Ok this doesn’t look right considering that this blog is at least 65% doctor and donna content, but similar to Cindy the words just aren’t on here. I need to find a better blorbo bingo. When I say most fandom takes are incorrect, I don’t think they’re egregiously incorrect, I just think that a lot of times she’s a lot more complex than people give her credit for. When I think about ten and Cindy I feel like I need to put them in a jar and shake it, but when I think of donna there is just a wave of peace.

#I LOVE ROSE. WITH ALLLL MY HEART. BUT I DONT THINK SHE IS THE MOST 'COMPASSIONATE' COMPANION OF THE THREE LOL#that goes to donna bc she's the bleeding-heart feels-deeply-about-everyone person that makes ten remember how that's a part of him too#'donna would do this occasionally' NO she does it in nearly every episode she is in and she like. shakes ten like ragdoll and says#no you cannot turn your back on this person because it's not right. and he KNOWS she's right. she makes him confront who he is/should be#also you have to be crazy or jus racist to find martha dull idc.#martha's whole deal is that she pushes aside making what she wants known to ten bc she knows he's in a downwards spiral and she feels#responsible to save him. bc that is who she is. the doctor's doctor. and she DOES save him hed be dead w/out her#but it takes her a whole season to realize that it's not her fault if he starts harming himself/others around him in his grief#what makes rose compelling to me is her fresh eyes. she hasnt been battered down like the doctor (particularly nine) has been#she is so painfully human and she shines a light into the doctor's soul and she Feels™ things. she reaches out to those like her.#bc that's what a 19 year old girl would do. she is SO quintessentially 19 year old girl. she can be both selfish/selfless and grows into#the latter as the show moves on. everyone loves when David Tennant does his sad boy screaming scenes. light spoilers for the second of the sixtieth specials. I am telling you what... I haven't felt like I was on an acid trip watching doctor who since 2014 LOL
this is one of two doctor who fics I'm gonna be putting out before Christmas!
***
When you find him, he's screaming. He's screaming loud and bold and raw and you wonder how his toes don't break from how hard he's kicking the tunnel walls.
You wonder what he saw. What the ganger said to him.
The Doctor had found you not long after he'd found Donna. It had been ten years since you had last seen him. Ten long years since you'd agonized over unrequited love and left him with nothing but a passing glance over your shoulder as you parted from the TARDIS.
Now he's come back, and that love you had buried for so long has come bubbling back to the surface.
You hate yourself for loving him.
You can't help it though.
It isn't until the screams fades into uneasy, tense silence that you dare to lift your eyes to meet his. There's a lot of turmoil in those eyes. He hasn't told you what happened in the ten years you've been apart. Not yet. You wonder if he ever will.
It's very clear that whatever he did, whoever he lost... wounded him. The Doctor may appear to be this cold, unyielding being of infinite wisdom and live. They may have called him The Oncoming Storm. The Valeyard.
He is not. Underneath that exterior is an ancient being longing for companionship. For somewhere safe to land when so often people use him as their safe place to land. Him. The hero.
But where do heroes go when the universe becomes too much for them to handle singlehandedly?
"Hey," You reach for his hand and hold it to your chest. His whole aspects softens at the gesture. This version of The Doctor is so much more open than the last time you saw him. So much more honest, vulnerable, so much more loving. "Are you... you?"
His gaze is questioning as you look at each other before he averts his gaze to the floor. You're getting closer. He's apprehensive, clearly, but The Doctor really wants you to take your fingers idle at your side and card them through his hair. "The last time I saw you," The Doctor murmurs. "You were leaving the TARDIS with the Smiths. Sarah Jane, it was. Said you were going to go make the world a better place-"
"In your honor," You admit. You don't miss how the hand pressed to your chest trembles at the remark, and something catches in his throat as you lift your idle hand to card your fingers through his hair. "Because you were the most remarkable man who'd ever come into my life. And I loved it. I loved you."
You're close enough now that you can feel him. All of him.
The Doctor exhales softly against your face as you lift his chin with your thumb so he'll finally meet your eyes. You're aching to know what has cut him so deeply. What he'll let you do in mending the damage to those ancient, broken hearts of his that have only ever been partially stitched.
Because every time a companion left, or they died, the stitches broke.
"Loved?" The Doctor asked.
Lifting yourself to your tiptoes, you tangle your fingers in the short hair and his nape and whisper, "Love."
And when you come together, he kisses you like a man who's been deprived of air for too long. You are what he needs to breathe.
And he is your safe spot to land.

thing about rose, for me, is that she wasn't there first -- this in a "she was first in nu!who in the sense that this was the first person to travel with nine, and the first person since the timewar, and the last person that nine was with, to the point that ten was born out of that experience/modelled on her."
and in that framing, I am a big fan of her haunting of the narrative, because it start outs with her placing herself inside the doctor's ribcage and rebooting their ability to want to feel things, but unfortunately rose is still a human, like every human the doctor travelled with before, it's just that the doctor forgot how to steel themself against that inevitability because of the circumstances around meeting rose
this is The thing that I find tragic about martha, because I think she could have been that person, if she'd been the first person post-timewar to travel with the doctor, but because she's coming in during bleeding-heart times, she's got to deal with triage instead. and yes, there are wonders, and yes, there are good times, but for a lot of it, it's shrapnel, and I think if it hadn't been, she would have had a very different attitude towards *waves hands* space and time travel and aliens and the universe (one where she wouldn't be the person trusted with something like the osterhagen key)
and donna had a sense of that Space the doctor was in post-rose (she canonically stopped the doctor from dying in runaway bride) and stepped away from it, and didn't get back to the doctor until some of that hole-in-chest had been bandaged up, which martha did a great job of, but didn't get to really benefit from, and I think that's the sad thing about martha jones, is that she absolutely got a taste of the beauty and the splendor, but never without all the violence and heave weight that was put onto her
which, again, she seems to have been very aware of, considering she joined UNIT and Torchwood. her eyes were barely ever rose tinted (no pun here) during her whole journey in the story. martha really is in my opinion the most tragic companion (that I've met so far, I know Adric straight up dies, but maybe he had some fun times before that?), because yes, donna loses her memories and rose is in a parallel universe, but that's more tragic for the doctor -- they've both built lives
in donna's case there's probably a lot of imperfection in that life, but clearly a lot of joy as well, with her and her husband and her kid and her mum, and I'm sure she'd have preferred to be the donna who saw the universe and was splendid, but martha never gets to forget, and has to continue her life one step out of sync of everything she could have been
which, maybe her life is pretty flipping fantastic, but we really don't know, which is the biggest thing I side-eye about the first nu!who era. that whole weird ending with the sontaran and mickey is like... anti-character work, it answers nothing and it makes very little sense
all I know about her at the end is that she more than anyone saw the doctor's life and became a soldier (still a doctor as well, but...) because that was the work she saw needed doing, and she's the kind of person who does what needs doing. but is she... okay? youknow?
