Are you a student who is unable to donate to Palestine, but still want ways to show your support?
Me too! Unfortunately, searching up ways for students who can't drive, spend money, or drop school for a week to show solidarity for Palestine just comes up with "centrist" (if not blatantly pro-israel) articles for teachers telling them how to stay neutral during discussions with students. So! Here are some ways that I've thought of to bring pro palestine sentiment into your school and community! You are more than encouraged to add on any ideas of your own!
Wear shirts, pins, or anything outwardly pro palestine. If you can't find something, make it.
Email your representatives. Email Congress. Email the White House, or whatever your country's equivalent would be. Let the people in charge know you want a ceasefire
Talk to your local library about holding an educational night about the genocide, and/or about Palestinian culture.
Talk to your peers. Find people who share your views. Create a fuss together.
Talk to your teachers about it. Having an authority figure on your side could make things so much easier for you.
Make stickers, posters, pamphlets, etc to put up around your school, town/city, anywhere you can.
Educate yourself on anti-palestine talking points and how to refute them in a calm and logical manner. (Palestinian Toolkit is a great website for that)
Speak up! It's fucking scary, but if you can, don't let people's bigotry go unchecked. (You can use knowledge from the last point to make it easier to talk)
But also, know when to give up. It sucks, but not everyone is worth wasting your time debating. Some people won't change their mind no matter what.

To those of you feeling like all of your internet friends are screaming at you, you are not alone. It’s a bit of a clusterfuck right now, and the future looks very bleak considering the Supreme Court. It can be very easy to slip into despair. Don’t. While some people are trying to offer help, it can feel like your dashboard/feed/whatever is one huge trauma conga line. And it is. There’s a lot of people who don’t know what to do, so they’re reblogging everything that they feel is helpful all at once, while others are venting very legitimate frustrations and fears. But it can all be so very overwhelming being on the receiving end of it.
So do your best not to get overwhelmed. Step away. Take a break. Skip posts. I’m here to tell you, you can mute or unfollow people. You can set up filters. Do what you need to do in order to preserve your mental health so that you can function for the long haul.
Because it will be a long haul. A lot of posts are going to play up urgency. But take a minute, an hour, even a few days to shore up your mental health shields. You don’t have to do everything now. And it’s important to not get so overwhelmed that you end up doing nothing. Because doing nothing is what got us here.
Remember that some people have different responses to trauma. Some fight, some freeze, and some flee. All are valid and all need to do different things.
There are lots of resources if you are looking to fight... you don’t need a list from me. Your dash/feed is probably full of helpful lists. And there’s always googling if for some miraculous reason it isn’t.
If you are frozen, step away for today. The problem will still exist tomorrow. If you feel stuck tomorrow and don’t know what to do, make a list of 3-10 options suggested by all of the reblogs/retweets/etc. and assign them a number. Then go to Random.org and randomize what ONE thing you will do. If you really hate it, you know that isn’t a viable option for you. Keep doing that until you find ONE thing that you can do.
If you need to flee, flee. Take the time you need to get your bearings. Then, when you feel safer, find ONE thing to do that you feel safe doing.
This is a battle that is going to be won in inches. And I’m going to tell you that if all of your troops are suffering from mental burnout/despair, then the other side will continue to win.
And that’s the last thing we want or need.
Okay... TL:DR over
Have a picture of Goose looking cute:

I will wear my clothes until they're literally falling apart. I will wear them until it's one thread holding it all together. And then I'll cut it up and make something new that brings me joy.

Idk if these have already been shared on here, but it doesn’t hurt to share them again so:
Here are three resources for keeping track of the boycott:
- boycotzionism.com
Search by brand/company as well as by industry. Shows you proof for all of the items on the list as well as some alternative brands for some of them.
Tumblr media
- Belzamesh
An app that allows you to search by brand and scan barcodes. Also provides sourcing as to why they’re on the list.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
- No Thanks
An app that allows you to search by brand, scan barcodes, and enter serial numbers. They just updated it, too (I use this one a lot)

These are just the three I know ab and use often. Reblog with more resources if you have them!

