its weird being a mix of domestic caninekin and wild caninekin, sometimes. on one paw, i want to lay in my person's lap and be such a good dog!! but on the other paw, i see people as a threat, and i want to be a wild and free beast, wandering the outside world. sometimes, even mix them. the local wolf who accepts the treats a person throws out the window, but also steals garbage

I've decided after (way too) much thought about my theriotype, that I am a Doberman-Pinscher & Vizsla-Greyhound mix!

For awhile I thought I was a chihuhua-pit bull mix (have met a few IRL and we are just so alike) but I realized I relate to the traits of these other four breeds more, I just haven't gotten the opportunity to interact IRL with any yet! I've met a few of these individual breeds, and connected heavily with them, but never a mix of two, three, or all four, which is what I think I am!

I still don't have a tangible grasp on whether I'm a therian that doesn't take it seriously (in the same way that I'm bigender but I don't take my gender super seriously) or I'm just otherhearted. But I call myself a domestic dog therian because I'm not into petplay, I'm not really a pet regressor (maybe i am?), but I need a cage, I want chew toys, I need walks and playtime with others (LITERAL, again not petplay in the kink sense, tho not shaming, just not relating). I relate so much to domestic dogs. I'm actually a cat person in the sense of having pets, but I am a dog.

And I've always identified with mutts, so maybe I do still have some chihuahua or pit bull in me! But this breed classification is very affirming to me. And I'm curious, do other mutt-dog therians know some of the breeds they think they're a mix of? Or do you more-so identify with all mutts?

I genuingly believe whatever being shapes us accidentally put a dog soul in a human body. Yes I was raised and socialized as a human, yes I have a human body I've been learning to pilot for 20 years, but I'm still a dog and nothing can change that. Literally imagine a dog was magically transformed into a person. He's still a dog up there even if he learns to Act like a person