but going back to the original point, is that framing martha through the lens of rose is all well and good in the sense that rose is the reason the doctor is at that emotional point when he meets martha -- although donna absolutely had a very big hand in that as well -- but once we've established that, martha's arc is martha's arc, and it's dull to me to frame it as the "rebound" arc or even particularly about alloromanticism (including -- and this is why i get why people do it in fandom -- some shit said by rtd, which is just less interesting than what I get out of it, so shhhh)
she's got so much going on, and her relationship with the doctor changes the trajectory of her life, and it's in many ways a more interesting and far less straightforward trajectory of bad-to-better that many companions get -- it's a wonderfully complicated narrative that (and again, I get that some of this comes from within deliberate framings of the text, even though I think it's more than open enough to do more with, death of the author and all that -- but certainly not all of this is text either, some of it is ignoring what is actually there) is done a disservice by not going through the real messed up fascinating extraordinary shit that's going on during her era + arc in s4
but also... is she ok? I want to know. it's one of my top three burning questions, since we're getting a bit of best-ofs of the noughties DW era, some of your crimes can be righted by a simple bit of martha mr davies

While Donna Noble will always be my favourite companion in NuWho, Clara will always be the most multi-faceted and complex (as of now). I think that a lot of divisiveness surrounding Clara stems from 5 common criticisms:
1. Clara’s characterisation in 7B and how Moffat treats her mostly as a mystery box first and character second.
2. The length of Clara’s tenure and how some may have been fatigued due to the many times “she should have left.”
3. The emphasis on Clara’s flaws in Series 8 and how it kind of paints her as unlikable over her Series 7B depiction as at least kind.
4. Clara’s departure in Hell Bent as something that ruins her ending in Face The Raven.
5. The belief of Clara as the most important character in the Doctors life inherently devaluing other companions.
I think while I can understand the reasons leading up to these criticisms, I also think that it does help to look back throughout the Moffat and RTD era as it does help explain a lot of these points imo.
Actually, the character Clara most prominently echoes is Rose. Rose, like Clara, helped the Doctor through a time of extreme emotional vulnerability (for 9th, Time War trauma) and developed a relationship of co-dependency with him (as 10th) which never really went away even after Doomsday. Clara had the luxury of time however, and has undergone more events with the Doctor (Impossible Girl, Trenzalore, 50th Anniversary etc) but also how 12th was undergoing an extreme identity crisis of figuring out whether he’s a good man post-Trenzalore and saving Gallifrey. Clara was the one who facilitated his character growth through the turbulence of the arc in instances like Dark Water, Death In Heaven, Mummy on The Orient Express, Kill The Moon, Last Christmas etc and would naturally result in the Doctor developing an extremely unhealthy reliance on Clara as being his “carer,” his anchor to being The Doctor (refer to her whole “Be A Doctor” spiel in the 50th Anniversary). Series 9 already heavily implied the Doctor’s willingness to engage with destructive measures by choosing to separate Clara and The Doctor almost every episode (Magicians Apprentice/Witch’s Familiar) as the stakes rose and cumulated in Face The Raven.
RTD has also once said when paying tribute to Moffat:
“And nestling at the heart of the show is Doctor Who's very own problem category, the Companion, a title inherently subordinate to the Man. Until Clara comes along!”
Imo, while poorly phrased, I think does also hit another nail on the head to explain how Clara can be so compelling to someone like me but also extremely polarising. RTD is talking less about the companion being “weaker” or “submissive” but how Clara is the NuWho companion that wishes to obliterate the boundaries between the power dynamic of companion/doctor. Series 8 for instances plays on the recurring motif of, “Do as you are told” which the Doctor firstly uses to threaten Clara to keep her safe. However, Clara actively retaliates by parroting the phrase back in an attempt to attain parity. This escalates to the events of Dark Water where she attempts to maintain control of her circumstances by forcing the Doctor to be on equal ground with her. What is so fascinating is that Clara while changing and emulating more of the Doctor’s heroism, she equally begins to absorb his flaws which intensify throughout Series 8-9. Clara becomes more deceitful, egotistical, reckless and cunning as she begins to become more and more like him. The means she lies to Danny, her ability to think more and more like him.
However, what people (fans and haters) also ignore is how nuanced the circumstances are. While Clara’s flaws become more heightened, it is also a fact that she wants to be like the Doctor because of his kindness and heroism. Episodes like Robots of Sherwood, Last Christmas or even Rings of Akhten reveal a lot about how Clara reveres the Doctor as a mythic and heroic figure. Clara’s attitudes towards the children in Forest Of The Night, Name Of The Doctor and Into The Dalek reveal that in spite of her ego and selfishness, she is someone who desires to help people. Thus, her desire to become the Doctor becomes more explainable. What a lot of people can’t really accept is that she can be both egotistical, reckless and kind at once. Her actions in Face The Raven were driven out of the fact that it came from a place of ignorance and impulsiveness (not stupidity, the Doctor would do something similar, it’s just that Clara did not have all the clues) in what she believed would be what the Doctor would do and that she was confident she could match the trickery of the Doctor, and yet it was also driven by her compassion towards Rigsby and her while impulsive, sincere desire to save her friend.
Clara is punished because of this, she forgets that she’s far too human. The Doctor is less breakable. She pays for it and as Ashildr says in Hell Bent:
“She died for who she was and who she loved. She fell where she stood. It was sad. And it was beautiful.”
She died due to her physical fragility, her ego, her ignorance, her impulsiveness/recklessness and yet she also died because she was too brave, she died like the Doctor, who she loved (literally look at how her arms were outstretched as though she was mid-regeneration and how the black smoke parallels the orange glow of regeneration). However, this leads to the fourth main criticism I prior stated, so how does one answer that in relation to her character?
