also like years later I can really appreciate the fact that Ubisoft made the one Assassin's Creed game with barely any Assassin's Creed elements, that I see AC fans complain isn't a real AC game, and making it about Ancient Greece because I do not like other AC games.
I've tried to play the Ezio trilogy and I hate the concept of the modern day stuff so much and the past stuff not being like "real" that I never could get into the games because I just bounced so hard off of it. I hate the Assassins vs Templars stuff. I hate the ancient aliens stuff. Valhalla was maybe even a little too much in that direction for me given that I never finished (though I did like it while I was playing I might revisit one day). I love stealth games so I should be into these but I can't stand the actual lore of the games.
but the one AC game that I can just easily brush aside and ignore all the concepts I hate because if they're there, they're barely there, is the one AC game that let's me play as a dyke in an era that I have been hyperfixated on since elementary school. Like maybe this isn't a "real" Assassin's Creed game, but that's why I like it and this game was a gift to me personally

`One Piece Odyssey DLC Spoilers for those that haven't played it yet`
I'm (finally) playing the extra chapters and have reached Dressrosa V.3. And. Just, I can't stop laughing.
I reached the scene revelation that it's Law that possesses the Black Cube, and naturally my reaction was, "Law?? I Don't Want To Fight Law.😱"
And it's like the developers predicted that response and therefore, the circumvent-
Me (the fan): I don't want to fight Law.
Luffy (angry): I don't want to fight Torao.
Law, himself (practical): I don't want to fight anybody.
The Developers, Dark Lim: Yeah, we know. 😈 But Free Will Doesn't Exist.

no because in the book everytime kassandra thinks about phoibe they described that she is desperately trying to push her feelings aside, to not be attached and care about someone like family would, they describe it as a fire in her heart that she tries to put out and when kassandra sends darius and her son away for his own safety she says she will be the fire, the beacon of light to distract everyone. because she didn‘t let this fire burn for phoibe when she still had the chance to care about her and take care of her. and later in the underworld she also tells phoibe that adults are foolish and only start with what could have been and what if‘s (this is not a direct quote this is me recalling what happened) once a child like phoibe is gone and it‘s too late. phoibe is essential to kassandra‘s character. she mirrors kassandra but also encourages her to grow and question her views and beliefs that she learned as a child in sparta. and later we can see this in kassandra‘s relationship to elpidios too. she won‘t make the same mistakes she regrets with phoibe. to me it seems also like phoibe is a metaphor for kassandra trying to take care of her inner child and her own trauma, like I said a mirror of kassandra being a child, alone.
