Maria Josefina Guzman-Madrigal

In our rp, @aquaauratora and @encantoartdump have MANY OCs. Many of them being children of our beloved main characters. Here we have Dolores and Mariano's daughter, Maria.

Mariano thinks she's named after him, but really, Dolores just really liked the name. But she lets him think what he will.

Maria here, has her Mamá's beautiful complexion, with her abuela's firey hair and stunning green eyes. She has her Papà's nose and when she grows up, she will be almost as tall as him.

Here, I want to say she's about six or seven. but in the rp she's about one and a half, almost two.

Her favorite person is her 'Belo Félix and will literally ditch anyone and anything for him.

Please don't come at me. I can't draw for crap.

Bruno was happy to return to his family and this is the merit of his niece Mirabel. Casita fixed Bruno's tower and he sometimes spent time in his room. He spends a lot of time with his nieces and nephews. Mirabel worked for a long time in her room, she prepared a gift for Tio Bruno, a handmade crossbody bag called mochila, a bag was green with a small hourglass on it, also magic candle and others that represents the members of family Madrigal and there is letters on front 'to Tio Bruno, we love you.' Mirabel wondered if her tio would like it. Once at night, Bruno had a nightmare, he tossed and turning in his bed, he sees someone in front of him. That person was in the hood and then he recognizes himself in that person who standing next to him, Bruno widened his eyes in fear, he stepped back in defense. But Evil Bruno laughing evily and walking towards him, "You come to visit, huh?" "W-who are you? What do you want from me?" Bruno asked. "I'm you, of course. I want to say that soon I'll be in control and you can't stop me. Don't worry, I'll take care of your precious family." he made a sadistic smile. "Don't you dare to hurt my family!" Tears flowing down his face. "Are you scared, Brunito?" his evil reflection leaned closer to him. Bruno closed his eyes in anexity and fear. His bad dream is ended and he woke up, still in tears, sobbing softly. Dolores hears her tio crying, she wondered what's wrong with her Tio Bruno. At the morning after breakfast Dolores tells Mirabel, Isabela, Camilo and Antonio and Luisa what she heard at yesterday's night. Isabela suggested that they're should take a walk in the forest with Tio Bruno and cheer him up, everyone liked the idea. Mirabel decided to show Bruno his gift and maybe asking him what's bothering him when Tio Bruno is ready to talk about it.

It's been a few months since Bruno returned to his family and the magic has been saved. Everything was peaceful and cheerful, he was sitting along his family at the breakfast table outside, Mirabel was talking about something with Antonio, Isabela drank juice from a cup, Abuela Alma smiled seeing everyone happy, Camilo was telling some joke, Dolores was silent and listened to what Antonio and Mira chatting about. Juileta and Agustín looking at each other fondly, this time there's a rainbow over Pepa's head, that's the sign that she's happy so her husband Felix is happy too, Luisa glanced at her sibling with a sincere smile.

That night, Bruno had a nightmare, he tossing and turning in his sleep, he saw a dark figure in front of him. It was a man in the hood, when the stranger take off his hood, Bruno widened his eyes in fear, it was him but evil version of him. Bruno look away in anxiety, his evil reflection laughed evily and walked towards him, "How lovely that you come here." "W-who are you?" Bruno's voice cracks. "I'm you of course." he replied. "I'm not like you! What do you want from me?" Bruno expressed. "Soon I'll be in control and you will not stop me, don't worry, I'll take care of your precious family." His evil reflection chuckled. "Don't you dare to hurt my family!" Bruno screamed anxiously. "Are you scared, Brunito?" he laughs evily as he walked towards the man he talking to. Bruno stepped back and lowered his head crying, he wanted this dream to end right now. Everything went to black and Bruno woke up, he started sobbing softly and he don't wanted to woke up anyone else in the house, though Dolores hears him crying, she wondered why her tio is crying. On next morning, everyone having breakfast outside, Bruno feel himself exhausted and he didn't noticed that Dolores whispered to Mirabel that Tio Bruno cried last night. That upsetting Mira and she decides to cheer him up after breakfast.

After breakfast Mirabel finding Bruno looking through the window thoughtfully, she called him and he turned his head towards her. Mirabel said that she has something for him, her tio was confused but follows her inside her room anyway, she holding mochila, an a handmade crossbody bag, that bag was green and there's was a small hourglass on it, butterfly, a magic candle and more and the letters on the front 'to Tio Bruno, we love you.' Mirabel showing it to her tio and said that she made it herself and asked if he likes his gift, Bruno taking the bag and glanced at mochila properly. "Oh, that's really lovely, Mirabel! Thank you." He embracing her into a hug.

What PSD of yours do you think would fit Dolores Madrigal? I'm looking for one that highlights yellow without turning her skin entirely red or orange.

ok, so I downloaded some caps for encanto, and the problem is that they're too red. so, most poc friendly psds that are designed to preserve color/enhance color will probably make her look orange unless you get rid of that red.

most of my newer psds come with an anti-tomato washing layer, and i used that to make the following recs. since my older ones don't have that layer, i also uploaded that layer { HERE } on mediafire. there's no paywall.

for the astronomically red scenes, i would recommend purchasing { this colour correction psd } on my deviantart. this is what it does at 43% opacity.

Telenovelas, Game Shows, and Sports; Bonding Time

Even before leaving the family and hiding in the walls, Bruno had an act for story telling. He remembered times when his sisters would sit and listen to him telling them bedtime stories, or new plot lines for stories he’d been writing. It was some of the happiest memories he had, honestly.

Now, the Casita was re-built, the magic was back, and he was back living with his family. He no longer needed his rats to preform different shows to entertain him and distract him from how upset and sad he was for leaving, or how depressed he could get in those cold, lonely walls. But that didn’t stop him from still writing and having the rats preform different stories and plot lines.

What he hadn’t expected was his neice, Dolores, joining him.

Yet here she was, sitting in his room with him and discussing his latest Telenovela with him and his rats. He was glad she didn’t mind them, since they were basically his extended family. One of his rats, Carlos, was tucked into her side, squeaking excitedly every once in a while as they spoke.

He smiled to himself and turned back to the journal he was writing his ideas down in. “No, what I meant - I mean, so Jose knows Mariana is married to Francis, but he’s so convinced that their marriage is a fraud, he’s willing to risk his medical license for it! ‘cause, you see, i-if Francis dies, then Mariana will be single and able to ‘realize’ that Jose is her true love. B-but really, Jose is just kinda... losing it. You see, he lost his daughter the year before in a train crash, and he hasn’t been mentally stable since -” he glanced up at his neice and smiled.

“But what do you think so far? I have some drawings to help -” He hands her a pile of lose paper with rough drawings of different scenes he just discussed. “Is it too much? My rats sometimes think I go a little overboard on the backstories...” he chuckled, a little self-degredatingly.