The answer is what Clara does and what the Doctor says towards the end of Hell Bent. Clara after being extracted and is with the Doctor in the TARDIS, spies on him because she is instantly suspicious of his erratic behaviour. Again, Clara shows how much she has become like him, she immediately picks up that he is hiding something because she has begun to think like him. Of course, the Doctor was planning on wiping Clara’s memories similar to what he did to Donna. But what does Clara do? She immediately reverse the polarity of the device that the Doctor was going to use on her and challenges the Doctors actions. Clara states:
“Tomorrow’s promised to no one, Doctor. But I insist upon my past. I am entitled to that. It’s mine.”
Clara’s language indicates her assertiveness and also a kind of last hurrah in her game of parity. She is refusing to submit to the narrative of being reduced to merely a companion that the Doctor moves away from. But more importantly, the Doctor after pressing the device and is losing his memory, states:
“Run like hell because you always need to. Laugh at everything, because it’s always funny (…) Never be cruel and never be cowardly. And if you ever are, always make amends (…) Never eat pears. They’re too squishy. And they always make your chin wet. That one’s quite important. Write it down.”
I think on initial viewing when the show was airing, this wouldn’t make much sense but this really shows the crux of how Hell Bent completes Clara’s arc and the necessity of her resurrection. In Face The Raven, the Doctor tells Clara that she’s more breakable as she questions why she can’t be as reckless as him. However, now the Doctor is instead telling her what would later be repeated in Twice Upon A Time, his regeneration speech. In his eyes, Clara has succeeded in graduating from the Magicians Apprentice and into becoming the Magician herself. He’s instructing her how to properly be The Doctor. As I said, Clara was also motivated by her desire to be kind when she engaged in her reckless gambit but what is so wrong about the desire to be kind? And why should Clara be punished for it? Thus, while Clara MUST die, her final act of kindness at the end of her arc enables the Universe to allow for Clara’s final transformation into the Doctor.
Clara is still dead, it is an unchanged historical event. However, to challenge the status quo and allow for Clara’s ascension, Clara becomes a fairy tale herself. Her body is caught in a permanent form of stasis, signalling her departure from the limits of her physicality (subverting her physical fragility) but also as seen through her last words to the Doctor:
“You said memories become stories when we forget them. Maybe some of them become songs.”
Clara has successfully become what she admired, a myth, a fable. She has become a symbol in a story, a story that would go on to have an infinite number of other stories. She has become the leaf she raises to the monster in the Rings of Akhten, she sails off into narrative ambiguity but also infinity. Clara is so polarising because she challenges the definition of what it means to be The Doctor on a pure metatextual level. It’s a logical progression from the introspection of the question from the Doctor himself in Series 8. To want to resist, I argue, is natural.
I could explore further about her adrenaline addiction in Mummy On The Orient Express or these traits I raised explored in Flatline which I may do another day, but I hope I have provided a new perspective on Clara Oswald.

How to Get Your Friends into Doctor Who (2005) - A Guide
Tumblr media
Ok I really like Doctor Who, and of course I like introducing people to it, but oh my god do you forget how randomly terrible and/or cringy and/or uncomfortably Moffat-esque some of the episodes are, *especially* when you're watching it with someone who has no idea what to expect.
SO I made a list of ten episodes that I think would be the best loose sequence of episodes for a causal introduction to the show...
But first, some requirements:
It has to be a one-off (NO TWO-PARTERS), low commitment, etc
It can't require watching previous OR following episodes to be enjoyable
It needs to actually be good
It needs to represent Doctor Who well
In a social setting where you're showing a group of people an episode, most of these would be fine. Watching consistently with one person however, loosely follow this order, and if your person decides at any point that they want to commit to actually watching the show, skip straight back to The End of The World and watch Series 1. Ok list time...
1. Rose (S1, E01)
Tumblr media
I think Rose is the perfect episode of Doctor Who to start on. It's campy, it's fun and weird and it sets up almost everything you need to know for the Revival Era. You get the companion, the Doctor, regular Doctor Who tropes and themes, etc. Plus, if they can't get past the Mickey bin scene, this show probably isn't for them anyway.
2. Dalek (S1, E06)
Tumblr media
Skipping a few episodes into Series 1, Dalek is a great way to get a feel for the format of the show, and also a great and intentional introduction to the Daleks. The Doctor and the companion turn up in a mysterious place and have to battle an alien force and really unlikeable one-off side characters, the works basically. It's a fun monster-movie of an episode.
3. Vincent and The Doctor (S5,E10)
Tumblr media
Jumping a whole five series forward, Vincent and The Doctor is a notoriously heart-wrenching historical that I think is a classic (if a little indulgent) example of Doctor-meets-famous-historical-figure. It's nice to jump to a different Doctor and a different era of the show, to get a feel for its' diversity. Although there's a few moments relevant to the greater series plot, it's contained, very pretty, very sweet, and easy to understand.
4. Midnight (S4, E10)
Tumblr media
Midnight just feels like an essential episode to be honest. A fantastic one-off sci-fi horror/thriller, with one of David Tennant's best performances, a great introduction to the 10th Doctor. It's a shame you don't get more Donna, but I think this one would be my go-to if someone asked for the best episode to watch stand-alone, just based on how genuinely great it is.
5. Heaven Sent (S9, E11)
Tumblr media
Jumping to Series 9 with another critically-acclaimed episode, but also one that I think is an amazing introduction to the 12th Doctor. Heaven Sent is a little unconventional, and I'm not 100% sure it should be here, but it does give Capaldi a whole episode to just act his ass off, and he completely delivers. It's artsy, mysterious and dramatic, very much the high concept sci-fi style of Moffat's later scripts, so I think an appropriate watch.
6. The Voyage of The Damned (2007 Special)
Tumblr media
If you're not in a festive mood, try The Lodger or Demons of the Punjab instead
The Christmas episodes are too iconic not to show, and as far as Christmassy vibes, celebrity cameos and whimsical concepts go, this one is a fun one. This is David Tennant in his prime, with Kylie Minogue, a massive budget and a romp of a script.
6. Blink (S3, E10)
Tumblr media
I mean, duh, but genuinely I think Blink is just *too good* not to include. A tense, creepy, tightly-written piece of horror TV with twists and turns and drama, it's considered the best episode of Doctor Who for a reason, and along with Midnight is an amazing stand-alone episode. It's not super conventional, but all the timey-wimey stuff is very Doctor Who.
