before asking me about commissions, please make sure your preferred payment method and country are available on codashop!! this is how i will get payment after i send you the artwork ♡
here are the commission details! but to sum it up…
summary of payments
0.99 - rough sketch
4.99 (blessing of the welkin moon purchase preferred) - lineart + flat colors, but if you’d like lineart that is shaded, it will be doubled (purchased twice)
14.99 - shaded lineart with a patterned background (not a painted background, simply detailed & you can also ask for specific details if you have any in mind :])
29.99 - shaded lineart with a background (detailed) that includes a tiny thank-you doodle of your favorite character/whoever you want!!
49.99 - a properly rendered character and background with every detail possible as well as a thank-you doodle of your favorite character/whoever you want!!!
NOTE: if you would like two characters past the 14.99 option, the original payment stands but i also ask for 4.99 payment as well
if you wish to pay beforehand, that’s okay but i do not prefer one or the other. i trust you to pay me when the art is finished and sent!! ^^
what am i not okay with drawing?
NSFW
furries (for now! i am learning still)
mecha
fetish art of any kind
real people
at the end of the transaction…
i will send you the final piece (alongside a thank-you doodle if you’ve paid the 29.99–49.99 options) and i ask that i am paid 48 hours within the time frame of me sending the art (if there are complications please let me know beforehand ♡ i will not be upset if there are issues and payment may take a few more days!!!) all i ask is that i am paid & that you are happy with the art!! once the art is sent it is yours <3 i will not post it unless you allow me to!!!

Hey friends, I really hate to have to ask this, but I just paid off the rest of the debt I owed from an insurance claim & in doing so I had to use my entire paycheck from today and what little was left in my savings (but I'm happy that I don't have to worry about that payment anymore).
I currently only have a few dollars left in my account. I'm good on food but my gas gauge is closing in on empty and I work the next 6 days straight. I really only need like $20-30 for gas to get me through to next Friday.
All this to say I'm holding a Pay What You Want flash sketch sale!!!
Whatever you donate, even just $1, gets you one sketch of your choice (or a one-shot ficlet as a thank you!) Bust, half, full, OCs, existing characters, humanoids, ponies, self-ships, self-inserts, you name it!

@artists who take commissions, how do I become a great client?
As a first time (and very nervous) commission requester, I’m looking for some tips and tricks from an artist’s perspective to make the process not only easy, but fun for any artist I work with. Of course, I know it can vary from artist to artist, but it’d be nice to see if there are any faux pas as well!
I have a couple of questions too, feel free to reblog and add-on because I think it can help other potential requesters who don’t know where to start!
Finding the right artist – Is it best to only look for a style you like, or is it best to request from someone within your fandom?
Green flags – What’s a good thing to look for as a requester to look for in an artist?
No vibes, just references? – Most artists ask for references, but are pinterest boards, or photos that illustrate ‘vibes’ helpful? Or are those too confusing?
Budgets – Should budgets be mentioned upfront?
Deposits vs. upfront payments – Most artists I’ve seen have requested a full payment upfront, is it considered disrespectful to ask to pay a deposit or partial and then full upon delivery?
Feedback – What’s the best way to provide feedback? Notes directly on the image? Is there a standard for revision rounds, or is it up to each artist?
Tips – Are tips expected? What is the code of conduct, or consensus?
What do you look for in clients/projects?
Was there anything your favourite clients have done that made your experience with them more enjoyable?
I’ve also been browsing the #commissions open tag, but if your commissions are open, feel free to drop a comment in the notes ⬇️ Hopefully this post gets traction and it can be a resource for others!
