A ⇴ ATTENTION

If anything, Donghyuk arguably pays too much attention to you, he can’t help but know where you are when you’re with him. Even if you tell him that you’re alright, he’ll still make sure to check on you though.

B ⇴ BICKER

Most of the time the two of you will bicker when you mess around with one another and try to wind the other person up. Donghyuk especially will let you know that he’s in a good mood when he’s bickering with you, he won’t bite his tongue like he usually does, and will try and get some sort of reaction from you.

C ⇴ COMFORT

Seeing you upset is always a dilemma for Donghyuk as he never quite knows what to do. The one thing that he tries to focus on more than anything else is putting the smile back on your face, whether he needs to talk to you, do something silly, or just give you some space, Donghyuk will do whatever you need.

D ⇴ DISAGREEMENTS

You both can often feel as if you’re the one in the right which can lead to an argument or two between the two of you, but those disagreements never usually last long. Despite feeling as if you’re right, more than that the two of you are good at talking about how you’re feeling and explaining to the other why you both think that you’re right, whilst also understanding why the other feels that they’re right too.

E ⇴ EARLY YEARS

It surprised you both how quickly you got along with each other, although you were both pretty independent, you found yourselves depending quite a lot on one another. You weren’t sure if it was the role of the newbie or the fear of the unknown that pulled you towards Donghyuk, but for some reason you just felt settled by his side almost from the very start of when the two of you first met one another.

F ⇴ FAMILY

Donghyuk’s family were incredibly fond of you, they always appreciated how you were always there for him. He told them everything about you, especially all of the things that you did for him and the things that you helped Donghyuk with. Because of that, they couldn’t help but like you and always made sure to let you know how appreciative they were every time that Donghyuk told them something new.

G ⇴ GETTING TOGETHER

It depends on how much time you have usually whether the two of you go out or not, if you’re feeling lazy, you’ll just stay at home, but if you’ve got a full day together then you’ll make sure to go out somewhere and make a memory, especially when you’ve not been able to see each other much recently.

H ⇴ HABITS

The two of you have a habit of talking every day, even if you’re only able to text each other, you’ll catch up every single day without fail. Even if Donghyuk is away with work too, he’ll still never forget to text you, even if because of time zones too he has to wait a couple of hours for you to eventually reply to him.

I ⇴ INSIDE JOKES

Both of you have plenty of inside jokes because of how long you’ve been friends and the many things that you’ve seen together. You remember a lot of what happens when the two of you hang out as you’d experienced so many funny moments together that you wanted to make sure not to forget.

J ⇴ JEALOUSY

More than anything Donghyuk tries his best not to let any of your friends make him jealous, but it’s a tricky task for him. If someone gets particularly loud or in your face, then Donghyuk usually starts to overthink and panic a little bit. Once the two of you are by yourselves again, Donghyuk will definitely search for a little bit of reassurance from you as to who the person is and the role that they have in your life.

K ⇴ KICKS

Donghyuk got a kick out of spending time with you, that was the only real thing that mattered to him. He didn’t need anything else other than you to enjoy himself, even if you were just sat around, having you there as his best friend to talk to was by far the most important thing in Donghyuk’s opinion.

L ⇴ LOVE

He loved how you were up for anything and always wanting to make new memories with him. If Donghyuk suggested something or somewhere to you, you’d just about always say yes as you wanted to explore with him. He loved that even if he texted you last minute with some plans, you’d agree to hang out with Donghyuk if you were available and try something new again with Donghyuk once again.

The two of you first met when you were both trainees at the company, starting at the exact same time together. On your first day you found yourself sat next to Donghyuk and everything just seemed to follow from there for you both, striking up a conversation and more importantly, introducing yourselves.

N ⇴ NONSENSE

Being around you naturally seemed to bring out Donghyuk’s nonsense side, he didn’t need to try at all to make it come out, there was just something about being with you that put him at complete ease.

Donghyuk was obsessed with your sense of humour and how much you loved to joke and laugh with him. You two worked perfectly together when it came to laughing and just generally enjoying yourselves.

The moments that meant the most to Donghyuk were the moments when he’d catch your smile and be relieved to see that you were happy with him. He hated knowing that you were stressed or having a difficult time, so even if it was just for a moment, catching your smile was a massive relief to him.