6. The Mummy on The Orient Express (S8, E08)
Tumblr media
If you're a Tennant stan you could swap this out for The Planet of the Dead
This one is just a fun one really. The Mummy on The Orient Express is stylish and fun, with a cool concept and a little peek into a more complex Doctor-companion relationship. With a short explanation you can get the context pretty easily, and it's a good example of your typical episode anyway.
HOWEVER if you have time, there's a bunch of two-parters you should watch instead, like The Family of Blood, The Empty Child, Silence in the Library, even Extremis.
9. The Haunting of Villa Diodati (S12, E10)
Tumblr media
Finally some 13th Doctor rep! This one has some of the strongest writing in the Chibnall era, and is a fun horror mystery that serves as a fun introduction to Jodie Whittaker as the 13th Doctor. It has a little bit of series-wide arc, but that's okay.
10. The Church on Ruby Road (2023 Special 4)
Tumblr media
If your person liked all those episodes but still doesn't want to watch 13 seasons of TV, just abandon ship and watch the 2023 Christmas special in preparation for Series 14 (or Season 1) in Spring 2024. The Church on Ruby Road is the beginning of the latest soft reboot of the show and has been explicitly created as a jumping on point for new fans. Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson absolutely shine in this special, it's fun and silly and in my opinion bodes very well for the next season of Doctor Who...
"in 900 years of time and space, I've never met anyone who wasn't important" - Bannakaffalatta
I hope that was a success! After all those episodes hopefully you either had a good time with whoever you were watching it with, or you've already moved onto Series 1! I'll be trying this out the best I can with my girlfriend this year, so look out, because I may be back with adjustments later...

guys i just watched the first two episodes with the fourteenth doctor and donna and let me tell you. I was grinning ECSTATICALLY the whole time. my crops are watered my face is clear my wibbly wobbly is timey-wimey and it is 2014 again. my favorite doctor-companion duo, and the fear of losing each other and the joy of reuniting and the thrill of the adventure!!!
they damn near gave me a heart attack with insinuating for a moment that Wilf was no longer with them because that old man owns my entire heart. Also Rose???? I would die for her she is wonderful and awesome and amazing. Meep reminds me of Meap from Phineas and Ferb. Donna has never been more relatable. My arms are too long? You bet they are. The world is ending and I couldn't be happier.
Tune in for Jess watches the next couple of episodes and bursts into tears next week on the BBC!

First let me say I love your work!! You write everyone so well and I love it lots. Second off I was wondering if you’d be comfortable doing some hcs for the four lords with an autistic reader? I’m still coming to terms with my diagnosis and what my support needs are, and sometimes I worry that characters wouldn’t like me if they found out I was autistic (even if that sounds silly,,). How do they deal with/interact with the echolalia, the sensory seeking, the meltdowns, the overstimulation, eye contact issues - the whole nine yards?? I’m so sorry if I got carried away I’m really excited to see this !!
I can try! I hope I get this right and you enjoy it!😁💖 I know very little about autism, so thanks for giving some examples to use XD
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Four Lords with an Autistic S/O Headcanons
Tumblr media
Alcina Dimitrescu
-I feel like Alcina would try her very hardest to accommodate your needs but also getting things wrong a lot of the time. She just doesn't understand and hasn't ever been around someone with autism, so she struggles.
-She's probably best when it comes to you avoiding eye contact because it really doesn't affect anything in either of your lives. It makes you uncomfortable, she understands and respects it.
-Alcina has her three daughters comfort you during any meltdown or overstimulation because they have the minds of therapy dogs. She tends to avoid those moments because she doesn't want to lose her temper. You wouldn't deserve that because you can't always help it.
-However, she will always defend your honor and needs.
-If you want something, she will find some way to get it no matter how ridiculous it is. After all, getting what she wants is her specialty. It may be hard for her to deal with some of your symptoms, but she tries to make you comfortable.
-Will get you the biggest stuffed bear if you ask for it.
-And if Heisenberg or anyone dares make fun of you, she will go claws out to protect you and keep you as happy as possible, even if she struggles on how sometimes.
Tumblr media
Donna Beneviento (and Angie)
-Donna is probably the most understanding out of the four lords because she herself has behaviors that some consider odd. Sure, she isn't an expert on autism, but she doesn't need to be. She just gets you and flows with whatever happens.
-Nothing really bothers her. She could care less about eye contact because she herself struggles with it. In fact, who knows, Donna herself could be a little bit autistic as well.
-Donna handles any meltdowns you have like a champ. She gets anything you need, comforts you, leaves you alone, whatever you need, and she doesn't get flustered or overwhelmed doing it. Angie might but Donna doesn't.
-But any overstimulation you have is where she shines.
-Too bright? You'll get darkness. Too loud or too quiet? Donna will fix that as well. Her estate is the perfect location to deal with it because she can make it dark and serene in an instance. Or the opposite. There isn't much ever going on at her place.
-And who knows, perhaps her hallucinogenic flower garden might make you feel a bit better.
-The other lords know better than to say anything about you. Because an attack at you is an attack at Donna, and they don't dare take that risk.
Tumblr media
Salvatore Moreau
-Right next to Donna when it comes to respecting your condition and loving you regardless of anything. Hell, he wouldn't have any right to be judgmental of anything because he's been bullied more times than he count. Perhaps that's why he wears his heart on his sleeve.
-Like most of the other lords, he knows next to nothing about autism. Sure, he was a doctor, but not in that department. Perhaps that makes him such a good person because he doesn't have any preconceptions about it. Moreau just knows you have some quirks and learns to deal with them.
-To be honest though, while he's not judgmental or adverse to you, it takes him a while to learn and understand. If you have a meltdown, Moreau probably will as well. It's just his reaction or maybe his way of expressing sympathy.
-Unlike the others though, he goes above and beyond to push himself to learn and take good care of you.
-He knows his accommodations aren't rightly suited for your health, so he tries to DIY an area that would make you most comfortable. This is all due to the extensive reading he did.
-Moreau still has that doctor mentality to care for you no matter how much work it would require.
-In the end, he actually becomes the most knowledgeable out of his fellow lords. Moreau is probably the most caring and understanding out of everyone, and you know you are going to be loved and just fine by his side.
Tumblr media
Karl Heisenberg
-So, if Moreau is the most caring out of the four lords, Heisenberg has to be the least caring. It's less of a preconceived notion and more of a "I don't have time for this" notion. He knows what autism is, but you require more attention than he can give.
-There has been times when he's raised his voice or yelled over things that you can't control, like a meltdown of some sort. He has to distance himself from you after that because he truly does feel bad, but he doesn't know how to say it.
