I have a headcanon that came to me in a vision (like all my headcanons do) that Ballister has been running an Ambrosius stan account on social media for the past like. 6 years. Upon which he conducts himself very much like a teenage girl and does not let on at all whatsoever who he really is.

He doesn't engage with his primarily teenage follower base but there are like 50k of them. The account exists only to torture his boyfriend

All the other Knights know about it after a certain point and one of them starts printing out especially hilarious posts and pinning it on the wall

Ballister makes fun of himself constantly on this account

When they got engaged he slowed down posting because he was obviously busy but he put on the account that his mental health couldn't handle that Ambrosius Goldenloin was engaged to Ballister Boldheart

After the wedding he did a live Q&A and exposed the whole ruse because it was just him and Ambrosius laughing so hard they cried and it was a miniature scandal for like 10 minutes that they got asked about on a talk show once

As a Starwars Fan, CloneWars Rebels fan and also loyal Sabezra/Ezrabine Shipper..

I tried to be more respectful…but I just need this to get off my chest .

I am sick and tired of shipwars, & pressing peoples buttons against Sabezra/Ezrabine…

For the past 9 years that I’ve been around from Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Tumblr. I seen a bunch of anti Sabezra /Ezrabine shippers been hating on Ezrabine/Sabezra throughout 9 years with passion.

They make it the same old claim call “siblings,”Friendzone” friendships gay, lesbian,, over and over blah blah blah … there’s a lot of people that they don’t want to see Sabezra/Ezrabine… throughout 4 seasons of Rebels I saw the comments from social media, making their claims when they shipped about.

even after rebels Season 4 I saw those anti-Ezrabine shippers were so celebrated on those comments against Sabezra/Ezrabine ship.

those people who ship Sabine to someone else to brush Ezra off.

Sabine treated Ezra, like a nobody for being a jerk to ignoring him. And people viewing Ezra Bridger like a loser? Which is unfair that she treated him the wrong way. But more disgusting act why in the world that Lando flirted a 16-year-old Sabine wren in Rebels Season 1? In my opinion, Lando is a pervert. Lando look like a 30 year old in rebel season 1. Which is not funny for Ezra bridger that he been treated like shit…

In Season 3 I still never get over the fact that Sabine hugged Kanan instead of Ezra, which is a total insulted

Why, in the world that Sabine never gave Ezra Bridger the credit that he’s ever done for her throughout Rebels… my personal take that Ezra Bridger was overlooked and unappreciated.

Ezra did everything for Sabine Throughout Rebels

1.Ezra Gave the Tie Fighter for Sabine to Spray painted 2. Ezra tries to help Sabine training, Sabersticks in rebels season3 (trials of the darksaber.)3 and lastly, Ezra save Sabine 7 times through missions in 3 seasons even though in Ahsoka series, saving Sabine twice in one mission,,. Including rescuing Sabine‘s father. From Rebels Season 4 to Ahsoka Series Sabine has develop her feelings for Ezra , through 10 years of the timeline.. and on the other hand, but in episode 6 why the the directors including Dave Filoni, did not show the real emotion of Sabine & Ezra’s reunion? They act like they see eachother for days and that is a red flag.🚩

I guess it’s time they need to wake up and open their eyes and face the reality. The writers and directors got it all wrong and that is also criticizing the show.

And let’s be real Sabine wren has never seen Ezra Bridger in 10 MF years! And never showed the realistic emotion? I find that out why in the writers are making Sabine like a hypocrite and act like never have feelings for Ezra.

She’s been hiding her feelings through a decade..

Ezra Bridger has grown mature strong good looking man also high value.. Sabine has made a big mistake to reject, ghosting him and pushing him away. And he is not the same so-called “ annoying kid “ and he’s not that person anymore.Then Sabine turned herself around and she felt that she cared quite. Honestly she fail in love with him.

I don’t want to hear with this so-called cliché for me. That is an excuse for people, saying that.

