Mhmmm, in the movie the female character said “I was very young when I lost my mother...I lost my father one year ago as well." Then camera turned to them. She spoke to him so seriously and her voice was full of emotions. It's like she couldn't find any words strong enough to describe how glad she is to have him.

It reminded me of this scene again. Sigh.

He makes her life easier and happier. She knows it and it's him who she exactly needs in this life. I know family is also important but let me say this without meaning malice. Ömer is kinda someone who tires people out. Pessimistic, angry, always complaining and makes you stressful with his panic and agressive nature. I am not saying Ömer is bad, he has serious problems and I love their twins bond. I always enjoy watching their scenes but truth is truth. Asiye needs someone who spirits her up, makes her forget sorrowful moments and feel her like she is never alone, also reminds her that she is a teenager too.

The movie they were watching made it clear. I am for once surprised by this subtlety of the show. Lol. It's a nice change.

And also let me say OMG. Because he said "I am glad you chose me. Thanks to you I am the happiest man of the world." The writers never forget and let us forget what kind of man he was and how he tried to be worthy of her love. He still remembers it too. This is just so heartwarming and makes me emotional. He is peaceful too when he is with her. Like this is not one-sided. She is also what he needs. He is proud of the man he became. His feelings for her makes his life more joyful and meaningful. So simply put but all these words weigh a lot.

Also knowing even the little things about your lover is not superficial. They have been always like this.

Remember this flashback...She even knows how he walks when he gets angry, Süsen can't even imagine the level of adoration these two has for each other.

If you love someone, you know what makes them happy, what posture they have when they get angry, what their tendency to do is when they are stressful... Because everything about them seems interesting to you and you kinda memorize every little detail without noticing, this becomes kinda second nature to you. Sometimes you don't even need to ask, you just learn it within the process.

For example you know if they are a morning person or not, they like cold weather or not, they prefer tea with sugar or not...

Some bits that I can't stay silent about...

I found this so funny. Doruk was not in the lab and the writers satisfied our curiosity about his whereabouts because it's so unrealistic and unusual that he wan't glued to Asiye at that moment. Like, this was the only occasion he could sit with her. Lololol.

I thought she wore a bunny costume then I remembered this is an Atv drama and a few second later they made it clear that it was an elephant. Weird.

I mean, was it really not a costume party? I thought he was cosplaying James Dean.

He lit up like a Christmas tree when he saw her.

Okay, if Nebahat had warned her out of concern (like there is blood between them.) I would have understood it. But she is like you two will end up breaking up because you guys live in different worlds. Meh. But the intersting thing is that she tried to explain how she and Doruk have a good relationship, how their dreams are compatible. Also the fact that her voice became unstable and shaky killed me, sometimes she can't understand how people can be this cruel... Even after all she has seen... I think she got upset immediately because Doruk is her soft point, even though he makes her stronger in other aspects, he also gave her a new weakness. He is the weakness.

I am gonna end this post with this view. The fact that he used stuffed animals to prevent the screen from tumbling down... This cute boy.

ok but can we talk about kaan atakul and how his dea*th afects me more than it should (?) because he wasn't a bad character, he wasn't a bad person either (even though he did questionable things at the begining lol) he's just another gray character, seeking the affection of a family who would never accept him.

In the show, he said two quotes that i think it defines his character best: one, to his father who is actually the villian of the story and doesn't loves him because he's the result of an affair with a former coworker "I will love you even if you're the worst person in the world" and two "if i hadn't had a cutter at that moment, I would have even throw myself out of the window" [after cutting his own hand with a cutter for it to be the focus of the attention and prevent his classmate to confess the truth about Kadir's deat*h that involves Kaan's father and step sister]. That means, he was eager to do this much to get his family affection (mostly his father because as he said, he grew up with an absent father).

idk if it was because eren wanted to leave the show or because the fate of this character was already decided that way but kaan being such an interesting and important character (he was one of the few people who knew the truth about kadir's accident) he didn't deserve that end, he deserved better. I feel like his story should have follow that path (healing his family ties) instead of that stupid doruk- asiye - kaan love triangle (?) it was a love triangle? It never seemed that to me as he never showed signs of him liking Asiye, i think he was just being empathic and a good friend without obscure intentions but anyway.

