now im a little stumped on this one because i really dont think the "reader" would be buddy buddy with jax... or maybe they would be... hmm.. on one hand i can see them scolding him for pushing his pranks 'too far' (ex. the ragatha centipede thing, assuming he actually did it), but i can also see a "supportive figure and rebellious kid" dynamic. except jax isnt a kid but you are old enough be his dad, probably.. i think ill just leave that here since i dont have any other ideas

POMNI:

youve been here for a while, so i think naturally pomni would gravitate towards you in order for possible solutions and escape routes, perhaps she would approach kinger, too... but this isnt about kinger </3. fine line between outright shattering their hope but also instilling it, neither are great options... one can lead to despair and the other to obsession; both will lead to abstraction... but theres also the fact none of your past attempts at escape had been successful, nor did you ever find any leads. as for actual potential friendship i think you would take the same route as ragatha in the pilot; show her around and explain things to her in a fairly digestible way. as well as this you tend to gravitate towards her during her first IHA until she gets the hang of them; typically making sure she doesnt get lost or hurt, as well as giving her pointers that could help with the task at hand

KINGER:

writing kinger first, you guys are like the dads of the circus. you more so because you still have a decent hold of yourself. you were there when queener/queenie abstracted, and you were there for kinger during the still on going grieving process. as for actually friendship ideas, you two just sit and talk to one another. thats it, really. i could go on about all the things you two do together, and i probably would since kinger is my favorite and this post is literally about my oc... but i truly dont see these two getting up to anything insane outside of IHA. kinger needs someone to help him fill the silence, and you would be there. and vice versa, i think... bonus, you dont like bugs but you still grin and bare it while listening to kinger rattle on about his cool bug facts... i think that would be nice..

ZOOBLE:

optimistic dad who likes fishing and moody teen who bullies kids on roblox. thats literally the dynamic, except again, zooble is an adult and the reader has no kids... but hey its the same energy. tries to get zooble to engage with IHA but not in a pushy way but more in like... an inviting them to pair with them for comfort and security kind of way. sure you understand that they dont like them because theyre just so over everything but you want them to be included, especially since the IHA are meant to stimulate your minds and keep you guys grounded

GANGLE:

honestly i think you just adopt half of the cast at this point, the only people who arent your kids are ragatha caine and kinger... everyone else gets passed around in split custody/j now onto gangle, you probably try to give her peptalks to make her feel better as well as fixing her comedy mask anytime it breaks. as well as this i think you and her sit down and do arts n crafts together, perhaps even making new masks altogether... i like to think gangle hears a few... things about the others and knows things since shes so quiet and in the background so theres definitely some 'gossip' between the two of you... but not in a shit talking way, no i dont think either of you are like that, rather more so just talking about the others

BONUS STUFF:

you call gangle, zooble, jax, and pomni generic 'dad nicknames' so like. think sport, champ, bud, pal. stuff like that, with varying reactions... i think gangle wouldnt fight it and actually appreciates it. zooble scoffs and rolls their eyes, jax plays into it while loudly and obnoxiously calling you dad. (whenever you ask him to do something he loudly goes like "okay DAAAAAAD" before likely not doing the thing that was asked of him), pomni is just confused really since shes not all that used to it. huh. guess youre a dad of 4 now

you and ragatha tend to clean up after the others, leaving you two alone and you guys just. talk as you clean. probably do impressions of the others in a really comical and dramatic as well as exchanging stories

you and kinger hunt for new pillows to add to his fort. you try to coax him into stepping out of the tent and explore the grounds, so far you're unsuccessful

touching on the gossip thing from gangles part caine probably tries to ask you for some "juicy drama" about the others. who is having issues with her, whos crushing on who, stuff like that... i think caine would try to play matchmaker if there actually is someone who has a crush on someone else... this goes for the current cast as well as those who have come and gone from the digital circus (cough cough abstracted)

He doesn’t know how to say it.

It doesn’t matter how long he’s thought of it, how long the words have been lingering, just on the tip of his tongue, only half a kiss away from being confessed against your mouth, his fingers tangled in your hair- a raw, vulnerable permanence to whatever - whatever this is, whatever this he has with you.

He doesn’t dare to call it love, although it is what it is- love in the curve of your lips and the shine of your eyes; soft, tender love in the gentleness of your hands when you hold him, love, tender and soft in your brushing kisses and your pretty smiles, etched deep into the ancient floors and walls of his castle, a place warmed once more by your presence and your love, a place he can call home once more.

