I pass one of my players a folded note. She reads it. Her eyebrows raise, and her peers heckle her, trying to take the paper from her. She insists it is nothing. The gnome is now cursing. My player curses back. The fighter calls her a traitor and declares an Insight check. I allow it. My player attempts a Deception check. I allow it. It is a dead tie. The table erupts in hoarse accusations. The note falls to the ground, forgotten. It says: “Read this; raise your eyebrows; say nothing to the others; and I will give you a +3 longsword.” I lean back behind my DM screen and watch the fireworks implode. This is my design.

Uhhh, can i have Kris Deltarune, but fighter (DND)??? Pleas???
Kris as Echo Knight
There were a few Kris as a fighter prompts, so I decided to follow that but give it a different spin. Echo Knight seemed the way! Those guys can create a manifestation of themselves - echo - that helps them in battle. I think this is dope!

My rabbitfolk fighter for a bronze age themed dnd campaign. She’s small sized and the team’s DPR fighter.

Our party's newest member! This is S-41, the Warforged Echo Knight. Made of sturdy ceramic and brass plates, S-41 is an ancient eldritch artifact that was discovered and cared for by the archmages of Meridian, the hidden city of mages

Another homebrew, this time a Fighter subclass. Continuing on with my last one of bringing the Wu Jen to 5e as a wizard school, this is my attempt at bringing the hexblade of 3e to 5e in a way more true to its original form. I kinda made this when I was looking at old 3.5e content and found that the hexblade was much more closer to a fighter than a warlock, and it kinda just built up me being confused as to why they ended up a warlock subclass. So yeah, heres a solution I made for myself, just have them be a bit like the Eldritch Knight, but with cursing and different spells

Introducing the Brute, a simple yet effective 5e fighter subclass! The goal was to create a slightly more complex champion with some aesthetic influences from the barbarian, while also keeping it distinct enough and allowing Dexterity-based fighters to get in on the fun, too. Hope y'all enjoy this one!

[Image ID: Five images of the bugs bunny “I wish all blank a very pleasant blank” meme, edited to read: “I wish all fighters a very pleasant fuck that magic shit (eldritch knights are NOT valid),” “I wish all rangers a very pleasant animal companion survival rate,” “I wish all sorcerers a very pleasant chaotic neutral energy even if you’re not technically CN,” “I wish all warlocks a very pleasant mommy or daddy issues,” and “I wish all wizards a very pleasant overthinking.” End ID.]

Art by Tiffany "arty" Boother
This month, truth compels me to write four subclasses. Every single one of them are completely new, and I'm polishing up the final one as we speak.
This first subclass, the Spelleater (gmbinder doc here) takes a theme that is notoriously hard to execute (good at beating up wizards) and does as much as it can to actualise that idea: its benefits still completely deck most spellcasters, but they also work reasonably well against pretty much any foe there is.
Antimagic Vigor is essentially the opposite of a barbarian rage (or rune knight's hill rune), and gives you a combat's worth of survival and ultra high saving throws vs magic.
Spell Drain is my favorite part of it. You cause a bunch of creatures to succeed on a save against a spell being cast - but the spell can be from either friend or foe! Now you can work in tandem with other spellcasters to shape your allies' spells safely round the party, Or, you can just completely screw a lich over. Either way, you get to absorb the magic into your sword, and then unleash it the next time you attack. It's a really nice feature that makes them fantastic against spellcasters while still being handy elsewhere!

here’s some arts of my newish dnd character, for our level 20 oneshot/threeshot/however long it takes for the dm to kill us since the point of the story is to be a major historical event in the world of an upcoming longer campaign and our characters in the oneshot are supposed to be strong and legendary people of our time. this guy is called kimukiba kazenori and he may or may not be half demon. he is a legendary hunter and warrior with a side of arcane trickster

This here is Jessi, my water genasi bard/fighter!
Jessi is who I would have played as instead of Isaac for one of the campaigns I am currently in. So I chose to play as a grump instead of being happy lol. Still would love to play as her someday, but for now she is on the shelf of many other player character ideas to come.
Here is a very quick look at her:
She has a bubbly personality and mainly wants to learn about new people and their stories. She hopes to have tales of her adventures told someday just like her parents. She is not afraid to just walk up and talk to someone. She once was a sailor who lived with merfolk for a time, but unfortunately that was short lived due to being hunted down by pirates. She doesn't know if they are still after her.

Been slowly working on a centaur cavalier fighter named Finley. Backstory basics: retired from the military due to a leg injury and is just really bad at settling down
Tattoo design + gear has taken priority before outfit apparently. She’s based on a percheron horse so she’s BIG (height reference to my other pcs for reference)

Another character commission of a pirate-esque echo knight idea. This one had a really unique color scheme and I'm pretty stoked with how it turned out!
