The "Do Something" Principle

Something that struck me in the book called “The Subtle Art of Not Giving A Fuck” is the “do something” principle. In nature, we think that we should feel motivated first before making an action. This has been a mundane feeling for the past few years. However, I ended up unproductive because I do not feel motivated at all. That is where the “do something” principle comes in. This principle entails that action develops inspiration, which further derives motivation. You do not have to feel motivated at first. You just have to do it and the rest will follow. This has profoundly changed my way of thinking now and is something I will be incorporating for 2023.
