MWW Artwork of the Day (7/2/22)
Khmer Empire (Indochina, 802-1431 CE)
Domestic Scene (late 12th-early 13th c.)
Bas-relief from outer gallery
Bayon Temple, Angkor Thom, Cambodia
In the last quarter of the 12th century, King Jayavarman VII departed radically from the tradition of his predecessors when he adopted Mahayana Buddhism as his personal faith. Jayavarman also made Buddhism the state religion of his kingdom when he constructed the Buddhist temple known as the Bayon at the heart of his new capital city of Angkor Thom. The Bayon temple is notable for its many bas-reliefs. The outer wall of the outer gallery features a series depicting historical events and scenes from the everyday life of the Angkorian Khmer. Though highly detailed and informative in themselves, the bas-reliefs are not accompanied by any sort of epigraphic text, and for that reason considerable uncertainty remains as to which historical events are portrayed and how, if at all, the different reliefs are related.

What was your favorite of the flashbacks in Silver’s walk?
the acorn bracelet is VERY good, but I really really love Malleus humming (hummalleus? hummus?) to Silver. especially now that the song has Context. >:) we are in a soup of angst and I'm here with a spoon in each hand and a silly straw that leads directly to my brain.

My second chat that I'm looking for is another roommates prompt, this time with my oc Cirice Clover who was interacting with another oc, Jericho Mathias. Cirice and Jericho had spent a good part of the night talking and getting to know each other, including Cirice admitting to feelings she'd kept hidden and Jericho working hard to bring her out of her shell. When we left off our characters had just finished breakfast and Jericho was talking about taking Cirice out and making sure she had a fun day off.

[ID: Digital illustration in color of Vash and Wolfwood from Trigun. The illustration takes place during the ship/home arc, specifically chapter 21. At the center, Vash is grabbing Wolfwood by the collar and pulls him into a kiss in the middle of a celebration. The pair is colored in vibrant warm hues while their surroundings are colored in cooler colors like green and teals. Luida, Brad, Meryl, and Milly are shown amongst the crowd, occupied in the celebrations as Vash and Wolfwood share a moment by themselves at the center. END ID]

Al Haitham story quest confirms:
Kaveh does the house work, Al Haitham is the messy one
Kaveh is a light weight and drunkenly told half of Sumeru that he's broke and living with Al Haitham
Al Haitham is a sugar daddy but a very reluctant one (even though he's not saying no)
Kaveh does care about Al Haitham and asks if he's okay
Kaveh is very upset that Al Haitham keeps going furniture shopping without him, Al Haitham seems into retail therapy so long as it pisses Kaveh off
If you check what Al Haitham is thinking with Nahida after the quest, he is thinking about cleaning up the books that Kaveh told him to put away - so he does take what Kaveh tells him to do into account
