narcissus spokes (prim & provocative) -> aro-graysexual (sex and romance positive). it’s something she comes to discover throughout her narrative. she doesn’t really experience or feel romance or desire for sex in a traditional way; she desires being wanted so she wants those things for herself but she doesn’t experience the actual attraction herself. she didn’t realize it bc on paper before her divorce, she didn’t have to question any of it—being with myrtus and being casually intimate but never hot and heavy seriously never bothered her. once he leaves though, through meeting new friends (i’m cooking) and generally going through it grants her new perspective.

carlos carvalho (jenna the reaper / jenna the witch king) -> aroace (sex/romance repulsed). in a qpr and is a caretaker of jenna - though when i say they're in a qpr its a very unspoken thing between them. like, jenna's whole goal is to become a witch and then make carlos her familiar so they're never separated, so i think that's very explicit about what they are to each other pff.

I was gonna make a shit post about Jason stealing the Batmobile to do donuts in front of Wayne Manor, but the more I thought about it the more I feel like stealing the Batmobile for the sheer thrill of, you know, taking the Batmobile for a late night joyride, with the extra bonus of pissing Bruce off--'cause let's be honest, the guy may be doing his best, but his best doesn't always means he ends up being the best father lol--is just a rite of passage for the Batkids at this point.

I feel like Dick and Jason argue a lot about who started it, too. Dick keeps insisting it was obviously him being as he's the oldest/the first Robin so therefore, out of anyone, he had the earliest opportunity to steal the Batmobile from under Bruce's nose.

Jason points out the very obvious fact that Bruce literally adopted him after he caught Jason hijacking the Batmobile of all its tires. If any of them were the first to hotwire the Batmobile, it definitely had to be him.

If I had to bet actual real world dollars on it, though, I'd have to say it was Steph. No particular reason. I just think she'd be the first. No hesitation and absolutely no fucking remorse. The second she laid her eyes on the Batmobile, she just knew how she was going to spend her Friday night.

cryo fits so well to me. especially bc most cryo characters have themes of isolation/loneliness/or family issues (same reasons why i assigned cryo to carolina as well)

from snezhnaya originally but moved to mondstadt at some point, which is where she met church.

in this AU i think she's gone missing or tends to travel a lot without telling anyone, so the others are just kinda waiting for her to come back.

i personally think felix would use a delusion rather than a vision. especially because delusions are like a form of "false" power like power that's created rather than gifted by the gods like a vision is. he wants a vision soo badly but he was never given one so he had to use a delusion to feel powerful, and even then he's being actively harmed every time he uses it bc of how delusions drain their user's life force. could be poetic but im shit at wording it lol

Since Red died, did Purple keep any of his belongings? Wore any of his cloths or armor?

What was he like at the funeral? Did any other Irken feel his pain or was Purple the only one mourning?

Yeet "Oooh... The Tallest really isn't fond of answering questions about late Red's death. I'll answer any questions as best I can.

"My tallest mourned late Red longer and harder than I have ever seen any drone mourn another drone. They knew each other since smeethood. They were linked in spirit, not just in their title. I think it was brave and sweet how openly Tallest Purple grieved, but he worries the empire might see his grief as a weakness.

Tallest funerals are never recorded or broadcasted on live stream. I remember watching the news segment announcing Late Red's passing. Tallest Purple looked like a shell of himself when he addressed the empire. His wardrobe staff told me he was inconsolable at Red's funeral. He could barely keep it together long enough to carry Red into the Colossus's right hand and read his rites before lighting his body aflame. They told me his grieving screams echoed clear across no drone's land... Poor tallest Purple.

Usually when a tallest passes the empire goes into lockdown until a tallest is measured. There is a period of recognition and manditory honorable mourning by the empire, but because late Red and Tallest Purple ruled as one unit, there was no lock down. Purple just took over the full title and us shorter drones were instructed to carry on as normal.

I think that really distressed Purple that the empire didn't seem to mourn his loss as he did. I'm sure SOMEONE besides Tallest Purple must have been devastated when late Red passed.

To be fair, my generation have only been alive long enough to salute late Red and Tallest Purple. Most of the empire is still nostalgic about late Miyuki, which is understandable. She's a hero of mine too. Late Red didn't rule long enough for the general public to be deeply invested in his passing. He's convinced no one will mourn him when he passes. I, personally, imprinted on Purple as a smeet, so I take comfort in knowing he's still with us. I would be devastated if we lost Purple, even if he doesn't believe me.

Purple wore his funerary robes for YEARS after Red's passing. He was still wearing his white robes and vail when he hired me as his coordinator. He snapped out of that eventually, but went through a fase where EVERYONE on the massive had to wear late Red's shade of red. I was even instructed to wear contacts to alter my eye color for his first century jubilee. Luckily he moved past that too.

