New Bestseller: The “UltiMUTT” Book for Dog Lovers by Debbi Dachinger

You will discover deep and intimate encounters that the authors have had by sharing their fears, insecurities, and most vulnerable moments with their dogs. Barney was born on Halloween in 2006, which means this Saturday, it’s his 14th birthday!

I don’t have any puppy pics but here are some from that first spring & summer that I had him, back in 2008. Our first adventures together! I only had a very basic 4mp p&s camera at that point, so the quality of these pictures isn’t great but these are all so precious to me & bring back many memories of the wild & joyful youngster Barney was, so excited to be learning new things & exploring new places with me!

It’s common to see people smiling, but when a puppy smiles, you can’t help but get excited about it.

Hello there, it’s a pleasure to meet you. I bet you didn’t expect such a polite greeting from a pup named Sassy, huh?

Well, I’m a mature, sophisticated lady - 13 years old, 38 pounds, originally from Arkansas. Since arriving at the Providence Animal Center in Media, Pennsylvania, I’ve been staying with a delightful foster family who describe me as shy, sweet, and sensitive.

My hearing and vision aren’t what they used to be, and I wobble a little when I walk, but I’m still an independent gal who loves to be outside, where I can sniff and explore at my own pace. I can also be a bit of a couch potato and am a snack aficionado. My ideal home would be a place where I can relax and enjoy the finer things in life: leisurely strolls outside, ample naps and even more delicious treats.

My friends at the shelter think I could live with the right kitty or doggy sibling, with a proper introduction. And since I’ve slowed down since my puppy days, they think I’d do best in home with kids age 8 and up, without any pesky stairs to climb.

Naturally, I’ve got my affairs in order: I’m spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on my vaccinations, and my bags are packed. Plus, I made such a good impression on someone they sponsored my adoption fee, which means I can move in with you for free.

If you think I sound like the right companion for you, please email foster@providenceac.org today! My paws are crossed I will see you super soon!

XOXO,

Sassy
