americanlibraryassociation to fight against #bannedbooks. why? because diversity in voices and in ideas matters. because an individual has the right to choose what they want to read. because so-called “controversial” subjects are exactly the ideas that help children learn to think for themselves. because every child deserves to see themselves in the pages of a book. books defined my childhood and still do — and why should anyone try to limit that effect for someone else? my favorite banned books include titles like: 🌟 “Nineteen Minutes” by @jodipicoult 🌟 “1984” by George Orwell 🌟 “The Handmaid’s Tale” by @therealmargaretatwood 🌟 “Looking for Alaska” by @johngreenwritesbooks 🌟 “The Kite Runner” by @khosseini and others on my TBR include “The Color Purple” (Alice Walker), “Beloved” (Toni Morrison), and “I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings” (Maya Angelou). share your favorite banned books in the comments and visit my website to purchase a copy of HFCWSY (from any retailer!) to help donate towards this important cause ✨ • • • • • • • • #bannedbooksweek #uniteagainstbookbans #powerofbooks #weneeddiversebooks #weneeddiverseauthors #diversitymatters #diversebooks #diverseauthors #diversevoices #powerofwords #freedomtoread #supportauthors #powerofspeech https://www.instagram.com/p/CiuzulJuKJk/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Gender roles are societal expectations and norms that define how individuals should behave, present themselves, and fulfill certain roles based on their perceived gender. These roles often reinforce traditional stereotypes and can limit individuals' freedom and self-expression.

We present a comprehensive guide on how to navigate and successfully accomplish inter-religion and inter-cast marriages in the year 2024. Our aim is to provide you with valuable insights into the court marriage process for couples wishing to cross boundaries of religion and caste. Marriage is a beautiful union between two individuals, regardless of their backgrounds. However, it can sometimes present unique challenges when couples come from different religions or castes.

Re-Introduction: What am I doing here?
Hi there. 👋😊 I am queer and intersectional (with a chronic illness and disability). I started this Tumblr profile for my spiritual interests, which are pagan polytheism and eclectic witchcraft (solitary). I do a bit of blogging and spiritual art. I also have published a few pagan and witchy nonfiction books.🔮
Tumblr media
I am for diversity and against racism, sexism, queermisia (for instance homophobia and transphobia), against TERF ideas, ableism, against other forms of discrimination and conspiracy theories. I trust science and evidence-based medicine. My current popcultural obsession is "Good Omens" (the TV series and novel) and as the fandom is really active here, I joined this new "happy place" (I didn't want to create another profile for this). 👼 ☕ 🍷 😈
Here is where I am also active online with my spiritual interests: 🌟https://linktr.ee/siochanta I also used to review pagan/witchy nonfiction books, but I do that not so often these days. My reviews can for instance be found on TheStoryGraph. 🌟My published books in English 🌟And in German/auf Deutsch

🌱🙏 Embracing Growth: Acknowledging Ignorance as a Path to Understanding 🌍💡
In our journey through life, it's essential to recognize that we all have areas of ignorance and areas where we can learn and grow. Acknowledging our own ignorance is not a sign of weakness but rather an opportunity for personal development and expanding our understanding of the world. In this emoji blog post, we'll explore the importance of acknowledging our ignorance, embracing a growth mindset, and cultivating a lifelong commitment to learning.
1️⃣🤔 Embrace Curiosity: The first step in acknowledging our own ignorance is to cultivate a sense of curiosity about the world. Embrace a mindset of lifelong learning, always seeking new knowledge and perspectives. Ask questions, engage in meaningful conversations, and be open to different viewpoints.
2️⃣📚 Educate Yourself: Take proactive steps to educate yourself on topics where you feel uninformed or lacking knowledge. Read books, listen to podcasts, watch documentaries, and engage in reputable online resources. Seek out diverse sources of information to gain a well-rounded understanding of different perspectives.
3️⃣🔎 Self-Reflection: Engage in regular self-reflection to identify areas where you may be ignorant or biased. Be honest with yourself and examine any preconceived notions or prejudices you may hold. This introspection allows for personal growth and opens the door to a more inclusive and compassionate worldview.
4️⃣🌍 Embrace Diversity: Recognize the value of diversity and seek out experiences, communities, and friendships that expose you to different cultures, backgrounds, and viewpoints. Embracing diversity allows us to challenge our own assumptions and broaden our understanding of the world.
5️⃣💬 Listen and Learn: Actively listen to others without judgment or defensiveness. Engage in meaningful conversations and truly hear the perspectives and experiences of others. Be open to learning from different voices and be willing to change your own beliefs when presented with new information.
6️⃣🙌 Practice Humility: Cultivate humility by accepting that we are all constantly learning and evolving. It's okay to admit when we don't know something or when we've made a mistake. Embrace humility as a powerful tool for personal growth and fostering meaningful connections with others.
Acknowledging our own ignorance is not a sign of weakness but rather a testament to our commitment to personal growth and understanding. By embracing curiosity, educating ourselves, engaging in self-reflection, embracing diversity, listening to others, and practicing humility, we can expand our knowledge, challenge our assumptions, and become more compassionate individuals. Let's embark on a journey of lifelong learning and create a world where acknowledging our ignorance is seen as an opportunity for growth and understanding.
