suguru thinks he’s hard to love when he’s like this.

you often come to his room to find him in the same position he’s in right now — tucked into bed, eyes facing away from you and face illuminated only with but a few rays of sunlight that manage to break through the closed blinds of his bedroom window. you beg him to talk to you, to let you help but he’s always so quick to dismiss your worries, telling you that hes fine, it will pass. that he doesn’t wish to bother you with his burdens.

you slip into bed with him, kneeling next to his body on the matress, a small ceramic pot in your hands which he stares at with curiosity. “what is it?”

“a flower” you speak as gently as ever and he sits up with his legs crossed in front of you eyeing the flower bud which has yet to bloom that grows from amidst the soil on the red vase “take care of it for me will you?”

you extend it towards him as an gift which he holds in between the palms of his hands, looking at you with wide-eyes.

“open the blinds every once in a while so it can soak in the sunlight and water it everyday. nurture it and the love you give it will eventually blossom into something beautiful.” you brush the hair thats sticks to his forehead away from his face, pressing a kiss in the spot between his eyebrows. “maybe then you’ll understand that love has to be patient, suguru”

and you make it so easy for him to understand what you’re trying to tell him. it takes time to grow a flower, takes time for it to become something worth looking at. something worth admiring - loving. it’s a choice you have to make everyday - to wake up and tend to it, even when it is but an ugly sprout.

suguru thinks that he, too, with time and the warmth of your love to bask in, might heal.

As a person with a strong stellium I low-key envied people who have charts all-over the place, it's like looking to a beautiful multifaceted mirror. It makes you more flexible, charming even if the individual usually feels more lost and tends to go with the flow. But in some sense it makes you more "compatible" to others, they have a multiple view of points and can understand different people and their thoughts better. Meanwhile with a stellium, you have a more fixed view, like a tunnel vision, it's white or black. Though you acquire more will and confidence, you feel like a solid monolith and you become a solid monolith that everyone can count on in moments of crisis.