He loves to ask you if you’re free, if he can, Donghyuk will try and spend as much time with you as he possibly can. Even if you’re only free for a little while, that won’t matter to him, he’ll stop by at yours.

mark: when your nails are longer. now, he’s a firm believer that your beauty and hygiene routine is totally up to you but he can’t deny how much he loves longer nails. mostly bc of the lazy head or back scratches you give that practically have him purring in your lap. on days when he’s more tired or stressed, he comes home, laying his head in your lap and takes your hand to put it on his head. you get the idea pretty quickly and give the poor boy what he wants. he especially asks for scratches on nights when his mind is racing and he can’t get to sleep. in less than ten minutes he’s out like a light.

renjun- the way you two can communicate without talking sometimes. for as long as he can remember, you two have just always been on the same wavelength. even when you were friends, it was almost like the two of you had a secret language without even saying a word. it comes in handy when you’re out and either one of your social batteries inevitably runs out. he also gets to shit talk the other members and have you laughing from all the way across the room.

jeno- it’s the way your head fits in the crook of his neck. his heart does somersaults literally every time. jeno first noticed it when he was playing games and you made yourself comfortable on his lap. usually you just rest your head on his shoulder but this time you laid on his chest. you were feeling a bit anxious that day and you knew the steady thud of his heartbeat would ground you. while you were trying to calm down jeno needed to see over you, so he instinctively rested his chin on your head. the second you snuggled in closer, he nearly lost in his game because he froze up for a bit. the way you fit into him was just so astronomically perfect that it was taking everything for him not to lose it.

haechan- donghyuk thought he was sassy… until he met you. you’re so quick and witty and it’s particularly helpful around his hyungs. being surrounded by older peers so often, donghyuk can find himself being teased. since having you around, there’s always a shot right back of friendly fire that’s so well executed that it has him and the other boys rolling in laughter every time. it becomes less fun when he’s the target though.

jaemin- you’re always up for anything. he comes to you with the most random ideas or things to do and you’re always down. late night convenience store run? definitely. randomly rearranging the furniture? absolutely. finger painting like 5 yr olds? 1000%. you also put up with his off the wall thoughts and questions. he’s definitely the type to ask “would you still love me if i was a worm?” at 3 am and you give him an answer even when you’re half asleep. (the answer is yes btw) you never judge him or make him feel weird. nothing fazes you and that’s how he knows you’re his person.

chenle- deagal immediately took to you from the moment she met you. there are many times chenle has introduced people to his baby and she hasn’t taken to them. he was so relived when you two met and she hopped right into your lap. when you’re around, she follows you everywhere like a little shadow. chenle would be hurt if it wasn’t so damn cute. his heart also melts at the way you care for her like she’s your own. every special routine or the way she likes her food, anything for the princess and you do not mind at all.

jisung- he catches you looking at him sometimes or rather, the dreamies caught you looking at him one time. jisung was happily minding his business when you were all hanging out when he got a message in the group chat and it was a picture of you staring up at him like he was the center of the universe captioned, “damn what did our little maknae do to have them falling so hard?” the boys continued to joke around but jisung melted completely. ever since he tries to catch glimpses of you any chance he gets.

GAME. token tag.

SETTING. a large, abandoned shipping dock filled with numerous shipping containers laid out like a maze. some shipping containers are locked. others are open. all containers are empty.

RULES. all players begin in the centre. each house consists of one runner and one seeker chosen at the pair’s discretion. the runner will hold a token belonging to another house. the seeker’s responsibility is to catch the runner holding their house’s token. if the seeker catches the correct runner, the runner will be eliminated. if the seeker catches the incorrect runner, the seeker will be eliminated. all players will remain in the game until the game ends, unless eliminated. the game automatically ends when both seeker and runner from one house are eliminated. alternatively, if three seekers have caught the correct runner, then the remaining seeker will be eliminated. an announcement will be made for players that have been eliminated. additionally, communication devices will be provided for runners and seekers of the same team.

