I'm only going to talk about this ONCE in this tag, and never again since people are demanding you make your stance clear:

My stance is— the sooner y'all learn to separate the actor from the character, the sooner you'll have inner PEACE.

Like I have never once said I agree with noah's views, but that has nothing to do with will byers as a fictional character, or byler as a fictional pairing. I am only here on ST tumblr for these fictional entities. Noah himself has said that besides both of them being gay, he's nothing like Will (and before he came out, he used to say he's 100% not like Will at all). So maybe that gives you all some solace.

But if you CAN'T separate the actor from the character, you're always free to leave the fandom. Just don't be out here harassing, attacking, bothering people who do continue to enjoy ST and byler as always.

I know no one cares but the Jacksfilms/SSSniperwolf situation has been such a frustrating thing to watch unfold. Because ssniperwolf, who has been doing jinx-levels of reaction content for years now, is finally being called out, which is great. And there's actually a lot of people who agree with jacksfilms and support them, but they're all normal people or smaller YouTubers. Anyone else who doesn't know about the situation refuses to look into it for some reason, even though all of the evidence is right there. It takes two seconds to find the videos where jacksfilms clearly criticizes her content and then states his desire to take a stance about it on his second channel.

And then it takes two more seconds to look at a video on the second channel and immediately understand that he isn't harassing her. It's so weird how everyone's argument has been 'its weird to make so many videos on one person' like ppl don't do that on youtube for the bit all the time? And these are edits of streams, not full on scripted videos. Like its such an easy argument to debunk, but I think ppl on the internet genuinely don't know how to look into any of it for themselves. And it doesn't help that a lot of the channels covering the doxxing situation leave out the context of it all, which paints a different picture of the situation and just leads to ppl who know nothing arguing in the comment section.

It's frustrating because I'm sorry but sssniperwolf is awful. Beyond literally doxxing jacksfilms, which doesn't seem to be enough of a crime to people, she has a terrible history that's not hard to find. I've been done with her since she agreed to meeting a fan of hers w cancer and then completely blew off the mom who was trying to set it up. And there are videos on youtube that have been up for years that show her asking kids to do inappropriate things. She's clearly not a good person, even a dangerous person since she literally came to his house. But for some reason everyone is giving her the benefit of the doubt and I don't know why? She is a popular youtuber but I thought her fans were children.

It's genuinely insane that she can clearly doxx a person and there's any hesitation in condemning her. It makes me incredibly disappointed in everyone's reaction because if people had banded together more and actually educated themselves there probably would've been a better response from youtube about this. They're just giving her a temporary monetary ban so I doubt she'll lose her channel over committing a crime that exposed jacks location to nearly 5 million people which is. Great to know

Clark wanted the best for Brainy.

No matter what happened- and certainly a lot had, the last time they’d seen each other- he hoped Brainy would be okay. When he finally went back to the 21st century, he wanted all the pep talks and reassurances he’d given him, every affectionate gesture, every kindness in general- to be enough.

He pictured Brainy having the entire Legion at his back in support, as he gave speeches in front of the planets Brainiac 1 had threatened, and even temporarily digitized, promising that he’d make up for all the wrongs his ancestor had done. That he’d started his journey to becoming a superhero to do just that, redefine his family name and renounce its association with evil, and this only gave him more incentive for such a task. That he was sorry, and hoped people would be able to forgive him, just as the Legion had.

And he hoped Brainy would be successful. By the time Clark returned, already thinking of all the things he’d tell Brainy about that happened in his time, he imagined Brainy would be back with the Legion, wearing his ring again, maybe with some kind of technological assistance to give him the powers he lacked without his robotic form.

But here he was instead, in basically the exact opposite scenario he’d predicted. Hair grown out over the symbol that marked his face, wearing a nondescript dark outfit, Legion ring and belt nowhere to be seen, living on some planet that he’d only heard about from Saturn Girl when she’d admitted to tracking his location.

“Querl.” He said softly, once Brainy had finally opened the door.

(he’d learned Brainy’s real name, too- that was another change, something he’d decided upon when he claimed he was no longer calling himself “Brainiac 5”)

“Are you okay?” he asked, when Brainy didn’t answer. “Do you want-“

He didn’t get the chance to finish his sentence, as Brainy practically flew into his arms, embracing him… but as he held Brainy, he figured this was the answer to what he wanted anyway- and something Clark would happily give him, for as long as he needed.