As for Dave Flioni? He been playing mind games throughout 9 years, and he kept ducking over that.

People gonna say “He make them siblings “

My question is, Don’t you knowthat Dave Filoni wrote those signs, hints, and teases throughout rebels & Ahsoka Series, with these 2 characters of Sabine & Ezra?

as far as I’m concerned, if Sabine do care about Ezra why is she didn’t say Ezra’s face? she been waited too long and for me personally, I’m tired of waiting.

I understand of course that there's no artistic shortcuts, and that the only way to learn to do a thing is to practice it a bunch.

But man, every time I see your art on my dash, some part of my wishes I could flip a switch and just mimic that style in one go. How long does it generally take you to do any of your random sketches? And do you have any advice for nailing the sort of. Casual dynamic style you do so well.

Most sketches of just a pose and a half take me anywhere from 25 minutes to an hour, mostly depending on both how detailed the character is, and how ambitious/inspired I'm feeling to draw them.

It's as you said, hard to recommend anything other than "practice", but I detailed my study regimen here. Something I hear is useful but don't do myself is straight up tracing sketches of other artists (for your eyes only, don't go posting them and making claims), mainly to learn and improve your own muscle memory and "get in their head". I've only done that very sporadically as inking practice. That's not me saying it isn't a good idea, I just haven't built up the habit. Feel free to do that with my own work, by the way!

Either way, my "casual dynamic style" comes from honing my eye and muscle memory to the point where I can draw poses more efficiently and visualize them, which my daily study regimen helped me hone. When you "get" to where I am, you'll find that there's only more to learn, though. Think of speedrunners; someone being better than even 90% of players looks impressive, but once you hone your skill to that point, you'll realize there's 10 times as much distance between you and the guy that's better than 93% of players. People who shoot for world records, being the best of the best, wind up making thousands more attempts than others lower on the ladder ever will.

The biggest takeaway is that you shouldn't be expecting yourself to be all that satisfied at any point, IF you aren't drawing something you enjoy. DALL-E 2 images look impressive and even incredible, but after a while the novelty begins to wear off. Training your neural pathways to make better and better art works the same way; you actually dampen your ability to get a dopamine hit off of good art alone, so you try to make it better, and eventually you grow only somewhat satisfied with your new normal. You need to draw stuff that actually makes you happy. That's the sort of thing that will fuel your journey for real. It's why art quality seems to not really matter all that much on social media, as it's work that the viewer and artist relates with that often winds up getting any traction. It's not a great analogy as all art has inherent value, but some kinds of art is definitely more motivating to draw and engage with than other kinds.

It's also why I draw stupid shit all the time. I get more of a dopamine hit drawing stupid shit that scratches an itch. Maybe your thing is cats. Shipping characters. Trains. Buildings. Find something you can't easily get tired of drawing, and study it as often as you can. Not too much to burn you out, but enough that you don't mind taking the challenge again and again. Don't rush it, just study a small amount at regular intervals. It's as David Karp once said: It doesn't matter how slow you go so long as you do not stop.

for your first question, 100%. i don't think it's a matter of if at this point but when. from what's been discussed in the fandom so far, it's likely they're still renegotiating contracts and that's why. i genuinely hope cast and crew get raises because of how the shows popularity has skyrocketed which i would imagine if they do, then that might take a little longer to negotiate? the earliest we've gotten a renewal was end of march (season 5) then mid-april (season 6) with the rest of the announcements being mid-may. i really do think they'll announce s7 within the next few weeks but if not, likely by mid-may we'll get that announcement. it's one of abc's most successful tv's shows currently on air, every episode for season 6 on hulu has placed within the top 15 most watched for the day, every episode since 5x10 has trended on tumblr, and they continue to have a steady social media growth — and this is all aside from actual viewership numbers because idk where to find those or understand them lmao.

chenford proposal toward the end of season 7. i think if we get a full 22 episodes, having that happen next season would be a good amount of time in between them starting to date to a proposal but if not, at the very least have them move in together.