It’s love, and he’s sure the both of you know it is, but -

Vlad Tepes Dracula does not know how to tell you he loves you, and he’s not even sure if he wants to—and he doesn’t want to admit it, because then it will mean that it’s real, that this is actually happening—because he’s afraid. No amount of denying will take it back, not when the truth is so terrifyingly, blatantly obvious, a laughing mockery in his face.

Love has not been kind to him. He had loved Lisa, true and with all of his heart (or what was left anyway), and it had torn him apart, it had unraveled him at the seams and it had left him wounded and bleeding. It had left an empty, bloodied cavern in his chest, and it had bruised him black and blue with anger and grief. Love has not been kind to him, and yet here he is again, afraid of it and yet so deeply, desperately, pathetically in love anyway.

It’s almost laughable- how far the great Vlad Tepes Dracula, King of Vampires, has fallen from grace, but here he is, finding something suspiciously like happiness in that endearing way you laugh, in the way it makes your eyes crease at the corners like half-moons, your dimples curving.

Starlight gleams on your skin and the color of your eyes when you open them, lashes fluttering, feeling his gaze, and you’re so achingly beautiful like this—the midnight breeze in your hair, the moonlight shimmering on your skin, the gentle lilt of your laughter, and that soft, tender love in your eyes—and all he wants to do is cradle you close, hold you to his chest and tell you that the heart inside, as broken and black and withered as it is, beats for you and you only, and he longs for it so much that the very thought of anything else aches.

“Vlad, are you alright?” you ask, leaning in, concern in your frown as you peer searchingly at him, a delicate hand coming to cup his cheek; and this close he can smell the sweetness of your scent of lavender and cinnamon, see the galaxies of stars in your wide, beautiful eyes, feel the softness of your skin if he chooses to reach out.

And he does, curls an arm around your waist and steals a kiss, achingly tender and soft, reveling in the way you melt unthinkingly into it, into him - and he should really tell you to be careful, that he could hurt you - he’s selfish. Always has been, and with you around, he thinks he always will be.

“I’m fine, dearest. Just thinking.” He breathes into your hair, presses a kiss to your temple, cradling you close, and there must be some somber quality to his voice, or maybe it’s the mournful sigh that accompanies his words that does it, but he thinks you know, in that moment - he thinks you understand in the way you soften into his embrace, arms winding around his neck and pulling him closer—if even possible—into your warmth.

“It’s okay, you know. We’re gonna be okay.”

You murmur in his ear, leaving a soft kiss to the side of his jaw, before you tuck your head in the crook of his neck, and god, he loves you. He just can’t say it yet. And despite the tears that pearl in the corners of his eyes, he thinks that that’s okay. He’s bruised black and blue by a burnt out anger and resignation and grief, and he needs time to heal but you understand and it’s okay. There’s nothing more he can ask for, and while love hasn’t been kind to him, Vlad thinks another chance is worth it if it means having you in his arms like this again.

Not me seeing so much discourse about whether sukuna is a well written villain or not... he essentially has no backstory shown as of yet and we barely know anything about him but he is still one of the most naturally interesting and compelling characters in the whole damn series bro 💀 buckle up bc its about to get lengthy (im just glazing sukuna in this post ngl so 🧎‍♀️)

so many whiny ass mfs are weeping about how he "doesn't have any personal goals or a proper reason to be a villain" when that is the whole point???? He lives on his own desires and satisfactions and does whatever he wants to, because he is capable enough to do that. Mfs want "real villains" but cant even handle sukuna 💀 ive seen too many shit ass threads and poorly articulated "critiques" on his character that dont make any valid points. If you can't even separate your personal dislike of a character from your analysis of their writing, dont even bother posting that shit please 😭😭😭 the fact that we haven't even gotten any information about his background yet and people are jumping the gun about him being "poorly written" is already saying a lot 🤨

The fact that yall are so bitter and angry about him that you can write 500+ words about how oh-so-terrible of a villain he is kinda proves that he's doing his job well tbh 💁‍♀️

What also bothers me to no END is how people compare him with villains of other series, who had compelling sob stories that made people empathise with them. Thats nice and all but why should all villains have grand ideals and be subject to feelings of empathy/sympathy from their audience?

Part of what makes sukuna so interesting is how he's not tied down by morals, rules or long term goals in life. He doesn't limit himself, which is what makes him an unpredictable character. He's completely left behind what it means to be human in many ways, and he's clearly not a character written to be empathised with. He is very purposefully inhumane and distant from everyone else, and that feeling transcends from within the series to real life as well. There is a clear lack of understanding bc most of us can't comprehend what its like to just live without being goal-oriented.

