BEHOLD, FINALLY COMPLETE SAPPHICS!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I won Utena in the lottery, but Anthy was Very Popular (that's what happens when you release a dark skinned doll for the first time, so I don't blame anyone for buying her just for her body!!!)

But this meant I had to put Anthy together myself (gotta reunite!) Got her outfit/wig/eyes on the secondary market (bless <3 ), and was SUPER lucky to get one of the Volks DD Icon replacement bodies....

Then it was just a case of color-matching a DDH-09 head to the body and painting her. With juuust a little bit more glitter and bling than the original release (she deserves it.)

Also discovered by chance that the DD eyes are translucent for a VERY anime worthy effect XD

Well, I'll be a -

Volks released a new 2.0 version of the Dollfie Dream ddf-3 body, called the DD 2.0 base body (ddf-3). Everything except the arms was completely reworked, exterior sculpting-wise.

More pics showing off posing at the link, and damn. What an excellent refinement in my eyes. I love how they got rid of the gaps by moving the chest seam up, and the thighs fill the leg openings fully. I also really like the new shape with the slightly larger hips. To me, it looks more natural, and more like a resin BJD, to be honest.

Oh, after my latest dyeing adventure, I'm back to being in love with vinyl dolls. Those shells can really take some heat (unlike resin).
