i hope yellowjackets never gives a clearcut answer vis a vis the whole "how much of it is the supernatural and how much of it is the trauma" question, but like, at this point my best guess for tai is that she physically has a screw loose in the most literal sense possible. like something is not right up there. and i don't even mean in the mental illness sense, they're all deeply traumatized and different shades of mentally ill at this point, but like- this degree of sleepwalking, and dissociating, and losing time? it's giving neurological damage, it's giving uniquely horrible and very strange form of traumatic brain injury. like that plane crash knocked something Loose i swear to god

thinking about how barb died because of the care her and nancy felt for each other. nancy wanting to have her best friend by her side. barb wanting to be there for her. nancy checking on her when she cuts her hand. barb seeing through the act nancy puts on. nancy saying she can go home when its clear she doesn't want to be there. barb staying anyways. the way they both figured they would have tomorrow to make things alright. the love was there, and because of that they don't get to fix things in the morning

ok i need to give you all my current tgs theory because i feel insane.
so. basically. i think we’re getting into the Cool And Fun part of the j&h adaptation where jekyll gets hit with a surprise transformation. this is the groundwork for it and it’s gonna be. Bad. when it hits, but i digress.
i’m gonna say point blank i don’t think lanyon accidentally had sex with hyde. i think there’s a lot of weird shit happening in jekyll’s mind palace rn, and i think the boundaries between him and hyde are starting to fully collapse. we know jekyll is worryingly good at compartmentalizing, well before hyde was ever even in the picture, and he wants to find a clear divide where he ends and hyde begins--to find what hyde “really is,” if he isn’t pure evil like he originally thought (see when jekyll got sent to the Mind Palace in chapter nine).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
but now, with jekyll unpacking all these things he’s suppressed, acting on these repressed desires he’s had for lanyon, he’s getting into what he’s cut off from himself as “the stuff hyde does.” he’s un-comparmentalizing, and in turn he’s taking down this very strong, clear-cut dichotomy he’s had between himself and hyde--and his body is having a physical response. and that’s not even getting to where we left off with hyde, with him going all heat death of the universe in jekyll’s brain. that’s definitely doing. something. i don’t know what but it can’t be good.
anyways, tl;dr, i don’t think this appearance of green eyed jekyll is hyde doing some sinister takeover to seize control again or to sabotage the rekindling of jekyll and lanyon’s relationship, it’s literally just muscle memory.

Batfamily Succession
Obviously first and foremost, Bruce to Dick to Damian. Your brother-father raising you, moving past a burning rage, building a legend together
But also Bruce to Dick to Tim. Your idol made flesh, but also the disillusionment coming hand in hand with adulthood. Mending and breaking and mending again
And then Barbara to Cassandra to Stephanie. Mentorship and sisterhood, and the eternal quest to be taken seriously by someone who loves you dearly but never seems to see you
But then, Bruce to Jason and Batman to Cass. Batman starting with a murder, pearls on concrete, and Cassandra starting with a murder, blood on her hands, and Jason ending with a murder, the bright blaze of an explosion. Coming back changed. Cassandra revering the legend of Batman, and Jason breaking himself against the unchangeability of Batman.

do you think a mecha should match your body movements or should it have handlebars or a steering wheel or a controller with analog sticks or a keyboard or those touch panels that move in circles or
That's actually a very interesting question! I think it depends on the tone the story is going. For example, the way gundams are piloted in Fighter G wouldn't work for IBO, and vice versa. I can't say I like one over the other (this is a lie I like blood stabbing and heavy levers) but I think like. It's a story about humans and robots, so the way you're interacting with the robot has to enhance the story it's in

something ive picked up on in mp100 is the fact that it makes a Point to emphasize that mob is not at the whims of the narrative, but is in fact the narrative itself. which puts nice contrast to ritsu who takes 'defying the narrative' very seriously even though he is not at all at the mercy of any narrative except the one in his head. and teruki who is presumably at the mercy of an unseen narrative despite insisting he himself is that narrative that everyone else is at the mercy of. reigen is his own narrative but he is very much controlled by everyone else for better or worse. something something "your life is your own" "youre the protagonist of your own life" something something.

I need to figure out a timeline of events for lucy gray’s modern verse, but I know for a fact that everything moves a lot slower. I think she and coriolanus have a lot of actual time spent together in a relationship, rather than things kinda breezing by. she might be 19-20 by the time she finally leaves him? I think it makes sense why things happen so quickly in the book, but in a real life version, it would be much slower moving.

Did Agamemnon and Menelaus ever saw Pelopia as a mother figure? When did they get to know who were Aegisthus' real parents? Do you think they could have assumed at some point that Thyestes killed Pelopia?
If they did, those two were just permanently motherless :[[
OHH THAT'S SOME GOOD STUFF TO CHEW ON.
i dont think so?? personally. and i'll explain why, if i may. for starters, pelopia was probably a similar age if not the same age as agamemnon (maybe not menelaus. but agamemnon!) so i don't think they would have seen her as a mother, but Also, they knew their actual mother and they would have been aware of the politics of the time. their rich powerful king father marrying a young beautiful woman ... that's just how it was. y'know? she was never meant to be their mother. atreus never really intended her to be. so i don't think that would have been pushed tbh.
also. they're old when pelopia comes into the fray with aegisthus. and we can kinda infer this because the first time thyestes comes to mycenea (so FOR the feast, before aegisthus is even born) its menelaus and aga who are sent to get him. giving them a sense of responsibility, meaning that aga at least had to be quite old. (its probably good to vibe that when pelopia rocks up aga is like 15??? and menelaus around 13???) in ancient greece/homeric greece, they're practically men. they wouldn't have needed a mother at that point tbh.
i think they would have known aeg's real dad. because ofc aeg kills atreus and then thyestes takes the throne and aga and menelaus were banished ........ i cant imagine thyestes would do that without bragging, gloating about Everything lmaoooo
mAYBE he took .... 'credit' if you will for pelopia (they would have known about her death. no source indicates her body was hidden etc.) or maybe he would have blamed aeg?? ORRR because this is the HOA and its Fucked - he spoke the truth. he spoke of pelopia and everything that happened (but ofc according the aeschylus .... none of this happens lmaoo aegisthus is just a child that survives the feast. he's not a product of incest)
i think though. it's pretty obvious in these two characters that they are ...... deprived of Good parents or parents in general. yknow? menelaus throws himself head first into being a parent. so much so he's almost driven to murder??? he PRAYS for a child. aga?? aga's children adore him. and that's the same thing. he will Not let them feel how he felt. [these two are all about breaking the cycle and whilst menelaus does. aga cannot. but u cant really deny aga tries.].
i think aerope was there to an extent. but i have my own thoughts on her ASDFGHJK