Late Red's formal robes are on display at the Tallests' memorial museum on the massive, but Tallest Purple has kept all of late Red's other robes in his chambers. He kept nearly all of late Red's possessions, including the puppets he crafted, his old battle ballad choir helmet from his cadet days and even the bag from the last box of donuts he ate.

I made another silk doll of Red in formal robes for Tallest Purple. He talks to it regularly. It's a little strange, but whatever brings him confort.

Threw in some old posts on the subject. Again, couldn't find the exact post I was thinking of In reference to this ask ^^; This reminds me; I never really touched on the side plot, but frylady Soo-Garr was actually in love with tallest Red; which was her biggest motivation to try to become the next frylord of the Massive's grand mess hall.

6. Definitely Vash! He's so complicated and sad and I hate him sometimes for it, but when he's having fun, it's the easiest thing in the world. I just think, "What would I do if I was in a silly goofy mood?" and then Vash takes over from there. When I read that back after writing it, I burst out laughing. That wasn't me, I swear.

20. This question is hard because I don't want to give too much away for Bluebells, but I do love repeating simple lines. Meryl says "It's just Vash." while Vash "thinks of Meryl," etc. etc.

Also, Funeral Rites is loaded with shit. I mostly loved writing about Vash stepping over the line in the sand like a threshold when he's carrying WW - the old wedding tradition of carrying the bride over the door to prevent bad luck. Their bad luck had already come, unfortunately.

When Yuta was teething (while his fangs were growing in), Regal froze some steaks so he could kinda chew on them and hurt less

Bryan was not gung-ho on the whole situation at first cause he hates eating animal products, which had been how Regal was sustaining himself, so he has a chat with Bryan that leads to "I can't consume something without the consent of whatever made it". In order to keep his morals, the BCC agree they'll just drink the blood they spill in matches. It's the most humane alternative.

Mox noticed absolutely no difference after he was turned besides his teeth. He already lurked in shadows and wore bigass hoodies and had mad bloodlust. Now he just also gets to bite

Regal's got a big, old manor on some land he "inherited" a little north of Blackpool (he inherited it from himself. He's very very old, you know)

He was turned a very very long time ago, when pickings were slim in terms of who he could drink from. Plague was everywhere and plague-ridden blood made him sick. Those who were completely healthy were few and far between, so when he came across them, in his Regency attire, looking every bit a well-bred Lord, his hunger would overtake his mind and he would devour them as soon as he got them alone. Blood smeared around his face and hands from the struggle and once he's drained the body dry, his hands are trembling from the adrenaline rush as he licks any spilled drops from them. His tongue darts out to catch any lingering on his lips.

But Bryan doesn't need to hear about that. None of his sons do. They will never have to go hungry as he did.

Not when he's spent the last 20 years building a reputation for violent bloodlust. Not when he's learned how to sneak brass knuckles across borders just so he can break a nose during a match (maximum blood for minimal actual damage. Regal loves how fragile human heads are)

After their first victory as a team, Regal takes his sons home and pours them each a glass of blood. He keeps the stuff blood banks would dispose of. It's not ideal, but it's like day-old donuts to them. They share a drink together and for the first time in a damn long time, the manor isn't empty anymore. They may all be the undead, but the house is almost singing with life

VAMPIRES DON’T TAKE ROAD TRIPS

summary: 20 year old darren de leon is content with just living his life as is, with his father dave, step-sister (kinda) olice, and not including his father’s girlfriend veronica as much as possible. that is, until someone he never thought he would meet shows up at their doorstep—his absentee mother, lizette rouzet blanc who… incidentally is a vampire. someone is out to hunt darren down and so they have to leave town to get to safety… leading to the most awkward and life changing road trip he’s ever been on.

summary: nyoka is destined to die. a foreigner in this land that worships gods unfamiliar to them, nyoka was taken in by the council of elders when their parents passed away from a strange illness many years ago. this grace came with a caveat; that when their time came, they would be thrown into the mountain as a sacrifice to the gods. nyoka has no intention of dying for a cause they have no stake in—however when they’re suddenly bumped up the chopping block and are next in line to die, they need to think fast. the only way to get out of this? well, if they’re no longer a virgin. and perhaps, the mysterious spice merchant verin is the key to defying this fate.

summary: yeah tbh no fancy summary here, 4 kids traverse to a fantasy world in their dreams where they’re the chosen ones meant to stop a great evil. they continue to visit dream world every time they fall asleep and they can see the changes irl but eventually when they all go to the same college they end up meeting in person for the first time. which is yknow. bad cuz that means the evil is about to strike but yknow. GOOD bc shenanigans.

summary: after finishing a recon mission with freelance special agent “linda”, “marvin” is ready to finish these file downloads and get onto his next mission. they receive sudden correspondence from his employers however, that they will need to wait (i have to decide how long) before they can be extracted and they are not to leave the hotel. this forces two extremely private and dangerous agents in one room to unfortunately tear each others walls down and bear each others souls before parting once again.

