.... I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.
THIS FANDOM. HAS LITERALLY. NO DRIP.
THE PERSON WHO POSTED THIS IS GODDAMN FUCKING 31 YEARS OLD.
LIKE I NEVER THOUGHT I'D FUCKING SAY THIS BUT GO WATCH KILL BILL OR SOMETHING!
And don't get me started on the Chalastor discourse that I hear is happening right now as if I wasn't deep into the Daddy Kink Fanfic long before the show started as if the new episode combined with what Al said about Charlie in episode one doesn't fuel it for me.
But you know what? I'm glad that Medrano is having fun gaslighting the straighty straight puritans trying to turn this ship into the second coming of Starco because y'all deserve to be psychology messed with like that after what the fuck you did to this poor woman on her birthday.
Shame on you.

God, the behavior when there's new Taylor Swift content is so fucking exhausting. Like, first of all, lyrics without context do not mean much. I maintain that for any artist. But also not every song has to be brilliant poetry and sometimes it's okay for lyrics to be a little silly or clunky. But regardless, I will never understand the desire of so many people who don't enjoy her work to try to bring down people who love it.
Because yes, sometimes songs don't hit the mark for everyone. And yes, not everything has to be perfect art.
But also, art is subjective and someone who finds meaning in lyrics that are not perfect poetry to you does not mean they should be made to feel lesser for finding poetry where you feel there is none.

i still do feel like hoyo fumbled a bit with sumeru... even if yes, they DO their research on cultures to some extent i dont know how smart was it to combine so many middle eastern influences into one nation when the others had a set image to all of them. i was soo excited that we were gonna get some turkish representation too since that barely happens -in a media i like no less- and all we got were some npc names. and a few dishes lmao
yeah i think it came out messy in the end. fontaine is in a bit of a weird place also in my opinion since it doesn't just represent france either, i have noticed a lot of general european influences, some irish/scottish/english especially and so on. but the sumeru case is still upsetting to me too, ever since it came out. it was coincidentally around the time i took my break. i would have loved to see it more refined and more thought put into different parts of the region maybe focusing on representing specific cultures (yknow kinda like a real life region!) rather than mix it all up. i think the same for fontaine as well although it would work just as well if it was only france

Mama becomes the wind again, and breaks through the police line at almost inhuman speed. Her arms wrap around Anya, and then she's sobbing.
"My baby! I thought I'd lost you!"
"Too tight, Mama", the aforementioned baby croaks, "Anya can't breathe!"
Yor immediately backs away, and begins wringing the edge of her coat, self-conscious now. "Apologies, Miss Anya," she whispers with downcast eyes.
Agent Twilight arrives about this time, sharp eyes finding his daughter in the crowd. He's on his knees in front of her in an instant, hands feeling everywhere for potential injuries. His voice is calm from years of hiding his true feelings, but Anya can read the murdous thoughts in his mind if she's hurt.
"Anya's fine, Papa," she sighs, batting away his hands.
He grasps her shoulders then, and pulls her closer, presses one swift, awkward kiss to her forehead, and then holds her there, smelling her hair. She squirms.
"Papa's being weird."
Henry Henderson approaches then. He clears his throat, but before he can say anything, meek little Mrs. Forger has hoisted him by the collar with a threatening growl.
"Your school lied to me. My daughter was in danger and your school lied to me."
"Please accept my apologies, Madame ; that was certainly not elegant. But I came over to congratulate you on raising the most elegantly brave young lady I have had the pleasure to meet. I truly believe Miss Forger saved all of our lives. This will certainly warrant a Stella! Elegant indeed! I was moved to tears when she said she wanted to create a world where children do not need to cry!"
[Redacted] pulls back and looks his daughter square in the eye, "Where did you hear that?" he chokes.
Anya squirms again and looks at the ground.
"Uh... Bondman?" It's a question, not an answer.
In spite of everything, in spite of the growing feeling that there's been something off with his daughter long before her bus was hijacked, Loid can't help but chuckle.
"Bondman never said that. But Loidman certainly would."
When she looks back at him, he gives her a little wink. Scooping her in his arms, and reaching a hand to his fake wife, he says, "Come on, Peanut, let's go home."