-Heisenberg has anger issues, we all know this. This is why he distances himself from you while trying to figure out how to care for you at the same time. He really just doesn't know how.
-Sometimes, he wonders if this is the right situation for you to be in. You need care that he just can't give you.
-But overtime, he realizes that he needs to sure as hell try because while you have meltdowns, overstimulation, and struggle to talk to him at some points, there's a part of you that brings positive energy to his life. Call him selfish, but he needs that.
-Maybe that's why he gets angry sometimes. It has nothing to do with you, but rather at the situation. He wants you, but knows you need better.
-Despite all the stress you guys are both under, you know he cares because he gets so protective. He keeps you in the safe serene living space of his factory and will kill the others if they bring up anything about you to him. At the end of the day, he's here for you.

“My face. I think I know why I chose it. I know where I got this face, and I know what it’s for. To remind me. To hold me to the mark… I’m The Doctor. And I save people.”
Tumblr media
Back again, just finished, “Doctor Who,” Series 9 Episode 5, “The Girl Who Died,” and therefore, I just finished crying. This episode is my favorite of Capaldi’s run so far— so much heart in this one. In what could have been a cheesy, off the beaten path, “throw away” episode— we get the most important story of The Twelfth Doctor’s so far. The first time he (tremendously) breaks the rules.
This episode rides on the coattails of Series 8’s opener, “Deep Breath,” while also recontextualizing Series 4’s sophomore episode, “The Fires of Pompeii,” showing us why Twelve chose his new face… the words of Donna Noble telling the Tenth Doctor, “Not the whole town. Just save someone.” And who is that someone?
Tumblr media
If that doesn’t move you, if that doesn’t hit you like a truck— there’s something fundamentally wrong with you because this is BRILLIANT. This is such good Doctor Who writing— I’m in awe. Brilliant. Series 9 has not disappointed at all— really can’t wait to see what’s in store for the rest of the Series.
As always— No spoilers!

As a small prompt idea.. maybe RE8 women and what they’d do if their s/o was sick?
Oh yeah I can do that! Let's get into it:
Alcina:
At the first sign of you being sick, she immediately sends you to bed. You're tucked in tightly after given a dose of medicine.
She remembers how it was when she was sick as a human and it worries her but she does her best not to show it.
Has the maids wash everything in the castle top to bottom, she won't have any germs lingering about that could make you sicker.
She does her work quickly so she may come be by your side, giving you kisses on your forehead to soothe you when she joins you in bed.
She has your favorite soup prepared for you, fresh bread made to dip into it.
When she must leave your side due to a meeting or being called by Mother Miranda, she has her girls watch over you.
Any little thing you need she makes sure you have.
Makes sure to have several blankets on hand for when you get cold.
Dots your forehead with a cool cloth to try and help bring down your fever if you have one.
If you take a turn for the worse she practically begs Mother Miranda for her help.
If instead you get better, she breathes a sigh of relief before curling you up in her arms.
"Draga mea, please refrain from getting sick. I don't think my heart can take it."
Even though you are well again, she dotes on you a little longer. Just incase.
Donna:
When one of her dolls report to her that you're acting a little sluggish and coughing she immediately goes to find you.
"Cara mea, come to bed. You need to rest." She says, leading you to your room.
She piles blankets upon you, knowing that the house can be a little to drafty at times. She also closes the curtains so you can find sleep a little easier.
Once she sees that you're all tucked in and settled she heads toward her garden and greenhouse to gather the necessary supplies to make your medicine and favorite teas.
Her dolls keep an eye on you for her, letting her do her work with peace knowing you were okay for now.
When you wake she is there with bowl of soup, medicine, and a glass of water. Donna makes sure you take it all, even helping you spoon the soup into your mouth.
She holds you for a while, letting you doze against her chest. Brushing hair from your face to help soothe you.
Donna makes sure you take your medicine on a strict routine, she doesn't want you to get any sicker.
If she needs help she first consults Moreau, knowing he used to be a doctor. And if that fails her, she brings you to Mother Miranda. She hopes it doesn't come down to you taking the Cadou but if push comes to shove she'd rather ask your forgiveness than your permission.
If you get better she's so thankful, it honestly feels like the whole manor gives a sigh of relief.
She does her best from then on to keep you healthy.
Bela:
She's seen many of the maids sick before and she never really cared. Sure it annoyed her, because sick maids were no fun to pick on. But she never really thought much about it......until you got sick.
It frightened her a little, the way your temperature spiked, the sweat that broke out upon your brow even though you kept insisting that you were cold.
She brought you to her room, tucking you into her bed after stripping you from your old clothes and putting something softer on you.
She fetched medicine for you herself, giving you the appropriate dose before insisting you rest.
Bela stayed by your side as you slept, reading a book and every few pages looking over you to assure herself that you would be okay.
When you wake she has your favorite soup made and brought to you. She makes sure you drink plenty of water as she read it was important for you to stay hydrated.
She piles on every blanket she can find on you if you say you're cold, even stoking her fireplace and adding wood to it to make the room warmer.
Her mother comes in to check on the both of you, assuring her daughter that you would be fine while you dozed.
She's never far from you while your recovering, making sure you don't do anything strenuous.
And once you get better she nearly cries, you have to hold her and assure her that everything is okay. And if she spends the next couple of days in your arms, neither of you say anything about it.
Cassandra:
She's come up behind you to wrap her arms around you when she hears you cough. It was an ugly sound that rattled in your chest.
Quickly she grabs you and swarms you off to her room. She worries at how warm you are, knowing that it means a fever.
She covers you up with thick blankets and stokes her fire hotter.
Cassandra has watched sickness ravage the bodies of her prey and she refuses to let that happen to you.
She grabs the nearest maid and snarls for her to bring you medicine, threatening to chop off her hand if she didn't do it quickly.
She has water and juice brought to you to drink, knowing that you needed to stay hydrated.
She only leaves your side when you sleep, but even then it's only for something quick as she's afraid to leave you for long.
When you wake she has something warm and soft for you to eat, she does her best to coax you to finish the bowl or plate.
If you get worse, she asks Donna for help and if you go to far she goes directly to Mother Miranda.
If you get better she's quite glad you're on the mend, though she does say you aren't allowed to get sick again.
Daniela:
When she found that you were sick she pulls you away and to a warm bath with eucalyptus in it. She had prepared it beforehand for you.
