Entry two: Date November 10th 1898
Today is the first day I have taken a chance to examine Dracula in full. Specimen appears to be a rather fit man of Eastern-European descent in his mid-twenties to early thirties with a height that measures 198.12 centimetres in full. Weight seems to be around 100 kg. However, that is where the features between him and humanity end, for his eyes seem to shift between a vivid scarlet and an orange colour similar to that found during the hours of dawn and dusk. The pupils are also odd, sometimes reacting and looking like a humans, other times seeming to become cat-like and turning into slits. It should also be noted that the specimen is in possession of more than two pairs of eyes, and seems to have an endless amount, possibly thousands. The hair too, is strange, acting more like shadows, and always moving, even when there's not a breeze about. Why this is, I have yet to understand. Perhaps vampires are of a more non-Euclidian nature than previously thought.
That, or Dracula is so immensely old, he has managed to transcend that of your average vampire, for even the creature that poor Ms. Westerna became pales in comparison to this creature. Alas, I get ahead of myself.
The teeth of Dracula is especially odd, the upper canines at rest, do seem to be much longer than that of a human, but upon moments of intense emotion the rest of the teeth, which usually bare a more human appearance, suddenly become quite jagged and sharp. It should be noted that the teeth become like this when feeding as well, which suggests that perhaps a vampire's diet consists of more than just blood, for such teeth seem quite specialized for ripping and tearing into flesh. Perhaps some vampires may also feast upon the flesh of their victims as well. It could also be that causing large wounds are also more beneficial in getting more blood. In either case, the teeth are fascinating and require more in-depth observation. Perhaps I shall acquire a goat and have Dracula bite into, so that I may study the bite marks created, for on previous Victims, I have only ever found pin pricks, quite at odds with the jagged dental I see in Dracula.
The hands of the creature are also of nature, possessing strangely long fingers that are rather rough and calloused for a man of noble bearings, and the nails themselves usually keep themselves rather short, though on occasion I have witnessed them become quite claw-like in nature. Perhaps in the event a weapon is not available, or if one doesn't want to bite down, the nails are used in place of such.
The muscles of this creature is also strange, being rather lean and yet the individual is capable of impressive feats, carrying with ease objects that would normally take six grown men to carry and treating the objects as if they were merely made of air. It's quite fascinating and I wonder if I were to open the creature up, if the internals would bear even more secrets.