Sukuna is a true anomaly in the sense that he doesnt really fit in any kind of box within the series. He's born from man, but its clear that he separates himself from humans (and nobody else considers him human, either). He's not a cursed spirit. He hovers between life and death. The narrator referred to him as the honoured one, whilst angel referred to him as the disgraced one.

These little contradictions in his character make him all the more complicated and interesting to think about. And even recently, he's been shown to waver a little bit momentarily in the manga, questioning his own irritation at yuuji. He's capable of self reflection, and though sukuna does whatever he wants for the most part, he doesn't blindly go into things without some thought first, he's a constant thinker and analyser, and an intelligent one at that.

And honestly, he is always such a joy to watch and read, his personality is so flavourful, and the way he carries himself is very attractive. He's not afraid to get messy or of getting hurt, theres so much chaos in the way he does things and yet he also has a huge element of gracefulness to him, which shines through the poetic way he speaks. Its undeniable that sukuna simply oozes charisma...

And this isnt talked about enough but this man is genuinely so effortlessly funny (in a kind of sinister way i guess?) Like yes he is an old ass man having real beef with one FIFTEEN YEAR OLD for very little reason, he accidentally healed yuujis arm and somehow expected him to be grateful for it despite how he literally ripped his heart out afterwards, then he proceeded to sit on him after kicking him down likeeee 😭 what kind of behaviour is this sir

His facial expressions at yorozus yapping 💀 THE WAY HE COMPARED YUUJIS FACE OF DESPAIR TO THE HARIMA STATUE 😭😭😭💀😭💀💀😭 omg that was so foul but i was fucking losing it ngl

How he randomly compared gojo to a fish and started talking abt his scales... thats a very unique and descriptive comparison, isnt it? Why is it I always pine at 2am for relationships I’m afraid I’m never going to have because I can’t give what people look for in them.

I want a partner I can hug. I can cuddle with, I can dote on, I can offer emotional intimacy and gifts to. I can kiss all over their face and on their head. We can share a bed, fall asleep in each others arms.

But I can’t offer anything more physical out of my own enjoyment. I dont find kissing on the lips appealing. I don’t find sex with another person appealing. I’m afraid I’ll be stuck with a partner whom I have to tolerate certain things with in order to have the things that I crave.

I’m aromantic but I’m romance-positive. I want that emotional intimacy. I’d just. I don’t know the difference between what’s romantic or platonic beyond kissing on the lips. And that’s honestly a nauseating idea for me.

I’m asexual but I’m sex-neutral leaning positive. Part of me wants to give it a shot, but the other part of me says it would also be nauseating. The thought of that kind of intimacy scares me, and I know I’d have to be with a partner for months or years before I even think about opening up like that.

I’m terrified I’m going to be alone because of this. And I can’t imagine what those who are romance and sex negative think. I just.

I want someone I can lean on and hold, and be leaned on and be held by.

And I’ve been told that’s conditional. And I can’t meet the conditions. And I’m scared. I have so much love to give. I want to share it. Fingers in their hair, kisses on their forehead, hugs for far too long. I need this. Please.

I hope I can find this someday. And I hope I’m not alone in feeling this way. And I hope everyone reading this finds someone to fulfill their needs without asking for too much.

Colby was holding a party at his apartment, and you definitely had to much to drink. You were mostly hanging around Tara, who was also drunk. "Y'know girl I love you so much." Tara says over the music. "Omg I love you too!" You feel a hand placed on your arm. You look up to see Sam. "Hey cutie." Your words are s bit slurred, but your confident smile remains on your face.

"Hi Y/n. Lets get you back to our apartment?" He smiles and softly tugs on your arm. "But I'm hanging out with Tara, i don't want to leave her." You look back to her as Jake walks up. "It's ok, I'm gonna take her home too, so you dont have to leave eachother." Jake smiles as he moves Tara towards the door.

"Oh ok." Sam takes your cup out of your hands and tosses it in the sink before walking out. You can kind of walk on your own but Sam is able to catch you when you stumble. Once you make it too his apartment, you make your way to the couch and plop down as he locks the door and sets his stuff down.

"You need to change." He says walking up to you. "Ok." You attempt to stand up but you fall back slightly. "Ugh these shoes." You toss them off and stood up this time, slowly making your way to the room. You feel Sam's arms on you and suddenly your lifted up from the ground, your arms immediately moving to his neck.

