I think my biggest DC pet peeve is when fanartists make the characters either literal sticks or sticks with slightly buff arms. Like have you walked into a gym ever??? Most heroes are either like trained warriors or trained in someway they need to be consistently working out and packing in like 3000 calories a day there’s like no physically possible way they could be skinny 😭😭 unless it’s a character that relies mostly on magic like raven or lilith that makes no sense

Me: Thinks Cerdian is the son of Garth and Tula.
Me: Tries to figure out how to ship Garth and Dolphin with Tula and his son in the mix.
Me: Wants a kid that’s just theirs and looks up Cerdian to come up with a name related to it.
Me: Finds out he’s Garth and Dolphin’s son.
Me: Well, that was a waste of time.

I feel completely heartbroken to have found out that Ramona Fradon has died at the age of 97.
The first sketch I was ever able to purchase from that talented, wonderful woman was of Cerdian, the son of Tempest and Dolphin, due to Ramona being Garth's co-creator. The outfit was designed by @numbersoftoday
R.I.P. Ramona

Practicing hair textures, and I figured the best way to see that was with white hair. So I decided to make a game to see how many DC characters have white hair, and apparently there's a lot of them. I also wanted to practice faces as well, since I'm a little worried that I'm starting to suffer from same face syndrome. I can be pretty lazy tbh.
Here's a list of the characters names, first page:
(Top row)- Dolphin, Slade Wilson (Deathstroke), Lyta Hall (Fury), Eddie Bloomberg (Red Devil), Essence.
(Bottom row)- Tora Olafsdotter (Ice), Abby and Tefe Holland, Rose Wilson (Ravager), White Rabbit, Nathaniel Adam (Captain Atom), Nura Nal (Dream Girl)
Second page, top row- Dawn Granger (Dove), Daniel Hall (Dream), Toni Monetti (Argent), Flatline, Silver St. Cloud, Silver Banshee, Faye Gunn II, Olive Silverlock
Made a few mistakes here and there, like the black stripes in Abby's hair. But I'm fine with this drawing, except for poor Nathaniel Adam. I was trying to copy the artstyle from his 1987 series but well, I'm not happy with the result. Sorry Captain Atom!
Anyways, hope you like it!

after 23 years of trying off and on I finally beat Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future albeit using a million savestates to pull through.... vibey atmospheric game but why does Appaloosa Interactive want to torture gamers so much? still trying to process the extremely dark areas, cryptic guide crystals and knowing wtf to do without any sort of gamefaqs opened. now that it’s all over with I got plenty of savepoint areas I’ll do some NoPlay recordings (extended VGM + scene ambiance) to set oneself at ease 🐬