Once she's seen that you're done bathing, she helps dress you in comfy clothes before pulling you to bed.
While in bed she curls herself around you, pressing soothing kisses to your temples.
She makes sure that you take your medicine and drinks plenty of fluids.
Out of her sisters she's the calmest while you're sick, of course she makes herself only focus on that you were going to get better.
She makes sure you at least take a shower each day you're sick. She even holds you in the spray if you don't feel like standing.
If you get worse she takes you directly to Donna and from there she begs Mother Miranda to help you.
If you get better she simply smiles before saying "I knew you'd never leave me. You love me to much."
Mother Miranda:
This woman, bless her, is terrified of you getting sick. In her mind sickness equals death and she can't bare the thought of you dying.
So when she finds that you're sick, she panics on the inside.
She sends you to bed, saying that she'll be there in a little bit.
Knowing she'll never be able to work while being worried about you she heads towards the kitchen to make your favorite soup.
When she comes into the room, she's both glad and a little sad that you're asleep. On one hand it's good you're resting, your body needs to heal. On the other hand she hates that she's going to have to wake you to take your medicine.
Gently she wakes you, helping you sit up and take your dose and eat a few bites of soup. She wishes you would eat more but she knows how one's stomach can feel when sick.
She curls herself around you, tucking a couple wings over the both of you. Her mind is whirling with thoughts of Eva and thoughts of you dying. Her grip on you tightens just a little and it takes some time to push those thoughts out of her head.
When your fever spikes she is there with a cool rag; wiping your brow, neck, and chest. If it keeps going up she pulls you into a cool bath, holding you in her arms. Her heart breaks when you whine about being cold while in the bath.
"I know my love, I know. But your fever is up, we have to get it down. I promise I'll get you warm in a bit."
Once out of the bath she makes sure you're dressed warmly and tucks you back in bed.
If you get worse she nearly begins to lose it. She can't lose you, she WON'T lose you. While she wishes she could have your permission for what she's about to do but she resolves that she'd rather ask for your forgiveness later.
If you get better she, in a rare moment of showing emotions, hugs you to her and cries out of relief.
And if you pass it's said that the entire village heard and shook with her pained screams and cries as she held your limp body in her arms.

the noble conversations
carer of the stars
I had an idea to write down every single conversation that takes place in the house Noble now that the Doctor is leaving with them, but we'll see how that goes. For now, I just got my own heart broken over Wilf and Fourteen, so here you are <;3
Mind you, it's all dialog. It's a thing. Whatever.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Anything good up there?" "Oh! Doctor!" "Wi-ilf! My marvelous friend. Got you a new thermos." "Ohh, you shouldn't have! Come sit, I was just about…" "And a new blanket. This one always keeps you warm! See? Got actual light-threads of Aurora Borealis woven into it, like, actual light threads! Did you know the northern lights are really magnificently warm? Ain't it just brilliant?" "Ohhh, ho-ho… It sure sparkles! The northern lights?" "Northern as they come!" "From the actual thingy? You're not saying those are aliens?" "Well… not in itself– I mean if you– Sometimes– Oh, nevermind. A warm alien blanket for the most dedicated starkeeper!" "Thank you, my friend. Oh, but it is wonderful to have you back!" "Ha-haa!" "And the thermos? Some clever thing as well? You never seem to run out of them, I say!" "Oh! Well, it's just a thermos. Sorry. Should have thought of something… Donna Kerblam-ed it today." "Ker-what?" "Oh, you know. Got it from the thing, the what's-its-name. Amazon, whatever. Same difference. Although why call a delivery service after the forests, the warrior tribe, and the fifth wettest lake in the non-gravitational space, I will never understand. So yeah… Just a thermos, really. She says yours never keeps enough warmth." "Well, this one will. Come on, sit with me a moment, keep the old man company. I was just saying hello to the skies. Been a while, yes it has." "I'm sure they missed you, too." "Oh, Doctor. Always know a thing to say." "No, I'm serious! The stars remember, Wilf. They certainly remember you, you've kept… a brilliant watch. Watched them all when nobody else bothered to look." "Ha! Says you, who travelled them. Nuh, I'm good with my personal favorites. Shame I can't see the rest, though." "Well–" "No, that's alright. Hush, Doctor. Not in the travelling form these days." "Well, I could… Hold on." "What is it? What are you doing?" "Take a look." "Oh… Oh!.." "Beautiful, ain't it?" "Doctor! But what?.. How?.." "Sli-ightly enhanced the perception abilities of your telescope, resonated the image. Added a few filters. The universe is enormous, Wilf. Now you can see it. So many more stars to meet." "Doctor…" "Oh, no! I meant it as a good thing! You still have time, I promise you that! Oh. Wait. Ohh! Happy tears. Happy tears, right. Sorry, I'm rubbish at–" "Thank you, my friend. My dear, dear friend, thank you for everything." "Thank you. For just as much." "And I mean it, Doctor. It's wonderful to have you back." "That's the thing, though. I don't want to be wonderful. I mean, not the Time Lord wonderful. I mean, not all the time. I just… want to be. With all of you." "She did get you home, didn't she?" "Yeah… She really did." "Well, I always said, I always told her she's amazing. And she missed you terribly. Heart-breaking, Doctor. I was heart-breaking to watch her. So much sadness, and nowhere to put it. Carried it around, like luggage. Never understanding– No, I know. Don't have to explain it. Just trust me, Doctor, because I've been here. I had a duty of watching, if nothing else. With you home, it's so, so much better." "A duty of care…" "What was that?" "No, it's just– Just something I used to say. Nevermind. I think you're the best man I've ever had the pleasure of meeting, Wilfred Mott. The watcher and the carer of the stars." "My Donna's a whole galaxy." "Ha! Yes, she is. And so are you." "And you, Doctor. Welcome to the family." // "So, how are the new stars, Wilf?" "Marvelous... Just marvelous." "I could tell you stories about them." "Could you really? About all of them?" "About all of them. One night at a time. That's a promise."

My thoughts on the trans rep in "The Star Beast"
This episode is haunted by the spectre of Good Representation™. Representation is a topic too expansive and nuanced for me to interrogate fully, so I'll just say I'm sceptical of the approach and the way it reduces trans (or otherwise marginalised) characters to plot points or blandly by-the-book portrayals. Also the idea that any single character can accurately represent an entire demographic is tenuous. Anyway.