1. This is such a good question because for a metropolitan area that is absolutely dripping with sports teams and social media admins who are up in each other's grill constantly, we truly do not have that many juicy inter-team pairings. like obviously you are a scholar who has opened the minds and hearts of hundreds to the truth of Tony Kemp/Mike Yastrzemski and that one is elite. And why are the San Jose Barracuda and San Jose Giants' cursed fucking mascots always acting out with each other. BUT I think my favorite might be Buster Posey/Steph Curry for the NARRATIVE PARALLELS bc u know I love a parallel. drafted to shit tier teams! dragged them to greatness! the fall from grace and then the return! and they are both so cute in such an American way! idk if you read that Tim Kawakami dream diary piece on the two of them a couple years back in the Athletic but it literally rewired my brain. Like I had a legit mental breakdown reading it.

the parallels have become less powerful with Buster Posey retiring, but I literally dream every day of a urban fantasy fic where they are arranged married at draft bc the Bay Area faultlines are held together by ARRANGED MARRIAGE and SPORTS MAGIC and they have to right the sinking ships of their teams to stop the Bay Area from being destroyed from an earthquake (just roll with it) and along the way kind of grow into love and grow into companionship. I don't trust myself to write it bc I do not know anything about the Dubs in the early 2010s and also am too cheap to subscribe to the number of local newspapers' archives I would need access to to pull this fic off. but I want it so bad

i do love a good opportunity to soapbox my jesslake analysis

i presume the underlying assumption here is that when i say i think jesslake sucks it's because of [points at my url] the lake sexuality take, and hence if you simply Trans Jesse's Gender the circumstances are suddenly amenable to me. they're not--i don't base my analysis of character dynamic on random sexuality headcanons, i base it on the reality of how that dynamic is portrayed in the source media. like, this is a train Analysis blog, if you want my opinion on a ship you're getting my opinion on how compelling that relationship would be within the source media, not on how compelling it would be in some five-layers-of-caricature-and-abstraction fanon version of the media. making jesse a girl--and it is, imo, weird to use the idea of a transfem character as a prop for mediocre shipping instead of as a genuine interpretation--would not change any of the reasons why jesslake is a profoundly uncompelling and backwards interpretation of the season. i don't give a shit what genders or sexualities you make jesse and lake, they're still a bad pairing.

as for the why, i'm gonna let one of the writers of the show summarize:

jesse is...lake's first friend. Ever. she's new to friendship. she's a traumatized 13yo with a subsequently deeply unhealthy and fumbling approach to social interaction. jesse is her first friend, her only friend, and furthermore the only support system she has. jesse has a house, a family, experience with social relationships, and a support system outside of lake. jesse has a social security number and a last name. lake is a homeless kid from another dimension with approximately three months of train-world life experience and, as of the end of canon, some three minutes of real-world life experience.

which is to say that if lake were to date jesse, she would be taking her first-ever friendship--something so emotionally overwhelming to her that she's flustered by even the most basic demonstrations of care from him--and turning it into a teenage romance. you know what teenage romances are famous for? being based on short-lived infatuation with inevitable and awkward break-ups. it's how teenagers Work, having those shitty-dinky teen relationships is an important part of growing up.

do you know how unbalanced and unhealthy it would be if lake, a homeless, traumatized child with no legal existence, started dating the one (1) member of her support system? how uncomfortable and horrible it would be for the continuation of her connection to the one (1) person who can offer her a place to stay be contingent on a romantic connection to him? imagine how ruinous the inevitable teen break-up would be for her. to quote owen:

the key word here is friend. a friendship with jesse is sustainable, low-pressure. they're the special kind of best friends who meet when they're young, share the experience of figuring out how to grow into themselves together, and stay friends for life. that's something so much more compelling and emotionally significant than the idea that their connection on the train was solely the result of short-lived superficial teenage infatuation.

