Because harry and/or his relationship was sort of removed from it in a way. Definitely better than the first launch in terms of artwork, still a total cash grab in my opinion though. I also personally have always listened to fleetwood mac (pre-harry he doesnt influence me that much) so that was kinda fun too on a personal level.

Awww!! Thank you, friend! I’m taking care of myself as much as I can. Staying hydrated, taking breaks, doing stretches before I stock. I might need to figure out some breathing exercises before I punch my inconsiderate asshole customers but that’s normal stuff.

Retail in this ~new normal~ (gag) is a nightmare and labor shortages are real, and our hours SUCK so bad right now because corporate apparently sees labor shortages and goes oh??? So we’ll make the employees we have do double the work with less efficient hours but still expect them to get it all done and be profitable??? Okay then!

I don’t know how corporations logic anything beyond dolla dolla bills y’all.

Basically the point is I’m a full time assistant manager and there have been weeks where I’m getting like 29-32 hours because THAT is how bad it is. So all I’m really doing is taking the hours that I should have already been promised from you know BEING A FULL TIME EMPLOYEE.

But it’s stressful/exhausting because we’re operating with a small staff in a mid-volume store and way too many spinning plates. And customers who are terrible.

Ergo, fanfiction and the support of the community protects me from this insanity. It’s rough, but it’s nice to know I have stuff to come home to between emotionally and physically taxing shifts.
