Noodle had quite the adventures for his first full day with Dana. First he accidentally sucked his awful little puppy weener out of its sheath because he missed his mommy and it wouldn't go back in for ages and she almost had to take him to the vet for Penis Reinsertion but then it went back in on its own finally, PHEW. Now he has a belly band until he gets used to being away from mama 😬

Then he went on a car ride and was carried around a pet store a little. Came home and did a little sit and down training. And napped with all the other dogs!

I have been reminded (by the memorial listing on findagrave.com) of my great-Aunt Kitty’s friend Ivy

Ivy’s in our family plot, and maybe I’m just queer but I can’t imagine any reason why she would’ve been put in our plot rather than her’s, unless it was that her and Kitty were together - Ivy’s little plaque says “our dearest friend”, and maybe that is just so, but I can’t help but think

Kitty’s says “Queen of Commondale”, which makes me smile every time I see it

I haven’t broached it with anyone else but my dad, once, and he blustered about “I don’t know” and that the only thing he’d ever heard of her in that sense was with a man (a married man, whose children came to Kitty’s funeral)