season two is not about crushes. season two is about two lonely kids finding each other and realizing that they're lovable despite what they might think or what the world might be telling them. season two is about the best-friendships that save and change lives. in the season two DVD bonus commentary tape for the wasteland scene, show writer katai points out, and i quote exactly: "it's so cruel and dismissive that he keeps calling jesse just 'lake's boyfriend.'" (dennis and queripel chime in with "yeahs" after this comment is made.) and it's cruel and dismissive for a reason: because season two is about a platonic love far, far deeper and more significant than any romantic interpretation of the season could ever be.

making it some dumb teen romance isn't just implausible/unhealthy if you engage with it in the full context of the show's narrative, it cheapens The Absolute Shit out of the relationship dynamic they do actually have. and sure, you can say "but not everything has to be realistic/accurate to the show all the time!!!" but infinity train is a show about very realistically written people experiencing very realistic problems in their very realistic lives, where the one added element of absurdity is the train. i like to engage with the show on its own terms, i like to interpret character dynamics with the understanding that the world they inhabit is just ours but with the addition of the train. i don't want to make uninteresting, generified shipbait versions of jesse and lake kiss. i want to engage with the way they're actually written in the show.

and the way they're actually written in the show makes it exceptionally clear that jesslake is a boring-ass ship and Travel Besties is where the narratively meaningful shit is at.

if you want jesslake to be a thing, then you better start making alternate universes, because they're never gonna be dating in this one.

As someone who used to read quite a lot of Buddie fics, but watches the OG there does tend to be quite a few fics about the whole Eddie abandoning Buck thing or just playing up the Buck is a victim card. However, I think those tend to be the ones that focus more on the individual storylines for Buck/Eddie that happened in S3 and another incident that happened to Buck in S5 in order to construct their characterization of both Buck/Eddie instead of their individual complexities. (There was a whole fandom controversy that happened this year because of this in terms of the portrayal of BIPOC characters vs victim Buck in fics. But that is a whole other complex conversation.) But yeah, I do agree there are people in the Buddie fandom (and otherwise) who tend to get lost in their version of these two characters/their relationship to the point where they harass the writers, people in the fandom (and a journalist once 😖) for not writing/talking about their relationship in the way they want. It's harder to do out in the wild (i.e. other social media sites), but blocking people on here has really done wonders for my enjoyment in interacting with the fandom on both fronts. Anyway, I get what the anon is saying. The impressions I get of the characters (in crossover fics) varies depending on which show is the main focus of the story, which makes sense to me since you're seeing the story through the eyes of how the authors perceive and portray each show and its characters. It's interesting to see what different people focus on and pull from regardless of what I know about/how I personally perceive the characters through each show.

Interesting. I am so 10000% for shipping literally whatever you want, like I do not care if it's toxic or immoral or whatever like think your little thoughts friend, do you! But I draw such a hard line at involving the real people in it lol. Tweeting fandom shit at the actors/writers/creators/whoever else is such a hard no for me, even if you're doing it in a positive way. So harassing a journalist is NOT GREAT! And yeah I like ... again, know nothing at all of Buddie other than a handful of crossover fanfics, but another unfortunate regular fandom occurrence is woobifying the white character and giving the BIPOC character negative traits, or like making them angrier or more aggressive or more violent than they are in canon. I genuinely don't think the majority of people do this on purpose but it does happen, and part of the work of learning to be anti-racist is recognizing that and learning to stop it before it starts. Letting characters of colour be soft and sensitive and cared-for is so important. i'm so firmly on the train of soft Carlos literally for this reason, like he is a cop, he's physically large, he's a person of colour, he's portrayed in the show as very confident, but we are gonna let him be soft dammit. We are gonna let him be quiet and insecure and anxious and TK is gonna give him absolutely all the snuggles.

INFORMATIVE-EDUCATIONAL POST: Why RivaMika is NOT pedophilia/grooming – a thread.

Just a reminder once again that this post is for informative purposes only and is not meant to undermine any other ship.

