You know what, it's unfair that Kurogiri never had a free will to begin with. It's unfair that Yamada, Aizawa and Kayama lost Shirakumo.

Some people may think Yamada saying "Shirakumo should just stay dead" is cruel, and yeah it's harsh. But it's just more heartbreaking because... Shirakumo didn’t get to rest.

Shirakumo died in on hero duty, that is something that happens. But he was also stolen from them.

Imagine thinking you laid your close friend to rest, someone you shared laughs with just the day before, and then it turns out his corpse was turned into a Nomu.

That is disrespectful.

Shirakumo was turned into a servant, into a whole other personality. Yes, even as Kurogiri he exhibits his caring traits, but he was forced to.

What's cruel is that some big bad villain and a nasty scientist took someone's dead body, someone who was once a son and a friend, and turned him into practically a plaything.

Yamada wants his friend to rest. Not for just his sake, but for Aizawa, for Kayama, for the Shirakumo family.

That closure is needed.

I get it, Kurogiri is Shigaraki's caretaker and all that jazz, but don't forget that he wouldn't have been his caretaker if Shirakumo's body hadn't been disturbed. It's not even something new because we're aware that Garaki had made MULTIPLE Nomus. Imagine all those families those people had. Their friends. How unaware they may be that someone they loved is some mindless creature to serve someone else.

It's actually disgusting to even think about it.

Someone actually took someone's body and molded it to how they see fit and Yamada is the "problematic" one?

Nah, even, let's say, if Kurogiri and Shirakumo combine, it will still hurt knowing that my best friend is standing right there in front of me and he doesn't even have his own free will anymore.

He doesn't get to rest.

Yamada lost Shirakumo, he lost Kayama and he nearly lost Aizawa TWICE.

Of course, he's going to be pessimistic and angry. He's been dealing with grief and heartache since a teenager. The man's DJ, upbeat personality is probably a front to just how hurt he really is, but he doesn't want to burden anyone with his feelings. So he just built up this wall and tried to be Aizawa's sunshine to his constantly cloudy days. Yamada is in his thirties now. Do you know how long that is?!

Personally, punching Garaki once was not enough for me. He needs to be punched multiple times. AFO, too.

Okay, let’s take a look at some of the STARWARS references that convince me that Afo and Izuku are related and most likely father and son.

Afo and Anakin(Darth Vader) before their injury say almost exactly the same thing.

The battle which left them injured by the teacher of the protagonist who plays their part later on in the story.

Musutafu is a reference to Mustafar, the place where the fight of Anakin and obi wan took place. Musutafu is also the place where all might fought afo for the third time, where the war is currently taking place since ua is in Musutafu and where Izuku’s apartment is. We still don’t know where all might’s and afo’s first battle took place but it’s a possibility it did there.

Their bodies were stolen, saved, and given their mask so they could breathe.

There's a picture of a padme flower in the apartment. Padme was Anakin's wife.

If we consider the Star Wars storyline the reveal is what follows. Afo better reach Deku.

It is interesting to think that Garaki had a family under the name Tsubasa, and that he served in Musutafu as Dr. Tsubasa Coincidentally, he was the one who diagnosed Izuku as Quirkless and to this day this is the only legitimate medical action that the manga has shown of him, which is strange, since he is All for One's personal doctor, it is strange that he diagnosed the Protagonist and this fact is of no importance, and the only direct mention of Hisashi Midoriya is coincidentally to him

and his family, his children and his grandchildren lived close to the Midoriyas and Inko presumably knew Tsubasa Kun's Mother

If their families knew each other it would make sense that Inko would have specifically gone to consult Izuku at Doctor Tsubasa, we don't know why someone like Garaki would be in this region, but he seems to be the type that everything he does is in one way or another focused on All for one , so who knows it wasn't All for one who ordered him and his family to be in that region specifically, both using false identities of Hisashi Midoriya and Dr. Tsubasa especially, a curious detail is that looking at Tsubasa Ku's age he became Nomu on a date not a long way from when AFO became potatoes

Went back through the manga and found these panels mentioning Chisaki’s quirk. It’s interesting that, the quirk, Overhaul is mentioned as the ability to dismantle and restore....

Seems highly plausible that AFO and Garaki used his quirk to make Shigaraki's Decay. If so, Garaki probably performed experiments on Chisaki in the same nature as the ones Chisaki subjected Eri to…

It could explain Chisaki's lack of empathy towards Eri, and his extensive knowledge on quirk research, to the point of being able to create quirk-erasing bullets from Eri’s Rewind.

MHA396 Spoilers Now that AFO and All Might are fighting in mha396, I want to write a quick theory about All for One and the Doctor.

I've had this scene from mha364 in my head a lot, and most importantly how different the fan translation (left) versus the official (right) is.

One is affirmation. The other, is a warning.

I've spoken to some friends who say that the original japanese does indeed say "may hatred NOT dwell in your heart." It is also this way in other translations, like in Spanish.

We KNOW the Doctor and AFO had been planning this for awhile. We also KNOW that AFO feels Tomura's rage, and is wanting to become one with it.

The Doctor is confessing something:

"To tell you the truth, your voice, your eyes, your smile… are so precious to me."

as if to say…

All for One, I hope this doesn't change you...

But, it clearly has in mha396.

If you reread this whole end battle as I have, AFO becomes progressively more and more unstable, and more and more afraid.

Sure, the 'caleb' translation could mean "hey, I hope you accomplish what you set out to do" but it doesn't fit the tone, nor does it add anything like the fan translation does.

This to me is a big mistep in our own print...

Storytime:

I've mentioned in a previous post that my sister got me into My Hero Academia a few years back, and while showing me the first episode, when we got to this scene, I asked aloud, "Why is there a random foot x-ray just hanging out there?"

And she just shushed me and said, "They'll get to it, hang on!"

So they explained it. All right, so it's li'l Deku's x-ray and it's determined he doesn't have a Quirk due to some evolution thing that's apparent by his bone structure. Gotcha.

Here's the thing, though:

That ain't a child's foot x-ray. All the joints look fully developed, so this is a grown adult's foot and not the toddler Deku is supposed to be here.

So if there was any truth to the fan theory that Deku did originally have a Quirk that was stolen by Garaki...not only did the doc have the friggin audacity, but he also staged the laziest lie he could have.

Side Note: Film x-ray with a light box and everything? Come on. That display method is so outdated that they don't even teach radiographers how to develop x-ray images anymore. (At least not in the US.) It's all computerized nowadays.