MECHANICS

the rules for round one have been read! we’d like to extend a special thanks to all the elected members who have agreed to participate in this round.

the token distribution, unknown to the elected players, is as follows:

so sorry about this being late... i know i promised it forever ago, but i've been really worried about whether or not people will like these headcanons until i realized it doesn't really matter lmao. though here's a disclaimer anyway: i've absolutely used my creative liberty with these characters, and you'll probably have one or two moments where you go "they would never fucking say that," or something along those lines. these are just. blorbos that have been rotting in my brain and i have finally given them their poor little meow meow backstories that have absolutely nothing to do with canon. so :) just keep this in mind with these headcanons, and any future ones i post. i'm just throwing my 2 cents into the fandom, even if they are a very niche 2 cents.

HAVING ANOTHER MEMBER’S PHOTOCARD

pairing: nct dream x gn!reader wc: 712 genre: fluff warnings: slight profanity + mentions of insecurity

mark ! he does a double take when he sees renjun’s photocard in the back of your case. he stops the movie you’re both watching and turns to face you, the most serious expression ever on his face. “why is renjun in your phone case?” “why not?” the answer does not satisfy him at all. mark quite literally gets up and goes to his room to spam the groupchat with complaints and joking (kind of) threats towards renjun for ‘stealing his s/o’. renjun ends up spamming you, asking mark to back off and yelling about how he’s too young to die.

renjun ! you did this as a prank to see how your boyfriend would react. surprisingly he didn’t say much when he saw haechan’s photocard in your phone case. he eyed it wearily and seemed uneasy for the rest of the day. you didn’t expect renjun to be upset, knowing that he knew how much you loved him. but he couldn’t help but asking exactly why you had haechen’s photocard. you quickly explained that it was a joke and held your boyfriend in your arms the rest of the night.

jeno ! pouty. super pouty. spends the whole day overthinking and questioning why the hell you have jaemin’s photocard on the back of your phone. he doesn’t bring it up to you at first, trying to remember if he had seen you and jaemin together recently. jeno is trying to be a whole ass detective when in reality jaemin put the photocard there himself :/ “your friend put in in there you weirdo” “are you sure you don’t like jaemin more than me?” “keep talking and i’ll keep it there” that shuts him up immediately.

haechan ! he stops to look back and forth between you and the chenle photcard, wondering why you don’t have your own boyfriend in your phone case. haechan literally grabs your phone without warning, takes out chenle’s photocard and throws it away. “he’s my best friend :((“ “yeah but you could have your sexy, cooler and better boyfriend’s photocard” the next day he gives you one of his and makes sure that it stays on the back of your phone.

jaemin ! he’s. so. dramatic. about. it. starts going on and on about how much you don’t love him anymore because of jisung’s photocard in your phone case. you find it very amusing and decide to tease your boyfriend. jaemin doesn't find it so funny, deciding to give you the cold shoulder for the rest of the day. “i don’t want to change it…jisung looks so cute in that photo.” “haha so funny y/n…i hope i don’t wake up tomorrow” at some point jaemin genuinely starts to get insecure so you assure him that it’s all a prank and you only love him. of course the smugness returns and he does not stop bothering you until his photocard is secure in your case.

chenle ! he knows you way too well so he catches onto your prank right away :/ of course, chenle doesn’t let you know, simply acting as if she couldn’t care less about mark’s photocard. you watch him all day, making it obvious that you have mark on the back of your phone. chenle tried so hard not to blow his cover, wanting to laugh out loud from the disappointed look on your face. “you’re terrible at pranks” chenle chided when you removed mark’s photocard from your case. you shot him a glare, sending your boyfriend into a laughing fit. he 100% texts mark to make fun of you.

jisung ! he addresses the situation right away. jisung will pull you from whatever you’re doing, making sure that he has your full attention. “why is jeno in your phone case?” “because he’s cool” “but i’m cooler” “are you?” of course you’re joking, but this causes jisung to be pouty for the rest of the day. he knows that you’re joking, the two of you are dating! but he can’t help the small doubt that creeps in. jisung knows it dumb, but he ends up handing his photocard to you later the night, flashing you puppy dog eyes and an exaggerated frown. you can’t help but laugh, giving your boyfriend a kiss on the cheek before swapping out jeno’s photocard for jisung’s.

nct dream : them pulling you into their lap !

