Ray-
I thought maybe our life
Was like a love song
We sang the same symphony
Then where did it go wrong
We used to be together
In all the red and blues
Now we are standing
Under pink and purple hues
Those eyes poured love
Those eyes used to shine
Those lips had a smile
And so had mine
Now the looks still pour love
But the eyes don't shine anymore
I wanna smile again
But I don't know what for
Luna-
For the new beginning
For the new chapter
For the new hopes
Let's be a good adaptor
Coz things change
They always do
But we are same
Just the circumstances are new
Nothing went wrong
I am with you
I always have been
Coz you know I love you too
You are right,
We used to be together
In all the red and blues
But see,
We are still together
Under the pink and purple hues
We were together
When we used to fly high
We are still together
When the clouds came down from sky
So put you hand in mine
I'll take you far
I'll take you somewhere
Where we can count the shining stars
Let's stand strong
Let's face the giant waves
The squall will pass by
Coz a sunny day awaits

This is an excerpt from a Politico article. (Politico is a journal focused on US politics, especially Washington DC politics.) Keep making yourself heard! We can force a change!
Text of the excerpt under the cut for screen readers:
One House Democrat told me of a dinner last month with about eight other colleagues, a cross-section of the caucus ideologically and generationally. "It was unanimous that this Israel-Gaza war needs to end now and that Biden needs to stand up to Bibi," this lawmaker told me, before offering his own view.
"This is a disaster politically," said this House Democrat, who rarely criticizes Israel. "The base is really pissed--and it's not just the leftists. I have never seen such a depth of anguish as I've seen over this Gaza issue. Bibi is toxic among many Democratic voters and Biden must distance himself from him--yesterday."

This last episode was the only time their entire relationship that Eddie has ever ignored Buck. Ever. And all because he was high on some new boy the same way Buck is (kind of). What I’m saying is they would really have to change Eddie’s entire character and pretend the last 5 seasons of their relationship didn’t happen if weren’t going to win in the end. Be patient.

Do not to give up 📌
Life has been more complicated lately, I need to rant I’m writing this…mostly to encourage myself …. And others ?
Balancing a full time job, online uni, and chronics illnesses and life in general… feels like walking a tightrope lately, with all the looming exams and relentless assignments cast shadows of doubt, especially when I witness fellow students succumb to the pressure …. Oh yes something else adds up to that, one of the teacher….silence…nothing….how are we supposed to understand anything if we’re not able to ask questions? Or anything ?
With all the exhaustion and anxiety I’m trying by best not to give up… I’ve been so unproductive but I’m trying I’m really trying… and words from the past are coming back to me to haunt me… « not enough, stupid, idiot, incapable, you’re never going to succeed at anything… »
I found a little bit of hope, motivation … and then nothing… but I can do it I know I can, I remember why I’m doing all that, I want to be a real teacher I want to be proud of myself! It’s a real challenge, and I’m gonna prove to myself ( and others) that I will succeed ! the doubts, exhaustion, lack of productivity/ motivation, fears, anxiety are just part of the journey ? Right ? let’s stay positive
I writing this also, for the future me, in 3 months from now because it’s gonna be hard too… so did you succeed? If yes you will too now !
If you’re reading , I very much doubt about it but anyway: We will succeed anyone who’s having doubts or feeling unproductive/ unmotivated… If you need to rant go ahead share our struggles and triumphs ? 🤗

Another long post
I really need us in the US to start thinking outside of the box on how we protest. Im making this post in hopes that it will inspire the people who can protest make everyone’s voices heard.
Our government choose not to listen to us anymore. Maybe our local government takes an earbud out once in awhile to keep us just starved enough to beg for more but overall they’re not listening. We have to start thinking bigger and more disruptive
Marches, and signs, and rallies have completed the first step which is awareness. Everyone at least knows about Palestine. Weather they care is a whole different post that I could make. But the people who haven’t listened are the ones at the top. They don’t feel the need to listen to our voices because we pretty much do nothing for them. Calling hasn’t worked because they already know what’s coming. Faxing them hasn’t worked because it wastes paper and they now what’s coming. Emailing doesn’t work because they know what’s coming and send it to junk. So what do we do? Part of me knows what we should do but another part knows the message gets tainted and the only real change we would achieve is more overcrowded prisons. I refuse to lose hope because that how we really die but I’m hitting a wall wondering not only what I can do but what we all can do?
I refuse to believe that all we can do is go to rallies and call and vote. If one solution doesn’t work than what other ones can we try? What have we learned?
Please start cracking open history books again and read and take notes and talk with one another.
I’m done with the talk that school teaches us nothing important. Schooling teaches us exactly what we should be applying right now. Crack open a book on the civil rights movement and study what techniques everyone used to disrupt. Discuss with your friends and community about it
Please god start talking to your community and making connections!!!!
The days keep passing and no change is getting done and this is how we do it. We all build a communal team to help solve problems
It’s seriously time to stop thinking about ourselves and more about the people around us and how we can help. It’s seriously time we think linearly all the time and connect with the minds around us. We are so much greater than we give ourselves credit for. You reading this post can do it and make a difference you just have to commit.
I’m not giving up hope because that’s how we truly die. We can absolutely change you just have to stick with it no matter how uncomfortable it may be. Once we connect with the people around us we can become a force of change that can eventually shake the country. So please start talking with your community. Talk to yourself and see what you can offer or who you can team up with and offer your skills. We are greater than what our government wants us to be.
We can do this

Today, India launched Aditya L1 ( India's first solar space observatory) and few days ago the grand success of Chandryan 3 that made true indians proud. There were so many people who prayed for ISRO failures but, they succeeded. And, I learned that if you work hard with determination, dedication and vow to never give up on your dreams. You will succeed no matter how many haters you have; you will rise and shine one day. Just donot give up on yourself.