summary: i’m still working on the plot but this is a thumbelina adjacent reimagining. i’m thinking itri is a “dwarf but not how we think about them” and his nickname is thumbs because he’s great with his hands and always has the “thumbs” to fix things. i know the giants to them are essentially like past gods or something like that. So. gotta figure this out.

summary: utah and slug's mother has been missing since slug was born, and almost 20 years later, utah wants to find her. at the same time, their aunt, official but absentee caretaker, and their mother's elder sister, risky game, receives a letter in the post from someone claiming to be her long lost sister. this leads to the three of them, plus utah's hacker partner gator to head out on a fucked up roadtrip to find out what happened to their mom annnnd a bunch of other shit happens too.

The Creepiest Trip Ever

So, Daniel pretty much out of the blue decided that he really wanted to go out and see this eclipse. Daniel likes to go out and drive and it gets his mind off of his son who was stolen from him by the State. DCF and the people behind it are fucking crazy and awful people and they conspired with his ex-wife to take his kid away. So, he's really traumatized and he needs something to do and he loves to drive.

He had been kidnapped as a kid himself and brought to the Grafton WymanCorp which is a military facility and while he has forgotten most of the memories from there, it is pretty clear that a lot of extreme child abuse went on their. Grafton also has this big huge facility called the Grafton JobCorp which is just a big fenced off building and you don't know what goes on inside or outside. It seems like an "invisible prison" for the poor where they send people to train them with "job skills."

So, he decides to go to this other place MiraVista hospital which is right in the back of the Holyoke Mall and which he labels as "Calvary" and this place is ultracreepy. There's a few religious cemeteries on the outside of this hospital and it's just unclear why they are their, but one of them has a bunch of stone markers, the alphabet just strewn about the place with a statue of Mary. The first "B" though is turned upside down and at the end is 2 stone markers "a" and "b b" marked into them. Why they are there is totally unclear to me at all, but the feeling of this place is just that bad things happen here. Daniel has a knack for finding these weird masonic places and he showed me, just a bunch of these stone masonic buildings in Worcester.

Then we start to drive East to Cleveland because I looked up where the Solar Eclipse would be and it was right over Cleveland and this is where it starts to get really weird which is that we go past this place in Ohio called "Seven Hills", now in the Book of Revelations it talks about the city of Seven Hills being the place where the Whore of Babylon rules from and....well, I don't know, but I had this sense we should check it out and it was only like a village of 11,000 people or whatever, but it is an ultrabuilt up mall. There's a Coptic (Egyptian) and another one called living word of god. What's weirder is that even though the name is seven hills, there are....no hills. it's basically flat. None of this seems too, too weird, but right next to it is a town called "Parma" and in Parma there's a LOT of pizza places and a panda express and a place called Master Pizza. In case any of you don't know, all this "pizza" references can be references to child trafficking.

Anyway, when we drove back I noticed that there was all these houses with different colored lights on. Each of them had a different color or maybe two colors and one house had a giant skeleton in front with lights on....and, well, I think this is the place. Like, the real place where the entire system is run from. There were signs around here too that said "Ohio, the heart of it all."

So, one thing we know is that they use blackmail to control people in the system. People, in order to rise always have to have something on them of some sort or another, and, well, maybe I'm jumping the gun here, but I think that this place in Ohio might be the place where it's all run from.

Indianapolis is the most Masonic city I have ever seen. There's a big Scottish Rite Castle, but if you go to the public library there is what is clearly 2 enormous demon statues right in front of it. One is a big black donut which Daniel insists is a raped anus and the other though....the other is a giant humanoid black statue, no head with arms and legs that spindle down something like a few hundred feet. I've linked it here. in the image on search it's somewhat hard to see on the left, but this figure is ENORMOUS. Opposite the library is a big war memorial museum, a giant obelisk topped with a giant pyramid and ominous giant buildings to either side.

Mammoth Caves, Kentucky. That's where we went afterwards and maybe we should have stayed there but I had this court date and needed to come. Anyway, when we stopped at a rest stop there was a bunch of weird flashes of light, a train started moving and then we started to hear something in the woods. This was not lightning. it was just something flashing by the way.

On the way back we went through New York City and we had another weird experience which was that the cops were blocking traffic in these bizarre vehicles in the middle of the night. I am sure they would say something about road work, but there was not a lot of road work but this vehicle with yellow flashing lights was zig-zagging in front of us. then another one of these vehicles starts turning on cop lights and the guy pulls us over, starts yelling at us to put the keys on the dash....then he just takes off. The way he was yelling, I was thinking that this guy was going to pull out his gun and go after us or something.

Like, just zigzagging in front of traffic is extremely dangerous, so why the fuck would a car do this? Anyway, we drove off....