[✿] — MARK. he does this out of nowhere, especially when he’s bored and wants to cuddle. he watches you intently and adoringly while you’re doing your own thing. and when you pass by him, he grabs your wrist and pulls you gently towards him. hugs you from behind while you’re seated on his lap and always leaves a trail of feathery kisses on your shoulder and back of your neck and wordlessly holds you close, resting the side of his face on your back.

[✿] — RENJUN. he does this after bickering. you’re ready to stand up and walk away from him but he simply seizes you before you’re out of reach and pulls you in. holds you even closer and tighter if you protest, this will most likely turn into a play-fighting, both trying to keep serious faces but failing to prevent yourselves from grinning and laughing. kisses your cheek and says, “truce?”

[✿] — JENO. he does this out of habit. he’s talking to someone but when he notices you pass by or feels you near him, he takes your hand and gently pulls you to him, letting you sit on his lap, all the while continuing to talk with someone else. mindlessly traces little patterns on your back or thigh. this only happens around people you’re both comfortable with and he does this so often that it doesn’t even faze the other persons anymore.

[✿] — HAECHAN. he does this when he’s doing something but also wants to show you affection. distractedly says ‘come here, baby’ with his arms outstretched and pulls you to sit on his lap while he’s playing games or watching movies. looks at you briefly with a small smirk and a raised brow before he continues with whatever he’s doing. rests his chin on your shoulder sometimes or gives you distracted, lingering kisses on your neck although his eyes stay fixed on the screen.

[✿] — JAEMIN. he does this casually. most of the time he looks uninterested as he scrolls through his phone and when you pass by, he reaches out to grab you and pulls you into his lap without sparing you a glance. looks at you after a while and gives you a smile and says a simple ‘hi’ before peppering your face with quick kisses. shows you whatever he’s looking at or watching on his phone. this usually turns into lazy, cozy cuddling.

[✿] — CHENLE. he does this when he wants something from you, like begging you to try out the new restaurant with him this friday although you want to go to your usual place. basically encircles your waist and traps you in his arms. doesn’t let you go until you relent. “yes? okay? promise?” gives you a sweet peck and a beaming smile before releasing his tight hold on you.

[✿] — JISUNG. he does this to mess around. he hides himself in the shadows or in the corners of the house and steps out when you walk by, grabbing your waist with both hands and pulling you flush against his chest. this entails a lot of playful shoving from your side after recovering from your shock, and he laughs, refusing to budge and wrapping his arm around you.

Don’t immediately rush into wanting to comfort Donghyuk

He may just be having a mood that’s fine

first off haechan is my nct127 bias

would show up with snacks just in case you guys got hungry

“i got these sweet red bean breads that i saw on my way”

he’s wearing jeans and a sweater just in case things get messy

takes off his leather jacket and hoodie to spare them from getting ruined

is left in his plain white t-shirt

eventually the painting starts and not even halfway, there’s paint on the floor

“yah, i told you not to get paint on the floor!”

there’s michael jackson playing in the background

along with other upbeat songs

he can’t help but dip his finger in the paint and put some on your nose and cheek(s)

once you finished one wall you get him back by getting paint on his forehead

you decide its time for a break

you guys eat some of the snacks he brought waiting for dinner time to come by

helps you finish the next two sections

he writes your initials and his in a corner before painting over it quickly

the entire day is filled with giggles

the four walls are coated with paint finally

he changes into clothes he left at your place to go eat dinner

you follow and change into whatever you can find that’s decent

both of you settle for a restaurant right outside of the city that had a relaxing vibe to it

Mark - Raised with muggles. His maternal grandmother is a witch (Ilvermony Alumni). His mom didn't have magical inclination so when she married a muggle, the whole family thought Mark would be non-magical too. Him and his dad found out about the magical side after Mark got his letter. Orientation from his grandma (powerpoint included). His mom fully thought her mom was just going crazy until Mark fell out of their 3rd story apartment headfirst when he was 5 but when they went down to him he was floating 2 inches off the ground unharmed - they didn't tell his dad, just in case it was a fluke but they did take a full 5 min video of Mark just floating off the ground. Mark though he had superpowers til he was 11.