Throughout the episode there's a huge focus on how beautiful Rose is, which is... I mean, I'd hardly be the first person to point out how Weird people (cis people especially) can get about how trans people look. And I get that this is probably a deliberate attempt to counter transphobia, to stress that trans people are cherished and deserve the world. It is a sweet sentiment I suppose, but it can come across as a bit... insincere? patronising? fetishistic, even? You have to recognise that correlating a person's worth with how beautiful you think they are is problematic in and of itself.
I actually really like the scene where Sylvia is stumbling on pronouns and worrying about whether or not it's okay to call Rose gorgeous. It's cute. It's genuine. I wasn't sure about the boys on bikes scene that preceded it – I thought deadnaming Rose was a clumsy way to establish that she's trans – but I've watched the episode again and my opinion has softened. I think it works well to have the malicious misgendering side-by-side with the accidental misgendering, showing that, yes, there is a difference. I know this already, but cis people who get confused about terminology and etiquette might benefit from watching this.
Speaking of pronouns... haha. Yeah, I did not like the "are you assuming he as a pronoun?" "my chosen pronoun is the definite article" exchange. Very awkward and nonsensical. It could have worked with some tweaking, but as it stands it feels more like a transphobic joke than actual dialogue. Ditto "male-presenting Time Lord."
Side note: why are some people so thrown off by the Doctor's gender? It's really not that complicated. The Doctor's pronouns vary depending on whether we're talking about an individual incarnation or the Doctor as a whole, encompassing all incarnations. If we're talking about a specific Doctor, they've all been he/him so far except for the Thirteenth and Fugitive Doctor (both she/her). If we're referring to all Doctors as one entity, it makes sense to use they/them since they're not consistently one gender or another. The Doctor is technically nonbinary I guess but only because they have the ability to regenerate into any gender. They're genderfluid only if you squint.
ANYWAY.
Is Rose nonbinary? Again, the "binary, binary, nonbinary" line just felt like a joke. Plus it doesn't make a lot of sense as a plot point/reveal. Rose's gender shouldn't actually be relevant because what's important for the meta-crisis thing is that she's Donna's offspring. There's also the fact that Rose had been presented as a trans girl until that point – no indication that she's nonbinary. Yes, it is possible to be a nonbinary girl, but it seems more likely to me that RTD just thinks nonbinary and trans are synonymous. Which is not the case.
The thing is, as I've alluded to already, Rose is an example of trans rep written by cis people for cis people. RTD's heart is in the right place, for sure, but he doesn't really know what he's talking about. I would say I appreciate the effort? But I don't know what the effort was in aid of exactly. I suppose it's nice for cis people to be told it's okay to stumble on pronouns sometimes, and to be shown that transness isn't a horrible and scary thing. I dunno. It's frustrating that trans people in life and in fiction have to educate and inspire and reassure cis people all the time... but we live in a society, don't we? And I'm sure there will be plenty of young trans people thrilled to see someone like them on TV, even if the execution could have been better.

At the end of the day, there is a reason 10's face came back, and that is literally just to say goodbye to NuWho. The 15th Doctor is a complete reboot, RTD has said it himself. But coming from a character standpoint, there was reasoning for it. 14 still had all of 10's qualities. Now, he wasn't as cold as 10, he was more open and not afraid to be affectionate, but even then he still carried the same amount of shame on his shoulders and tortured himself with his trauma. To be honest, 14 seemed tired.
Bumbling about the internet, I have seen people bring up the Metacrisis Doctor when it comes to this finale, but the difference between this bi-generation and the metacrisis was the fact that the metacrisis was a two way thing. Donna became a Time Lord and the version of him that came from both Donna and 10's hand is completely human with quite a bit of her personality in him, and the bi-generation is literally just two of the exact same Time Lords. And that's it.
And to be honest, in some ways 10 wanted to have his cake and eat it. A part of him wanted to settle down and also be a Time Lord, because let's face it, he'd never be able to say goodbye to that life he's lived for all those many years, he even said that when Donna and 15 told him to let go and he was scared. And more proof of that was in series 2's School Reunion episode (which is one of my all time favourites) when Rose confronted him on why he never mentioned Sarah Jane, and then later on in the series finale of 4 where he and DoctorDonna leave the Metacrisis Doctor behind with Rose. He loved Rose, always had, but he knew it would break his heart to see her grow old and die, so really the Metacrisis Doctor got to have his happy end because he was human.
I think 15 was the part of the Doctor that still had the urge to keep going and wanted to be finally free from the pain of the past. Every Doctor has their own personalities and ways of coping with things, and I think 15 just wants to be carefree and happy and that's just what I get from the trailer for Christmas special where he is literally in a club dancing so freely... something we've never seen from the Doctor before.
I won't lie though, I don't understand the issue with it being Donna he gets to have that happy end with. He couldn't have it with Martha, she has Mickey and her family, Sarah Jane has been dead for a long time, he never got to truly know the Bannerman Road Gang, and Jack is out there doing things with Torchwood, so he couldn't have gone with any of them either, and the rest of the companions in NuWho are pretty much dead. So, why not Donna?
It's said by quite a few characters during the 10th Doctor era that he never stays, and he'll even admit multiple times he'll keep on running. And after losing Rose, we all saw how he just ran faster and grew darker. Martha gave him a phone so she could keep in contact with him, and what did he do? He denied the fact that he even had a phone when it rang and Donna asked questions about it. And let's face it, if the universe hadn't pulled him and Donna together for them to meet again, he would never have seen her again after the Racnoss. She offered him Christmas dinner with her and her family and he just didn't.
Overall, every companion of 10's all have their happy ends except for her. Yes, Donna has a family and she loves them dearly, but for those 15 years she felt that something was missing. So, she didn't really get a happy end because she had no closure and it plagued her and her family. But now here she is and 14 here is, happy because they both have closure. So, I don't know... It just seems rather fitting to me.
At the end of the day, this whole thing was just finally letting this face of the Doctor, this version of himself who's most damaged and tired, just be happy.