"They're coming closer again," said War.
THEN WE WILL DO WHAT WE CAN.
"Four swords against an army? That'll never work!"
YOU THOUGHT IT MIGHT A FEW MOMENTS AGO. WHO IS TALKING FOR YOU NOW? HUMANS HAVE ALWAYS FACED US AND THEY HAVE NOT SURRENDERED.
"Well, yes," said Pestilence. "But with us they could always hope for a remission."
"Or a sudden truce," said War.
"Or--" Famine began, and hesitated, and said finally: "A shower of fish?" He looked at their expressions. "That actually happened once," he added defiantly.
IN ORDER TO HAVE A CHANGE OF FORTUNE AT THE LAST MINUTE YOU HAVE TO TAKE YOUR FORTUNE TO THE LAST MINUTE, said Death. WE MUST DO WHAT WE CAN.
"And if that doesn't work?" said Pestilence. [...]
THEN WE DID WHAT WE COULD, he said, UNTIL WE COULD NOT.

it’s just hard for me to comprehend sometimes how some people can see the absolute horror that „livestock“ animals go through, the environmental destruction our overconsumption causes, the horrific working conditions of the people who make fast fashion….
and then somehow draw the conclusion that they themselves are the biggest victim in this situation, because someone has dared to suggest to them they try stop flying, stop eating animals, start buying second hand. I could just never….
and so many „left wing“ people from rich countries claiming that being asked to do this is somehow discriminatory, and „white colonialist“ and „classist“ like please be serious or stfu you just don’t want to have to question your own overconsumption 💀

From Dr. Mohammed Ayman's stories Nasser Hospital lost power and a 10 year little girl died in intensive care as a result.
Nasser is still besieged and IOF snipers are still terrorising anyone that moves in the complex. In Khan Younis. While Rafah is being bombed to the south. Earlier today people were leaving Rafah city but going where I don't know because nowhere is safe. Deir al-Balah is still being bombed. North Gaza is still being attacked and starved. The entire strip is under attack in multiple ways.
This is ethnic cleansing and genocide funded and fully supported by the US, UK and other western powers. I know there's a sense of hopelessness about it all but we must be steadfast in calling for an end to these crimes and genocide.

i'm so sick of seeing people talking about the baftas when there's a literal genocide going on. how can you ignore that? how can you sit back and think about anything else right now? it's just one week. david tennant in a kilt is pretty, yeah, but he'll still be here on the 25th. he's not going anywhere, i promise you (/lh)
stay safe and do what you can, but please don't stop talking about palestine! 🇵🇸🍉
edit: to clarify, i'm not angry at anyone for seeking normalcy right now (humans are not built to be under constant stress!!), but it scares me to open tumblr on the first day of strike week and see no posts about gaza. it's more important than ever to have eyes on palestine right now

Some points to ponder on supporting small businesses, just in time for the holiday shopping season and Small Business Saturday! ✨ Feel free to download & share these images.
When money's tighter than ever and there are plenty of big corporations to boycott, please consider your local & favorite small businesses if you can spend. 💞

No point dwelling on it. Focus on what you can do. Not what's already come to pass. You just have to keep going... Keep trying. You'll get there in the end.

PLEASE READ
I’m here asking for something serious. If you can, go see Sound of Freedom. It’s so important. I cannot stress exactly how much. It’s a difficult movie to watch, to be sure, but so relevant and so important. If your only holdup is the funds, go to angel.com. People are buying tickets and paying them forward so everyone has a chance to see this movie. If you have extra funds and feel led to, please pay it forward. Please help someone else to see this movie.
In case you don’t know, Sound of Freedom follows the story of Tim Ballard, a Homeland Security agent who goes above and beyond the call of duty—including quitting his job when it becomes a hindrance—to track down sex traffickers and save children sold into slavery.
The sex trafficking industry is a $150 billion dollar a year industry. That’s $411 million dollars a day. $285,417 every single second. It’s the fastest-growing industry in the world. It’s surpassed the illegal arms industry and is quickly closing in on the drug industry. After all, as it’s said in the movie, “You can sell coke once. You can sell a five-year-old girl five, ten times a day, every day, for ten years.”
There are more slaves today than any other point in time, including when slavery was legal. 38% of the world’s population is currently enslaved. This needs to end now. Please, go see the movie. Donate. Shout it from the rooftops or the street corners. Do whatever you can. If nothing else, help this post (and others like it) reach more people. Reblog. Make your own post about it. Do whatever you can. After all…
Could you sleep at night, knowing your child’s bed is empty?

The power of a clean, neat environment 🫧
Mental Health Talk 💜
I'm strong with the Spring cleaning these days!
A clean, neat (and honestly, also cute!) environment is so crucial for me to stay healthy both physically and mentally.
Like having a clean floor is so important for me to do my daily yoga. And a neat environment with scented candles creates a harmonious environment for journaling, colouring or doing any crafts.
Never take the power of clean, neat surroundings for granted. And I know it can be incredibly challenging to do any sort of cleaning or tidying up if you are not doing well mental health wise. Do just a tiny bit at at time if that's all you can manage and know that you did something good for yourself.
That's one very valuable act of self care and self love (even if you feel like you don't deserve it).
