#genshin #genshinedit #genshinet #genshin impact #mondstadt #liyue #inazuma #sumeru #m:gfx #m:*#m:gfx:all #flashing tw #trying something different :> although it nearly killed my laptop for good in the process #i've been wanting to do something representative of the archon quests for a while #and then i rediscovered those stamps from last year's new years web event and wanted to use them #but that's also why fontaine isn't here because it doesn't have one OTL sorry fontaine enjoyers #i considered making the stamp myself but i'm too lazy and this whole thing was already a lot of effort #the scenes i tried to balance it between like. key/memorable moments + different characters + cohesive compositions #(e.g. nothing too chaotic with movement and angles like most fight scenes tend to be)#the quotes similarly were ones i personally found really memorable and/or representative of the archon quest in question #i didn't even realize all of them except inazuma had their nation's theme (freedom contracts wisdom) in them until i put this together #so i skimmed through for an eternity one for inazuma but honestly i couldn't find any i wanted to use more than the ambitions one #and ambitions is a major theme the inazuma quest focused on that tied a lot into the themes of eternity anyways #if i had included fontaine the quote i chose would have balanced it out since that one doesn't explicitly say justice either #it was gonna be neuvillette's line #you are a devious one focalors. things as being as they are... surely you know that i could never again declare them to be 'guilty'

Was there a sense of protectiveness over his two blind companions?#I don't want an answer. I love that it is ambiguous #And oh man. having the noble XXC do the killing is so deviously evil. What a loaded chekov's gun.#you know xxc is gonna have a breakdown over it *when* he finds out. Ever since you shared your lovely mugs with me, the thought that Ran would get them as a matching kitty set for herself and Conan, wouldn't leave me alone. So I decided to embrace the idea; for both the headcanon and the personal touch.

Originally I planned something more silly, but the soothing vibes of my first sketch were just so lovely, I went with this instead (especially since I thought you might appreciate a bit of peace).

there's a certain kind of artist that can do that... a better type of artist................. and an artist who can stand to look at the reference material for more than a few seconds at a time.

I think it's only natural to feel anger when somebody isn't "taking your advice" or listening to you about their mental health or what will help them. People want to help people, and the anger comes when you are perceiving somebody as not being receptive but...

It can be a selfish impulse to say that your opinion about their illness is the only thing they need. It isn't about you, even though the advice you give is given by you.

Nobody deserves to suffer, this is true. But, also, nobody deserves to be forced to do things that either won't help or won't be genuine. If somebody isn't taking your advice, there's a reason for it (maybe it's not a good enough reason for you, but this isn't the point). It's okay to be disappointed or angry, but it's not going to help to lash out at them. That is only pouring water onto a grease fire.

#mental health #mental health advocacy #sometimes you DO need to freefall without a parachute. sometimes the 'just get better! ☺️' mindset that's given to us will slowly kill us #the whole 'if you take my advice you'll be free from your illness 😇' saviour complex is honestly something that would have killed me #because it wasn't coming from a place of genuinely helpfulness or what would work for *me*...#...those pieces of advice came from the mindset of how to make everybody else comfortable...#...because it minimized the fact that i was (am) fucking insane and unwell and ill and debilitated...#...the advice came across as sinister because it wasn't about me despite addressing my insanity. it was ABOUT everybody else #and i just got done watching a heartbreaking video about somebody else's decline and i don't want them to suffer...#...but i also don't want to be the cause OF their suffering. my advice for them would be unhelpful i think...#...so i am still heartbroken and sad and maybe angry but that... isn't their fault. they are SUFFERING and VISIBLY so...#...i want their suffering to end in any way that will actually help *them* and not my ego y'know...

okay, but putting aside the comedic aspect of this, it is concerning the amount of people who are prompted to vote for candidates just because it's funny. I'm not the biggest fan of how his policy about the boarder sounds [Site], but I do implore anyone who is able to vote in the 2024 US election to please research other candidates.

The media is only going to continue pushing the idea it's inevitably going to be Trump vs Biden 2.0 and we have no other options, that we have to vote for Biden again because of Project 2025. Is that whole thing terrifying?

Yeah, fucking absolutely.

But voting for Biden will not solidify our safety from that. Biden is exactly like the rest of them. He always has been. You can't make the lesser of two evils argument when they're both just plain evil.

You cannot say that Biden is even mildly a better choice than Trump when he is currently directly involved in a genocide. That is not some little fucking thing. That in and of itself disqualifies him as a lesser evil. Biden is just as bad as him and he will not save us because he doesn't fucking care.
