author i'm beefing with: "i feel slight revulsion about the word 'spiritual', it's got negative overtones, aren't you deluding yourself and others with it, keep it to yourself"
same author, literally twelve (12) pages later: *spends a page describing spiritual experiences, sharing them with the world, but insists they don't count as "spiritual" because they're about the physical material world*
my dude it's not just believers who try to have it both ways, huh

my husband falls asleep before i do so i usually go to the living room to read or watch tv but now im terrified to leave him alone in the room at night for any amount of time because he keeps waking up to something in the bed that looks like me and he thinks is me until he gets up for whatever reason and finds the real me in the other room and when he goes back to the bedroom the thing is gone. but last night the thing was talking to him and i asked him if it sounds like me and he said "it sounded a little different but i thought it was because you were tired". like what the FUCK is in my house. and how do I make it stop. also idk if this is worth noting but both times our dog was in the room with him and had no reaction

Just watched The Sea Beast and y’all it was SO GOOD. The animation was beautiful and the fight scenes were Amazing. What struck me the most at the beginning was how there were like no- how do you say Stereotypical Women?? Like I don’t mean stereotypical as in likes baking and dresses cuz there’s nothing wrong with that but there were NOT ONLY the fiction typical women positions like barmaid and village milkmaids. Every single one of the women characters felt like a real person and that thought like struck me when I saw Rosie the character who was driving a carriage during the bar scene lol. Probably cuz I realized that I’ve only ever seen men fill this role in typical fictions and the fact that there were just people filling in roles with no regards to their gender gave me like a euphoria that I’m still on lmao
Also if I was the ship lad getting bridal carried saved by Jacob at the beginning of the movie I would need supernatural help in order to hide my boner

I don't even know how long it took me to do this and I didn't even finish it, sorry :(
When I ask @bones-of-a-rabbit if I could draw something from their fanfic I really had no idea what to draw so that was one of the reasons why it took me so long, sorryagain
And another is that I was sick, besides not feeling well mentally, but I'm fine now, I guess.
Infact,IamstillsickBUTthatdoesn’tmatternow-
Anyway, I enjoyed reading it too much. I really want to finish the drawing but I don't have the energy to do it, I tried too many times and my mental state just won't let me. So for now here it is, I still want to finish one of the panels but only that.

so.... has anyone actually reworked the pilots, s1, and the first half of s2 to make sense after the changes made in wrong place, wrong time. theres no way no one has, its too bonkers not to. at the end of the time travel episode lloyd no longer knows what the megaweapon is, implying it cancelled itself out. if so. what brought back the grundle and made him need to age up in the first place? not only do you need to somehow completely reshape the series to function without the core conceit of the entire show at that point, up to even how lloyd is deemed the green ninja, but the most immediate obvious problem is what would cause him to still need to age himself up in a world where garmadon couldn't just wish to bring the grundle back. my personal favorite option is a tea did it. i think mystake enjoys shenanigans enough to subsidize that. i can 100% see this woman hearing “i want to bring dinosaurs back to life” and going hell yeah that’s kickass

You said iirc that you dropped the book because wwx/lwj were too annoying for you, just curious how far you got?(this isn't me trying to convince you to keep going btw im just curious as to what the last straw was lol)
Haha, it wasn't a last straw so much as like...a profound general disinterest. I got the first two volumes of the novel last year and still haven't made it to Xue Yang's introduction. A big part of this is my own poor attention span... except I've been getting through another book series just fine in the last month, and Volume 2 contains Yi City, the Empathy sequence, and Qin Su's big scene, which are some of my favorite bits of plot. This is where we finally meet JGY! That should be enough to motivate me, since it's familiar and it's not especially challenging prose! But it does not, especially does not knowing that I have to sit through one scene of Wangxian shenanigans ft. endless descriptions of how how Wangji is for every scene I actually care about. I like the glossaries and appendixes in the back of the official translations, so I don't regret buying it, but I'm not going to bother with the others.
