The Blob is back in this horrific tale about a vile, malignant life-form that crashes to Earth in a cozy, rural American town called Arborville. Untroubled by conscience or intellect, the Blob does only one thing – and it does it well. It eats anything and everything that moves: men, women, and children. And tonight it wants to swallow the town of Arborville.

Happy Birthday Scottish supermodel Kirsty Hume, born in Ayr,  September 4th 1976.
Kirsty Hume’s love was painting, drawing inspiration from the countryside and influenced at a young age by the likes of Salvador Dalí, Pablo Picasso, and folk artist. As the years passed and men noticed her wherever she went, Kirsty decided that her artistic endeavors might have to take a backseat to something more lucrative for a while. At the age of fourteen, tragedy struck when her mother passed away. Her life was scattered amongst many relatives, and soon she got a lucky break and was signed with a modeling agency in Glasgow.
1995 was a breakout year for her, with many Vogue, Elle, Allure and Harper’s Bazaar shoots, two years later she married Calvin Klein model  Donovan Leitch Jr, son of our very own Donovan of Mellow Yellow fame!. The marriage wasn’t to last and they  divorced in 2014, following a 3-year long separation.Amongst her modelling work she has done shoots for modeled for Dior, Givenchy, Chanel, Lanvin, Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Lacroix, Gianfranco Ferré, Claude Montana, Alexander McQueen, Giorgio Armani, Gianni Versace, Roberto Cavalli, Prada, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and of course those Victoria Secret shots.
Kirsty quit modelling for a time to go through art college in New York, returning to modelling in her thirties, at 46 she is still doing fashion shots and of course still looks great.
Kirsty has since found love once more and was all set to get married in Scotland on June but it fell  foul of the pandemic restrictions. In an interview early on in the year she said that for their honeymoon they might just rent a Bothy, I think she meant a cottage as I only know of one Bothy in Scotland that has electricity! She finally tied the knot in a sweet ceremony in the Highlands last June,  marrying chocolate magnate Frederick Schilling in an intimate affair at the Monachyle Mhor Hotel.
She still spends time in Scotland, her father now lives in Dunfermline, and whilst visiting she admitted she admitted she misses Ayr and that when she used to arrive  back the first thing she would do was have fish and chips and go for a walk on the beach and just breathe in lungfuls of clean sea air. While her home may be California nowadays, she added “I will always consider Scotland home. When I step off the plane in Scotland, I always feel like I’m home.”

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the late, great Kevin Ayers, Angela Bassett, Eric Bibb, me, John Bosco, Vanessa Carlton, Robert Culp, Bill Evans, Tim Farriss, Snowy Fleet (Easybeats), Flood, Ernie “Raunchy” Freeman, Eydie Gormé, Bob Hardy (Franz Ferdinand), Barry Hay (Golden Earring), Al Hibbler, Timothy Hutton, Eddie Kirkland, T.E. Lawrence, Donovan Leitch Jr., Ketty Lester, Gary Loizzio (American Breed), Madonna, Julie Newmar, Fess Parker, The Ramones 1974 debut at CBGBs, Rina Sawayama, Billy Joe Shaver, Bill “Sputnik” Spooner (The Tubes), Glenn Strange, Emily Strayer, James JT Taylor (Kool & The Gang), Russ Titleman, Taika Waititi, Eric Weissburg, The 1969 Woodstock Music Festival (Day 2), Wilhelm Wundt, and my pal, bandmate, comic wit, and unbelievably extraordinary singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Eric Biondo a.k.a. Beyondo. His astonishing resume includes music-making with Antibalas, Charlie Hunter, Angelique Kidjo, The Monkees, TV on the Radio, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, & other luminaries. Eric & I have done a few music projects, but we put in many years together playing in the Davy Jones/Monkees orbit. Davy was a huge fan of Eric’s music and repeatedly said he wanted to cover Eric’s songs. On a cosmic jukebox Beyondo’s music plays next to Hall & Oates, Todd Rundgren, Steely Dan, and Brian Wilson. For surreal but hooky pop, dance music, and jazz-inflected soundscapes for theatre of the mind, check out Eric’s bandcamp https://beyondo.bandcamp.com ...Meanwhile, HB EB and thank you for your funnybone gifts to the world.

Hii babe💕 i hope you’re doing well ✨ i was wondering if you knew anything about donovans groupies, if he ever had any or not 🙌🏻
Thank you and have a nice day 💘✨
Hi darling, thank you for your lovely message ✨💖✨
Actually we are not very familiar with Donovan, so we went to Who's Dated Who website and checked what it says in there (it is a website where all the information is added by fans/users so sometimes is not very complete or up to date for some celebrities).
In there, it says he dated actress and singer Dana Gillespie, but it doesn't say when nor any details.
Tumblr media
From 1965 to 1970 he dated Enid Karl, a model who actually is the mother of Ione Skye and Donovan Leitch Jr.
Tumblr media
The information on the site goes as follows: "[Donovan] Leitch’s parents met in Los Angeles in 1965; Enid Stulberger worked at the Whisky, and Donovan was headlining there on his first U.S. tour. They broke up when their son was a toddler, and the two Donovans didn’t reconnect until the boy was in his late teens".
Then, on Ione Skye's wikipedia it says: "Skye's parents were separated at the time of her birth [4th September 1970], and she was raised by her mother, having little to no contact with her father".
Then, 1968 he fell in love with model Jenny Boyd. By then she actually had given up modelling and was working for the Beatles’ store The Apple Boutique. It was there that she met Scottish singer Donovan, who wrote that famous ballad with its lyrics,
‘Jennifer Juniper, lilacs in her hair
Is she dreaming? Yes, I think so
Is she pretty? Yes, ever so.’
‘He declared love,’ she smiles. But she wasn’t tempted.
Tumblr media
Here's a photo of the couple at his Pre-Raphaelite style infrared photo shoot for his album, Wear Your Love Like Heaven, at Bodiam Castle, East Sussex. There is much more information in her biography Jennifer Juniper: A Journey Beyond the Muse.
Then, in 1970 he married actress Linda Lawrence (well, I know she is not a groupie of his, then, but I'd like to add here here as well).
Tumblr media
"The two had met 4 years earlier [ca. 1967] (when Don became friends with Brian Jones) and he would continue to randomly meet Linda occasionaly through out the decade while she modeled in London. During those years, Donovan had tried repeatedly to court Linda, but she was reluctant as she still felt some attachment to Brian Jones for their son Julian's sake, even though the feelings were mutual. During a short time the late '60s, Linda and Julian would live in California, where for a period they shared in an apartment with fellow rock girlfriend Catherine James and her son. It wasn't until a year after Brian's death [he died on July 3, 1969] that Linda gave into to her attraction to Donovan and create a marriage that has lasted to this day.
After marrying Linda, Donovan officially adopted Julian as his son (and took his surname Leitch), and the couple also have two daughters, Astrella Celeste and Oriole Nebula. Linda has been Donovan's muse for over 40 years and songs such as ‘Catch the Wind’, ‘Sunshine Superman’, ‘Hampstead Incident,’ ‘Young Girl Blues’ , ‘Legend of a Girl Child Linda’ and ‘Lalena’ were written for her".
--
That's all the information I could get, but I ampretty sire that great blogs like @groupiesoutrageously have tons of information and even more reliable and complete than what I've posted.
Thank you foryour question nonetheless!!!! Have a great day!!!! 💞🌾💞🌺💞🌻💞