First of all, let us define pedophilia. The following definitions have been taken from good sources on the web including the Merriam-Webster dictionary and app. Phrases and words have been highlighted for convenience and address bars have been retained for reference.

From the word itself, it pertains to a child that has not undergone puberty. Now what is puberty?

Now we don't have a canon age as to when Mikasa has actually undergone puberty. But if we just follow the events in the manga, it has been stated that the 104th Training Corps, which Mikasa graduated from, ran during the years 847 through 850. This means Mikasa entered the military training at the age of 12 (legal age of puberty in girls and so young to enter military WTH?), and graduated by the age of 15.

Now I am not saying that it is already morally and socially acceptable for her to have a relationship with someone older than her at this point. We do have varying cultures and practices, after all. But according to the aforementioned definition, it cannot be classified as pedophilia since Mikasa is no longer of prepubescent age then.

Keep in mind that the Battle of Trost District arc takes place in the year 850. This is where Levi and Mikasa first met. And what age is Mikasa by then? 15. No longer prepubescent.

Now that we have established that Mikasa is no longer of prepubescent age, let's talk about grooming, particularly sexual grooming. Please see the following definitions and explanation.

Sure Levi readied Mikasa for specific objectives - mostly to save Eren. But this is because he is a corporal, a captain of a military squad. You definitely ready your own troops for battle.

But Levi never abused nor used force on Mikasa, even in the Ackerbowl where he needed it the most. He never manipulated her into agreeing to something. He considers her thoughts and actions before deciding on plans of attack whenever he makes use of her abilities in the field. You can clearly see this in the following manga panels.

Sure Levi is intimidating. But that is his personality and style. No abuse or exploitation, or coercion, no gaining power over, no secrecies, and no making her think that those are normal.

There may be an age gap, but there is no power gap component at play.

Sure Levi has become a mentor to Mikasa, and a dominant figure in her life. But again, this is because he is her superior. That is what superior officers are supposed to do - show them how shit is done. And besides, it is more like Levi became a role model to her. She learned a lot of moves by observing him, and being with him long enough in the battlefield.

Therefore, all these acts cannot be classified as sexual grooming.

CONCLUSION:

Based on all the aforementioned data, I hereby conclude that RivaMika is NOT pedophilia or grooming, and is okay to ship. You do not have to ship it, but keep in mind all the information herein.

On a more personal note, if I were to choose.. I'd prefer to be in a relationship with a reasonable age gap where I am loved, respected and appreciated, rather than be in a relationship of same/close age where I am undervalued, unappreciated, it is non-reciprocal, where I feel uneasy and anxious most of the time, and makes me question my own self and self worth.

At the end of the day, these are all just fictional characters. And no one else has a say on what’s going to happen except Isayama. So let us all just understand and respect each other and make social media a happy and safe place to be~

The thing about how modern fandom has organized into a war between "antis" and "proshippers" is that...there are so many things that are WAY bigger than fandom wank wrapped up in this, and it is terrifying how all of this gets reduced into ultimately meaningless wank about which fictional dolls should kiss.

Let me ask you a couple of questions:

When you say "antis DNI", do you mean "antis" as in people who claim to be "protecting fandom" with their ship policing but have only ever gone after ONE het ship en masse for SOME ~inexplicable~ reason, assume their (mostly queer) peers are sexual predators by default and have to be trained out of predation and that many of us can be corrupted at the drop of a hat, see a fan space that isn't designated for them and assume it must be so closed off to harbor child abusers, hear "sexual expression" in largely queer spaces and immediately think "PEDOPHILIA AND INCEST!!" with absolutely no critical thought, are content to throw really heavy violent criminal accusations at largely marginalized people over flimsy-at-best evidence (and yes, finding entertainment value in the fictional dynamic between two people with an age gap that may be questionable irl IS flimsy at best), think that fandom will somehow manage to promote incestuous abuse even after Game of Thrones failed to do so despite having a much larger audience and having framed its questionable content as being ~there for realism~; and instead of just Disliking things, insist on finding reasons that no one can possibly like it without being A Horrible Person, often while arguing that questionable content in their own preferred media is Totally Fine IRL Actually and in the MOST extreme cases, actually seeking out real CSAM to weaponize against the targets of their ire?