"I've got a strong boyfriend to carry me. How lucky am i?" He laughs at your statement and sets you down on the bed. "Very lucky. Here are your pajamas, do need help unzipping your dress?" He sets down a pair of shorts and a hoodie. You nodd and he moves to unzip the zipper.

"There. Do you need any more help?" He asks. "No." You manage to pull your dress off and change as Sam was in the kitchen. He comes back with a closed cup with s straw. "Drink as much of this water as you can, I'm going to change and then we can go to bed, ok?" He hands you the cup. "Ok." You sit back up on the bed, sticking your legs under the covers.

He comes out of the bathroom to find you giggling at something on your phone. "What's so funny?" He asks climbing in bed next to you. "Look at this monkey." You show your phone and it's a picture of a monkey dressed up. "You ready for bed?" Sam asks with a smile.

You set your phone down, along with your cup. You move to where you're laying on top of him. "I love you so much Sam." You mumble. "I love you more Y/n." You fall asleep to his hands playing with your hair and the sound of his heart beat in your ears.

The next morning was very loud, Sam had you take Advil and drink more water. Even though your hangover wasn't too bad it still took a small toll on you. wasn't gonna stop you from drinking more later that night though.

you're one of the few of my fav streamers i actually get to watch live due to timezones which i appreciate you for. but, i also wish you'd treat yourself better and end your streams earlier

i super appreciate this anon, this is definitely very very real. i actually had a discussion about this to my friends late last night concerning my workload of streams and the particularly unhealthy habits ive developed as a (for lack of better term) "endurance" streamer. it's tough because it is like... my main source of income, so i do often find that i have to stream A LOT in order to make ends meat. most times i find that when i am streaming for like 7 hours+ i am just Having Fun with the game im playing and i tend to lose track of time, but if you notice that the past several weeks theres been a noticeable uptick of my streaming days since late august-early september. i'm going to speak real here so be fore-warned: i do not make a lot of money as a streamer. i dont think anyone does. in today's climate, i am making Just Enough to pay my bills, rent, and groceries. as long as that minimum threshold is being met, im usually quite happy to continue on with what i do. however, for me, entertaining people online with funny streams has never been about the monetary value of it all. since day ONE, it's never been. but, speaking as an adult who lives alone in a big city, it's also an unfortunate reality that i have to bring to the forefront. it's why the rent/bills tip bar is on the screen so often. honestly, it kind of bums me out to bring it to the forefront so often, but that's a conversation for another day. however, i am definitely afraid that if i am not Streaming Enough, then i won't be able to make my monthly rent and bills. that is not to say that i dont enjoy streaming or that i am unhappy with my current schedule (quite the opposite, i love streaming a little TOO much LOL) - every day i thank the stars in the sky that i get to do what i REALLY want to do in this day and age. but, i guess the problem i'm having is just striking that balance. i really dont give myself a lot of time for a break and, to say that i am on the cusp of burning out is... not to far off from the truth. i do want to make it abundantly clear however: i am currently NOT in burn out mode, but i'm sure the worry is that i will eventually reach that point sooner than later, yeah? anyways, just a couple of thoughts to think about while i write out this whole thing. i'm okay, i will be doing okay, and for the foreseeable future, i will be fine. if anything, if you are worried: the best thing yall could do is just show up for the streams and have fun! that's all i could ever ask. as long as youre having fun, thats all that matters to me. if you laughed and clapped and enjoyed yourselves in any of the stuff i do, then i super appreciate that! thank you!

rubs your back, hands & shoulder a lot as you tell him, hes tired and just wants to make you feel better, but the more you sob & talk, the more curious he gets, so he pops the question

he didnt mean to put it like that, he knows it was an accident, but his phrasing isnt always the best

however, he is wide awake once youve explained everything, your past, your ex, what they did, and as he sits there quietly listening, he is only seeing red

he thinks so highly of you, why the fuck would anyone do this to you?

he wants the names of them, he is determined to come across them, and inflict nothing short of torture, you didnt deserve any of that

he'll lay off on his famous comments, respecting what he just learned, he doesnt want to lose you, so he adapts his usual demeanor so you arent afraid of him, true fear is reserved for his victims

he praises you a lot since learning it, reassuring you quietly & in his own little ways

he does his best to understand, word will get around the family, and everyone understands, mama is literally so sympathetic towards you & baby likes to talk shit alot abt them with your permission

"Uhhh... nothing" dew said, turning his back to him.

Dew and rain had walked into the common room earlier, cooing over something he was holding and now they wouldn't let aether see.