Despite everything, It's Still You.
Tumblr media
The road we've traveled on Together may be rocky, but we can still ride it together.
Every friend made and lost
Every relationship formed and broken
Every memory made, good or bad
Every hopeful dream, completed or crushed
It may have been hell to go through it all, but
When you look in a mirror, who else do you see in it?
It's you.
No matter how much you've been through, it's still you in the end who has pushed through it all.
Even if you transitioned, it's still you in the end, just not the one that you felt didn't match your true self
Just remember
You've made it this far. Now's not the time to give up.
We're in this hell.
Together. So let's make the best of it.

A Fresh Start: My Dual New Year's Resolutions for 2024
Shaina Tranquilino
January 26, 2024
Tumblr media
As the calendar flips to a new year, it presents us with an opportunity for self-reflection and personal growth. While resolutions often seem daunting, they can also be a powerful catalyst for positive change in our lives. This year, I have chosen not one but two resolutions – reading the Bible and donating money to organizations helping those in need. With these commitments, I aim to make up for unfinished business from last year while embracing new paths toward personal development.
Resolution #1: Reading the Bible Last year, my intention was to delve into the depths of the Bible, seeking wisdom, guidance, and spiritual solace. However, as life got busy, I found myself unable to fully commit to this endeavour. Nevertheless, recognizing the immense value that lies within its pages, I am determined to make amends and prioritize regular scripture reading this year.
The Bible is more than just a religious text; it is an unparalleled source of inspiration regardless of one's faith or beliefs. Its timeless teachings hold valuable insights on morality, love, forgiveness, and resilience – virtues we can all benefit from incorporating into our lives. By dedicating time each day to immerse myself in its sacred passages, I hope to gain a deeper understanding and apply these principles in practical ways.
To ensure success with this resolution, I plan on establishing a consistent routine tailored to my schedule. Whether it's through morning devotionals or evening reflections before bed, creating dedicated moments for scriptural learning will foster spiritual growth and bring me closer to accomplishing my goal.
Resolution #2: Donating Money to Help Those in Need Another resolution close to my heart is making financial contributions to organizations working tirelessly to alleviate suffering among vulnerable communities. Although I made some donations last year, I feel compelled to do even more now – giving back echoes the essence of humanity and strengthens our collective well-being.
The world faces countless challenges, from poverty and hunger to inequality and environmental degradation. By supporting organizations that tackle these issues head-on, we can actively contribute to positive change and provide hope where it's needed most. From local charities addressing immediate community needs to global initiatives striving for long-term impact, there are numerous avenues through which our contributions can make a difference.
To fulfill this resolution effectively, I plan on researching reputable organizations aligned with my values and causes close to my heart. Establishing a monthly budget specifically dedicated to donations will ensure consistency in my philanthropic efforts. Additionally, volunteering my time or skills alongside financial support will allow me to engage more deeply with the causes I champion.
Embarking on a new year provides an opportunity for self-improvement and personal growth. While resolutions often come with their fair share of challenges, they also offer a chance for redemption and renewed commitment. This year, by focusing on two unfinished resolutions from the past – reading the Bible and donating money to those in need – I am determined to create lasting positive change in both my life and the lives of others.
Embracing scripture will bring spiritual enlightenment, guiding me towards compassion, empathy, and moral fortitude. Simultaneously, contributing funds towards worthy causes will empower communities facing adversity while nurturing gratitude within myself.
As we embark upon another chapter of our lives together, let us seize this fresh start with unwavering dedication and open hearts. May 2024 be a year of growth, kindness, and resilience as we strive to become better versions of ourselves while making a meaningful impact on the world around us.

Choosing between two very different but equally life changing arrangements is extremely difficult.
But in doing so I am choosing to go on living. It means that I am choosing to fight through the hard days and embrace the good.
While I feel like nothing right now is working in my favour I am doing everything in my power to remind myself that this can't last.
Everything is temporary. The good fades into the bad and the bad gives way to new and exciting beginnings.
I have the right to live to know a brighter and more joyful existence.
My friends have been an unending support system for me. Even when I've tried to push people away they refuse to let it happen. They sit and they listen and they validate my emotions. They empathize and even when the days are so blindingly painful that I find it increasingly difficult to express the pain I'm feeling .... they still sit with me, they let me cry - and sometimes cry with me - they remind me how much they love me and they remind me of why I'm here and why I should push through the pain.
I had a friend call me the other night and she sat on the phone with me while I sobbed for an hour. She helped me feel validated and love and cherished. So I want to continue living for the good days and simply breathing through the bad.
Life is complicated and nobody said it would be easy. We just never expect to lose our homes and ourselves at the same time. Yet we push forward.