Haechan - Pure muggle parents but his dad's a famous muggle magician (so good even some witches and wizards go to his shows). Absolutely fascinated with magic and it's other aspects (OWLS: Divinations, Runes, Arithmancy. Fav subject is Astronomy). Top student in his chosen of electives (other classes uhh .. well). Didn't find out he was magical until his Hogwarts letter arrived. Used to tag along to some of his dad's shows so it's a little unclear if certain acts were magic tricks or magic magic.

the reason i said a tiny c essence/undertone is because i prefer him in more minimalist SD clothing, more detail does start to look a little ridiculous (i promise i mean that in the nicest way possible lol, don’t come for my entp ass)

the classic comes in cause he looks PHENOMENAL in traditionally classic lines with a little umph and also looser classic lines (the yin in SD)

i needed to include this masterpiece

taeyong: FG. ah yes, the debate about ty... some argue D but he just doesn’t have the vertical line

(sitting somewhere btween D and FG, but FG fits better)

obviously a yang type

but you immediately remove any sort of natural and SD cause he isn’t wide and he isn’t squishy

doesn’t have the vertical line for a D, even from a lower angle you don’t look at him and go “yes, hes really tall” and thats what Ds are really about

it doesn’t matter how tall someone actually is, its how tall they appear to be, and taeyong just looks his height

think about how well ty carries every concept

thats a FG thing. (i can’t find the exact quote but a staff member said that its really interesting to style ty because u can put so many elements on him without it overpowering him

yuta: FG. if taeyong is a FG then so is Yuta

somewhere on the spectrum between FG and D but has to be put in FG just cause a dramatic’s first and foremost trait is vertical line

my next guess would be SD but really he doesnt have enough yin in him, hes all sharp

but because hes sitting somewhere in between he’s not gonna carry as much detail as a “purer(?)” FG

hes 100% yang based but doesn’t have the vertical line of a pure D

this looks phenomenal

he looks like a friggin anime character excUse me sir

doyoung (dongyoung): SD. i’ve seen DC, and i do get the argument, but he isn’t as sharp as a DC would be.

you take a look at this and he just isn’t sharp in the way that seonghwa or vernon are

hes definitely a yang type but hes got an undercurrent of yin

how do i explain this

SDs actually have a lot more yin than DCs despite them being placed closer to dramatic in a lot of graphs. (you know the ones i’m talking about)

even if you could make an argument for vertical line (as i think doyoung has a moderate to long one)

kai (a DC/C) is over 180 and yes he has a vertical line, but he has more yang than doyoung - hes just more boxy and has less yin

when i’m having trouble typing an idol i start looking really heavily at outfits and how they suit each style

doyoung just doesn’t make classic suits pop in the way a DC would

he looks restricted and needs a little extra yin detail to match

the neck scarf with the draping absolutely ties this look together and he absolutely rocks it

he just doesn’t give me DC vibes and i really do think that SD fits him better

jaehyun: SC. leaning on pure classic with some sort of yin essence

okay, ngl i had problems with this one

I saw somewhere (probably reddit lmao) that jaehyun has a SD head on a not SD body... and i couldn’t agree more

my first instinct was to go to SD but really, he doesn’t have the vertical line and details don’t feel right

idk if its just how he’s styled but i really can’t find an era where i lOve what jaehyun is in

i genuinely think he’s just a larger boned SC with some SD mixed in with a weird combo of essences

a good example of a SC ish look is this where you can see the moderate vertical line (despite being 5′11/180)

it might be my personal bias coming in but i really do like him in more minimal and somewhat looser clothing opposed to him drowning in details

this confuses me cause it feels like it should work but it doesn’t...

this looks awesome this is pretty darn decent but i still feel like something is missing

because really, hes just too tall to be a DC,

too box like for SD

and his skin is much too yin to be a pure D (he is very squish, a true D - wonwoo svt is taught and yang through and through)

and once you rule out DC cause of height you’re kinda left with??

but his vertical line is just too prominent to be a DC, but hes not as shoulder heavy as most FNs and just?