"Thats it. Show me what you have or im taking it away" aether grumbled, rising from the couch and stomping over to the corner where dew and rain were huddled up. Rain whipped his head around and hissed, even though he knew it wouldn't make the taller ghoul back off. Without speaking, aether grabbed dews arms and shoved his hands apart

"WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT" he screamed. Jumping back

"Possum" dew mumbled

"We found it in the garden. his name is buio and hes our son" rain added, reaching out to pet it's head

"Where the HELL did you get a possum what the fuck" aether growled

"The garden, rain just said that. Dumbass"

"Ok well put it back! That shit probably has rabies!" Aether yelled

Rain pouted at aether before turning back to fawn over the little ball of fluff.

"Nope. Nope nope nope get it OUT" aether said, reaching out to grab the possum

"Run?"

"Run."

Rain and dew took off, speeding out the door and down the hall with aether in toe, screaming about how it could have diseases or what if it bites them.

Both of them ran full speed into mountians room, rain slamming the door behind them and leaving aether outside, still going on and on about how bad if an idea this was.

"What-"

Mountian was cut off by the door smacking against the wall with a loud thud.

"THEY FOUND A FUCKING POSSUM"

"aether wants to take away our kid" rain whined, hiding dew and the baby behind him. "Hes so mean"

"Alright everyone out. Lets go get copia and see what he thinks of this"

"NO! Copia will make us put it back" rain hissed, still glaring at aether

"Good! Its a wild animal!"

"And you're a ghoul! What are you scared?" Dew teased, holding the fuzzy animal out towards aether like it was a sword.

"What?! No dont be ridiculous, its just a baby, it cant do anything... right?" Aether said, slowly backing away.

"Oooooh the big man is scared of a possum oooo~" dew mocked him, stepping closer.

It really was just a baby, couldn't be more than two weeks old. It's eyes twinkled and it had just the slightest bit of fuzz.

"I- im not scared of some dumb animal!"

Aether tried to sound like he was being genuine, but it sounded like more of a squeal

"Then prove it big man, pet. the. possum." The baby squeeked and wriggled in dews hand.

"I dont have to prove anything to you!"

"You big baby" rain giggled, reaching out to scratch under the animals chin. "Look at how cute it is! Its nothing to be afraid of"

"Im not afraid! Im very tough."

Aether said, taking another step back so that he was pressed against the wall.

"Yeah, if tough is being terrified of this" dew laughed, stepping forward to emphasize his words.

Aether yelped, looking the possum dead in the eyes. "Fine! Ill touch it if you shut up"

"Do it do it do it!" rain chanted over dews shoulder. With one trembling hand aether reached out, gently placing his hand onto the creatures head.

"Oh" he said, softly rustling it's fur. The possum purred, nuzzling itself further into his hand. "I- i guess its kind of cute.." he said.

"See? Its ok big guy" rain cooed "do you want to hold it?"

"No. Petting it is enough thanks..." aether said, drawing his hand back.

"Wait, were you actually scared?" Rain asked. Aether nodded, looking down. He almost seemed... ashamed?

"Oh honey, im sorry..." rain said, stepping forward and grabbing his face. "I didnt.. we didnt realize that"

"Yeah, im really sorry aeth" dew mumbled.

"Hey can yall lovebirds leave please, this is my room ya'know." Mountian grumbled.

"Oh shit sorry mount, we'll go" rain said, gathering up the others and shooing them out the door.

Walking back to the common room, rain grabbed aether's hand, gently interlocking their fingers.

"Im really sorry sweetheart, i didnt know.." he whispered

"Its... its fine" aether mumbled

"No its not" dew said, rounding the corner into the common room "I think theres a box in here somewhere, we can put it in there for now."

Rain grabbed a cardboard box and some blankets, trying to make a comfortable nest for the baby "there we go, put him in here" he said, holding the box out to dew, who put down the possum, who nuzzled into the soft plush almost immediately.

"There we go, its gone now big guy." Rain purred, putting the box onto the coffee table.

"Thank you.." aether mumbled, still stating at the floor.

"Come on baby, do you want to cuddle?" Dew cooed, slouching down into the couch.

Aether nodded grabbing rains hand and pulling him down onto the couch.

"Can we still keep it? I promise we wont even make you look at it if you dont want to." Rain asked, settling down into aethers lap.

"I think that would be ok.." he mumbled, resting his head on dews chest.

"Alright baby boy, just let us know if we ever do anything that makes uncomfortable" dew purred, playing with aethers hair. Aether nodded, yawning into dews shirt.