Or do you mean people who dare to acknowledge that hey, there's a lot of irresponsible-at-best marketing and framing in mass media, like how rich and famous writers and directors insist on including gratuitous graphic sexual violence and excluding POC for "historical accuracy" in fantasy settings with dragons and shit, and a lot of racism and other really questionable shit in fandom, the fact that fandom is mostly composed of marginalized people does NOT make this okay, and hmm, maybe we need to criticize that and find a way to reduce it?

When you say "proshippers DNI", do you mean "proshippers" as in self-righteous edgelords who treat anyone setting a boundary about potentially triggering content in their own fan space as a personal attack, cannot hear criticism of their favorite thing without screaming "CENSORSHIP!" just like any right-wing chud but veiled in the language of social justice, defend hate speech and symbols in fan spaces in the name of "protecting freedom of expression" (at least as long as the hate is not aimed at them); turn edgy fanfiction into the golden calf of queer liberation such that it is not just an EXAMPLE of queer media that is often disproportionately attacked, but THE be-all and end-all of queer rights, make openly hating children and infantilizing teenagers into a cornerstone of their public-facing personalities and act like random rude 14-year olds on the internet are a bigger threat to queer expression than SESTA/FOSTA and payment processor cutoffs; deliberately chase children out of fandoms of media for children, and often create content with the primary motive of upsetting as many people as possible more than actually enjoying it themselves?

Or do you mean people who recognize that designating spaces for freedom of expression, including sexual expression, is really, really important especially for the historically marginalized groups that created the framework of transformative fandom culture; that there will ALWAYS be people who want to explore darker subject matter in fiction and coming up with tools to make that safer for all involved is a more beneficial AND more practical endeavor than banning most "bad" content outright; and that broadening the definition of "pedophilia" (which, yes, the former definition of "antis" ARE very much doing - here's a hint: for just one example, no matter the age gap, a relationship between two adults will NEVER be pedophilia, ever) and assuming it MUST be at the root of any "deviant" sexual expression has a long and bloody queerphobic history and it's REALLY FUCKING ALARMING how that mentality, right down to "freak" as the peak insult, has been so thoroughly introduced into a microcosm that is mostly composed of queer and otherwise marginalized people just by disguising it in the language of social justice?

Because, idk about you, but I don't want either of the former definitions up in my shit, but the latter? The latter positions can and should coexist.

We should be criticizing how entertainment juggernauts abuse their power and reach to keep society venerating people who look and act like their CEOs above all else, we should be criticizing the way "conventional" (read: "slap a bikini model on the ad and frame her as the product") sex appeal is treated as a necessity for marketing anything to adults, and we should be criticizing how often taboo fetishism is marketed by multi-billion dollar companies to the demographics most likely to be desperate enough to forget that some taboos exist for a damned good reason (i.e., lonely straight men with disposable income) just because that might give them a better quarterly report!

We should also be criticizing the wave of "LGBT-positive" thinly-veiled conservatism that's popping up in line with rainbow capitalism and teaching people how to recognize that just because someone can speak the language of progressivism and social justice, that doesn't necessarily mean their values have the best interest of marginalized people other than themself at heart.

The fact that this near-inevitably ends up spiraling into a highly polarized screaming match, occasionally touching on the bigger picture but only briefly before circling back to what is still EXTREMELY niche drama is...disheartening to say the least, because these are very real issues with way bigger implications than just ship wars. Bigotry making excuses for itself (the eagerness to call a ship "pedophilia" that is rarely directed at het ships, the fact that the energy put into fighting "problematic ships" by mostly queer and disabled small-time creators is rarely directed at major media creators, the ableism of "yeah well toughen up or gtfo snowflake", the defense of hate speech in the name of "freedom of speech" as if that hasn't been a neo-nazi dogwhistle for decades, etc.) and the concept of how hobbies can be used to radicalize people into some really awful ideologies, misdirection, overstatement of harm, understatement of harm, echo chambers that enable such overstatement and understatement of harm, the veneration of a platonic ideal of "children" as a rhetorical device while throwing actual children under the bus (exactly as anti-choice politicians do, but yet again veiled in the language of social justice) - all of that is wrapped up in this.