I'm back! Initial thoughts for first Doctor Who special:
1. The Doctor called Donna his best friend in the whole wide universe and I'm still processing that.
2. Cute things can be evil.
3. Being loved for who you are and loving others for who they are can give you strength you never knew you had.
4. There better be merch released in the form of Rose's soft toy monsters.
5. Shaun Temple is a legend.
6. Sylvia Noble is also a legend.
7. The new TARDIS is swish and I love it.
8. How is the TARDIS bothered by coffee spilling on the console?
9. If it was bothered by coffee, why is there a coffee machine on the console?
10. What if it isn't coffee?
11. If it isn't coffee what would have happened if Donna had drunk it?
12. Wheelchair gun!!!
13. Rose and Donna actually told the Doctor to 'let it go'.
14. Donna actually told him "It doesn't always need to be a big goodbye, you know...come back and visit."
15. He thought Wilf had died and you could see his heart break.
16. Donna was SOOOOO mad at The Doctor when he woke her up. The first thing she said was "I gave away all my money you Ahole!"
17. I need to go back and check the words he used to wake her up. I assume this has been done already.
18. Doctor and Donna are back baby!!!
Edit, missed one:
19. Binary gender is a human concept.

'David Tennant and Catherine Tate pay tribute to Bernard Cribbins after his posthumous appearance in Doctor Who's 60th anniversary special, "Wild Blue Yonder." In the special, Cribbins briefly reprises his role as Wilfred Mott, the grandfather of Donna Noble (Tate) and longtime friend of the Doctor (Tennant). Sadly, Cribbins passed away on July 27, 2022, making his return as Mott his final TV appearance. He first began portraying the character in 2007 alongside Tennant's Doctor, which adds an emotional layer to their 60th anniversary reunion.
While appearing on Doctor Who: Unleashed, Tennant and Tate paid tribute to their late Doctor Who 60th anniversary co-star following the premiere of "Wild Blue Yonder." Tennant describes how "delighted" they were when they learned Cribbins was returning for the special, while Tate explained that she and Tennant had grown up watching Cribbins' works as children. Check out their statements below:
Tennant: We were beyond delighted when we knew that Bernard was going to be able to come back. It means so much to me, personally, and I think to the show as a whole, really, that he was there. That character meant so much to so many people.
Tate: Bernard will always, obviously, hold a very special place in my heart, because he always did, even before I knew him, because David and I kind of grew up with watching Bernard on TV, and he was the voice of the Wombles and loads of stuff that would define our childhood. And so having him play my grandad was amazing.
Bernard Cribbins' Doctor Who Legacy
Cribbins left behind quite a legacy following his decades-long career, in which he appeared in notable works such as The Railway Children and Frenzy. Additionally, as Tennant described, he held a special place in the Doctor Who universe. His experience with the franchise actually began back in 1966 when he starred in Daleks' Invasion Earth 2150 A.D. The film wasn't canon to the Doctor Who TV series, but it was inspired by the show and marked Cribbins' first stint as a companion of the Doctor. Little did he know that over 41 years later, he'd become an official Doctor Who companion.
Cribbins first appeared in Doctor Who as Mott in the Christmas special "Voyage of the Damned." He was running a newspaper stand in London and was revealed to be one of the few residents remaining in the city over the holidays despite all the extraterrestrial happenings. The Doctor teleported away then, leaving Mott perplexed. However, that wasn't the end of the story. He returned in Doctor Who season 4, episode 1, "Partners in Crime," where it's revealed he is Donna's grandfather. With his interests in astronomy and alien conspiracy theories, he wholeheartedly supports Donna's desire to travel the world with the Doctor.
Occasionally joining their adventures, Mott fought Daleks, made daring escapes, and later helped save Donna's life by ensuring she wouldn't remember the Doctor. However, he was drawn to the Doctor again in "The End of Time" and became his temporary companion. Ultimately, the Doctor sacrifices his life to save Mott, a decision the Time Lord never regretted. "Wild Blue Yonder" brings Mott's story full circle as it's revealed his faith in the Doctor never wavered. His Doctor Who story ends with his reunion with the Doctor and his hope that the world will be saved again.
Note
Showrunner Russell T Davies has confirmed Mott will be mentioned in the final Doctor Who 60th anniversary special, but he won't appear onscreen as Cribbens only filmed one scene.'

Sorry but here be Doctor Who spoilers, don’t click the more thing unless you’ve seen it.
Seriously don’t click if you’ve not watched it already.
Watch it and then come back.
You have been warned! ⚠️⚠️⚠️
Awesome stuff from this episode go:
- First things first, Soho 1925?
I was half expecting Aziraphale to appear on that street somewhere. Also the toy shop gave me magic shop vibes from Good Omens.
- Bonnie Langford!! 🙌
She has the most amazing hair!
- The Doctor’s speech about how people are cruel and destroy everything… powerful stuff right there.
- I loved Donna negotiating with Kate Lethbridge-Stewart for decent pay and 5 weeks holiday. You go girl!
- That lovely moment when the Doctor and Donna had their heart to heart and she called him an idiot (affectionate).
- Scary fucking dolls!!! 😱😱😱
I loved Donna totally wrecking shit up and scaring off the babbies.
- The:
“Donnaaaaaaaaa!”
“I’m already running!”
- The whole Spice Up Your Life sequence where Neil Patrick Harris just went HAM.
- Neil Patrick Harris just in general.
- The part where the Doctor got shot with the laser. I was like “Nooooooooo!” 😱
- The “Oh here it comes” moment where Donna and Mel hold his hands and are like “It’s okay we’re here”
-…. Only for it to be A TOTAL FAKE OUT!!!
Fuck me my heart was pounding right here.
- Bigeneration!!! He friggin’ split in two like an amoeba.
- 15 I’ve only had you for 15 minutes and I love you already. 🥰🥰🥰
- The intense game of catch where you didn’t actually see the ball move. TV wizardry that! 🤣
- That Doctor and Doctor hug!! 14 needed that so much!!! Thank you 15! ❤️
- The eyebrows story!! 🤨 An excuse for David to use his very animated eyebrows there hahaha
- Donna is his sister now!!! Oh my god! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
And Rose is his favourite niece!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Him sitting at the table with them eating food. He’s got what he always needed. A family.
I also like how Donna is like “No travelling until you feel better”.
The Doctor needs to get into the right head space.
As someone who suffers with mental illness, this really resonated with me.
- The Doctor having this face for the majority of the episode >>> 🥺 Honestly, I wanted to reach into the TV myself and cuddle him!
So yeah totally amazing episode all in all. I love how none of the main cast died (except those soldier guys. RIP nameless soldier guys).
The Doctor got a happy ending for once. I’m so pleased with the outcome. I’m happy to finally find out why he came back with 10’s face.
Thank you Russell T. Davies. Good Sir, I salute you! 🫡