i actually like him in stuff like this, if not a little less oversized, he just looks so cozy

this gets close-ish but he looks a tad bit constricted

the reason i finally just gave in to FN is cause its as close as i think i can get. SD and D aren’t right, hes not a SN or pure N (jun svt) and in this pic (and others) you can kinda start to see that he IS actually more frame dominant than you first expect. (think like yanan pentagon, - minus the shoulders - super long limbs, lanky but still relatively squarish)

so FN it is

tldr: FN with a classic essence cause really thats (imo) the closest and best option you have and confused kpop fan

haechan (donghyuck): G. right now i would put him in pure G but he might hit FG at some point in the future cause he isn’t 21 in international age and his type is still settling

boom vs resonance

okay its not that different but i sWEar hes picked up more yang somewhere

not a SG because his isn’t absolutely massive in comparison to the rest of his body

iKON reacting to being flirted by a male barista [2/2]

Donghyuk:

It’s a known fact among ikon and fans that Donghyuk is a coffee lover, so it’s not a surprise to spot him at a café or with a said drink in his hands.

He discovers a new coffee shop when he and a few other members are out filming something for ikon tv. They have a short break, and Donghyuk left the others for the sake of getting his hands around a warm cup of coffee.

Pleased with his new discovery, he walks in and looks around for a bit – taking in the various posters, pictures, plants and other small but pleasant decorations placed around. The place is small and Donghyuk feels relieved when he only sees you behind the desk.

As he steps closer towards you and the cash register, the male gets a better view of your handsome and sharp features which he compliments you on. Though Donghyuk already knows what he’s going to order, he still takes another minute to observe the menu as well as he smugly gazes upon your still shocked face.

Donghyuk ends up leaving the café 15 minutes later with an even more pleasing smile – having enjoyed the coffee and you trying your best to flirt back. Not to mention the number pleased safely in his wallet.

Junhoe:

Junhoe is either extremely confident or somewhat socially dumb at times, if not a mix of both. Of course, he knows better than to waltz into a crowded shop to order a drink without some sort of mask, but that does not make him more oblivious.

Having lost a paper, rock, scissors battle, he grumpily finds the nearest and best café, wanting to get his and his members’ orders done and paid for already.

After a nice conversation and you flirting with Chanwoo in between just to see his lips tug up in an adorable smile, he feels much better and the annoyance he felt for Song is long gone.

༉˚ he loves doodling in your notebooks or on your skin. it’s an endearing little habit. sometimes, during your study or work sessions, you take a toilet break and when you’re back, you find cute little drawings with short, encouraging message in the corner of your book. he always acts like he didn’t do it but you don’t need to ask. you just smile and continue your work, feeling even more energized and uplifted. and sometimes, when you’re out with friends, he lets you talk while he borrows a pen and lazily doodles the sun with a smiley face and your initials with a heart.

༉˚ him patiently listening to you ramble. sometimes you hesitate and your words trail off or you abruptly come to a stop because you’re worried that you might annoy him by talking too much. but he only smiles at you and says, “why’d you stop? tell me more, i’m listening,”

༉˚ him laying his head on your thighs while watching tv, both of you drifting in and out of sleep. at some point, he gives up on trying to stay awake and turns away from the tv, wrapping his arms around your waist. he presses closer against you, relishing the heat radiating from your body. his eyes flutter open and he smiles fondly at your sleeping face, serene and soft. he presses a small kiss on your stomach before falling asleep.

༉˚ he loves your cheeks — it doesn’t matter if they’re chubby or not. he loves pinching them, he loves leaving little kisses on them. sometimes when it’s cold, he rubs his cheeks against yours before cupping them with his gloved hands and leaving a big kiss on your left cheek. or sometimes, when you’re nagging or sulking at him, he pushes your cheeks together with one hand to form a pout and kisses your lips then pulls away with a small smirk and a soft look in his eyes.

༉˚ one day, you’re having a tickle war, rolling around on bed, pushing each other away but also pulling each other back when one is about to fall off. when you have both calmed down, you meet his gaze, a goofy grin lingering on your lips but your smile softens as you see the way he’s looking at you like you hung the moon. “y/n, this is it for me, you know. you’re the one i want to spend the rest of my life with. you’re it. you’re the one.”