It is, by far, my least favorite mass fandom drama to date.

hey so what do you think is the fandom’s general consensus on M and K? I feel like there’s a loud minority, and then ppl didn’t know M existed until that photoshoot of him hugging him or NYE depending if ppl actually looked through the tagged at the time (or were chronically online).

Because I don’t see hate comments on the girls’ posts, or their numbers skyrocket or plummet. Just a bit of an increase (at least on instagram)

Saying this all because I’d love to see a collab with everyone! I have a feeling the girls were in the room with the guys with that weird react video (and based off of the black background the gals have used on insta and tiktok)

To be completely honest, most of the outer rings of the fandom probably don't know or care one iota about these girls and all the drama the stan side of the fandom are drumming up because of all this.

Stans of any fandom, while generally being the loudest, are not the majority stakeholders in a fandom the size of snc's. snc have fans from all walks of life across all platforms; the majority of those fans just want to watch these idiot boys fumble their way through ghost hunting and then keep it moving lol.

That's why when shit happens and the stans threaten to stop watching snc videos in protest - like, ok. Have fun. A few thousand less views in a sea of 10 million is like pulling one grain of sand away from a beach and expecting the whole thing to suddenly disappear.

The only thing that is going to make the fanbase at large and the casual viewers walk away is if the content itself goes to shit or isn't interesting. Some casual viewers might not tune in if they had unknown people (like M and K) in their videos, but overall, more people than not would tune in and give it a watch because why not?

Anyway, let me get this train that I just derailed back on the tracks - I think the stans themselves are, as usual, divided on the subject of M and K.

You've got the stans that would make shipping edits with Colby/Sam and a paper bag if they felt it necessary, just to get the almighty notice and to prove that they are the good and supportive stans.

You've got the stans that were so heavily invested in the dream of Katrina/Sam getting married and repopulating the earth with a bunch of little singing philosophers that their whole being is now consumed with revenge and hate for K because she got in the way of their endgame, and we all hate the interloper, right?

You've got the stans who do not ever want Colby to be let out of the gilded cage the fans put him in, so him dating M without clearing it with them first (and M very emphatically not being {insert girl they shipped him with here} adds fuel to this particular fire) is a personal insult against them so of course, M is now manipulating Colby and must be stopped.

And then you've got the stans that just don't like change. They don't like that things are changing and snc are growing and aren't as accessible anymore, and they have to have someone besides the obvious culprit (THEMSELVES) to blame, so hey - those girls are mighty good targets.

Mind you, very few of the haters will actually hate to these girls' faces - in fact, most of them pretend to be fans of the girls' to their faces to avoid getting blocked, so they can continue to hate stalk them in perpetuity. So, the girls will see an uptick in views and followers, but on the surface, only a slight uptick in hate comments on their actual pages - cause the haters are engaging just as much (if not more) than the overly obsessed lovers are.

Anywho, mix all these dissenting opinions together in the hellish-hate-vacuum that is social media, and we get what we are getting today, which is a really loud few drowning out or acting like they speak for the vocal majority who do not care one way or another.

All this to say - I think the girls are very polarizing for certain sections of the fandom, and a non-factor for others. And I would be surprised if snc have them in a main channel video anytime soon...maybe a react, definitely a person channel video (if they ever brought those back), and there is almost a 100% certainty that we will eventually get tiktoks (just a hunch!)...but snc probably don't want to deal with the hassle of getting screamed out and called degrading names on twitter for a video that probably wouldn't break youtube anyway lol.