ep 46 seemed rushed to me, kaan finally (and out of nothing) got the affection he wanted but the way doruk "accepted him" seemed empty to me. If it wasn't for Tolga and Aybike's words, he would have never seen Kaan as his brother. doruk and akif were so ooc in this ep as if they had always loved him lmao. in past episodes, akif even beat my poor boi and throw him out of the house for god sake. I also didn't buy Doruk's excesive hugs, it were unnecessary and cringy in a way they only wanted to redeem Doruk attitude towards him before his dea*th.

but uff, anyway. i'll soon catch up with the last three episodes as soon as my kokoro is ready to watch my boi go *cries in turkish*

They've won the competition and Asiye can't stop smiling while Doruk can't stop looking at her!

At one point, they decide to take a selfie and it's like he can't stop himself from turning to her, mid picture, to witness her unbridled joy. This is also the moment the realisation of being in love with her dawns on him.

Doruk is dramatic and bold and doesn't much care about what people think which leads to him being a loud person, but right here, its such a quiet moment. He is silently watching her bask in the bliss of their win, letting her have all the glory just like he let her have most of the spotlight on the stage; he's making it all about her while he just sits there with the serene and long due realization that he's in love with her.

It doesn't seem to come as a shocker for him, more like a concept that was brewing in his subconscious for quite some time now and in this moment, he merely acknowledges it.

And he accepts his feelings so so easily; there's no big moment of sudden awareness or running away from his emotions. He just keeps sneaking glances at her while his brain supplies him with all the heart emojis in the world, his eyes shining with unadulterated affection.

PS: I love how happy Asiye is, like, there aren't many moments in her life where we see her so purely happy and it's like she can barely contain her giddiness.

I honestly wanted to see Nebahat&Asiye scenes, because they are two women Doruk cares about the most (I mean the show already acts like Melisa doesn't exist, so...) In a realistic perspective, I think it makes sense Nebahat still doesn't think highly of Asiye. This character has the most shallow personality ever in the show. Selfish, having no moral ground or self-esteem. That's why I understand the way she pointed Yasmin and Doruk to Asiye in order to make a point. This is so her.

But calling Doruk over for him to see Asiye cleaning...this is repetitive and kinda insulting our intelligence. Because she has known her son cleaned with her, worked for her and experienced a penniless life. So that took the pleasure of making any comment on this. Yeah, maybe it was necessesary for Asiye to go against Nebahat and show her that she and Doruk are happy together, I get it...however I really expected to see a different approach. They really didn't go hard about this.

Asiye: If we didn't meet, would you like Yasmin? Doruk: What nonsensical question is this?

There was one thing I could find interesting. So when Asiye saw Doruk and Yasmin together -she normally didn't find it weird before but Nebahat forced her to think of it- she asked him this question.

That's so human but stupidish. Because the question was really pointless and no sane -and in love- man would answer it. (in Kiralık Aşk, Ömer kinda answered it honestly and Defne went insane, if I don't remember wrong. Lol. This is not about honesty, this question doesn't make sense at all)

But after the last night's incident it's only normal for her to feel insecure. She is a realistic girl through and through. But her boyfriend is one determined and romantic boy, as if he could ever understand an alternate universe or realistic perspective. This boy is deeply and dramatically in love, a Prince Charming. He could jump straight out of this fairy tale book and fight against monsters or dragons at any moment. He is that perfect.

The interesting part is... It's like...if one day they end up parting ways, she might think he can move on. Because he can find someone compatible but she can't find someone thoughtful, kind and supportive like him.

You see, they are not typical high school lovers... He means a lot to her. He talked dramatically when they broke up, but Asiye knows he is such a drama queen so I don't think she is really aware of that he can't move on.

Asiye: Don't tell your mother about this. Doruk: I don't promise anything. Asiye: Doruk! Doruk: Sssshhh.

The communication. Lol. He doesn't lie to her, no, no, little lady, this is about his mom, how she crossed the boundaries, how she acted like a nosy-parker. I mean she started this, the fact that Asiye told everything to Doruk of course was necessesary for the boy to know who the monster is.

But Nebahat played low. Even Asiye couldn't stay silent about this in the end. Her first act was logical (Yasmin & Doruk) but her second act (cleaning conspiracy) doomed to fail.
