She can do what she wants but she's destroying her image. People are criticising her for being toxic and obsessed. I just don't like when people criticise her.
Damn you wouldn’t have survived her early 2000’s era when the whole De la Rua scandal went down and Argentina as a whole seemed to be against her😂. There were even trying to boycott her music just because she was related to the DLR family. Spoiler alert, she survived! I’m sure she’ll survive a few negative comments over a tik tok 🤣.

Preview panel only. Click here for full cartoon. Or see the on-site navigation tutorial. Or see this tumblog’s FAQ. Cartoons may contain unmarked spoilers. Cartoons linked at 10:00 Central US are new and are pinned to the top of the blog. Cartoons at 22:00 are from the archive and are only pinned during annual summer hiatus of new cartoons. Thanks for reading.
[Image description: Preview panel for the cartoon at the link. The Doctor, eighth incarnation, of Doctor Who and Dr. Bashir and Commander Worf of Star Trek Deep Space Nine stand talking. Worf has visible blemishes on his face. Dr. Bashir is saying, “I’ve developed a treatment and cure for Dlr qung, which is a Klingon disease that makes the pores expand destroying the skin of the face.”  Unfortunately there are not image descriptions at the main Hero of Three Faces site.]

Revisiting The Sealey Challenge 2021 ~ 9
Early in last year's Sealey Challenge - before, I think, I'd stumbled on the information that I could borrow e-books from the Southbank Centre's poetry library- I bought a few collections in the Nine Arches Press summer sale.
One of those books was "Dad, remember you are dead" by Jacqueline Saphra. Which I bought not appreciating that it was the sibling-publication from 2019 to "All my mad mothers", which made the shortlist for the TS Eliot Prize, a first for publisher Nine Arches (and, I believe, for any small press?). Here's a link to the poet's website, which includes poems from that shortlisted collection:
I went looking for a bit more about the poet - perhaps I already knew (and have merely subsequently forgotten) that she was a tutor with The Poetry School, perhaps it was via Jacqueline Safra that I checked the school's courses and signed up for what turned into three terms in Astrid Alben's advanced workshops. (Yes, that they were "advanced" was important to me - a reassurance, a stroke to the wobbling ego? - although I'd completely failed to appreciate that this would probably also mean that I'd encounter Proper Poets in class.)
When I went back to the site to look at Jacqueline's teaching profile, I found an interview headed by a photograph of Limehouse Basin. Arrested, because I lived there for two years, while I was still working at HSBC. This photograph looks east across the basin, with a clear view both of the block my flat was in (our tiny balcony would be visible too, but obscured by shadow and the interview title) and the HSBC HQ to which I was commuting for our first nine months there.
This is where I first started doing daily walk journals. I still know that it was 1000 steps from that little flat to the DLR, walking past the place where this photograph was taken - or 3000 steps, door to desk, to my old office.
We'd moved away before lockdown - thank goodness, because the thing we especially loved was the easy access to the canal towpaths and let me tell you, these are NOT social distancing friendly.
But I was still walking and writing and eventually wrote a series of life-in-lockdown pantoums, some of which made it into my self-published pamphlets.
So I was again intrigued to see that Jacqueline was also writing form-poetry during that period - in her case, sonnets not pantoums and the series has been again published by Nine Arches.
(I mean, I realise now that the sonnet form would be more in keeping with an English poetry tradition, and full respect for this effort - sonnets are MUCH more technically demanding to write!)
One of the sonnets - the final one (but IS IT THE END? Spoiler - not really) - is available on the website, fronted by a free-verse poem.
I really recommend it - for the moment in time, and for the clever use of the chosen rhyme scheme, including a tricksy re-ordering of the placement of the final couplet, reinforcing that same sense - that the end is not the end...

【Nicodemus: Now, I am a bit of a Rooster Teeth aficionado, but I must say: I am a mighty fan of your work in particular, Barbara, Blaine, Yssa, Hannah, Lindsay and Michael, Alfredo, Fiona, Ify, and who could forget little Eric, although many people do?】

With two people left on Dead Little Roosters next up is Alfredo Diaz! Look at him, being all worried and maybe hopefully not totally up to anything. Hope you guys had a great time watching him in action! One more to go!
| Trevor | Barbara | Hannah | Michael | Ify | Blaine | Fiona | Eric | Lindsay | Alfredo | One more left!

Just watched the first episode of Dead Little Roosters and I don’t think I payed enough attention because I was too busy laughing at Ify’s lines and simultaneously simping over Fiona and screaming about her and Lindsay’s letters. Time for a rewatch!

okay here is my projected dlr floor plan @vaxilddan:
Tumblr media
the facts:
barbara is across the hallway from the original murder. the killer is on the left
michael and lindsay are across from fiona
eric and yssa are next to each other
hannah is next to the library
yssa is across from ify (when ify gets the moon mail of barb’s death, the dialogue line is “yssa mail!” if im correct)
blaine is next to michael and lindsay (jessica says she never skips a room after michael’s death, then says “i’m coming blaine!”)
yssa has alfredos key — neither of them can leave their room
michael and lindsay have their own key and also canonically were not in the room together at all times
so this is the only way i think it can be laid out

dead little roosters crack theory
the old men are the killer (aka michael)
1) we know nicodemus became rich by stealing (?) the old men's money, so it makes sense how they may want revenge
Tumblr media Tumblr media
2) eric's boss talks as if there's more than one of them. we also found out that the person calling him is jordan who needs the money for facejam related stuff. the other person part of facejam? michael.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
3) michael is the only person that has been able to leave the room aka he could have been the one that threw the moonbomb into hannah's room
Tumblr media
4) the lock for michael and lindsay's room matches the symbol on the key barbara found that leads to the killer's room
