Speakeasy Bar

The fourth and final part of the Willow Creek make overs is a speakeasy bar. It is large and spreads over two floors. there is a bar area, enough tables and bar tables, a stage for a jazz or blues band, a gallery and lots of comfortable armchairs. The outdoor area also invites you to linger in the summer. So that everything colorwiseh fits together I have created a small Recolor set which complements my existing Recolors. Next to the bar is a small tailor shop with a photo studio. Nearby there is an old movie theater with two theaters. In the middle of the tree-lined square there is a modern cafe.

Well, mostly -- while Victor and Alice fulfilled most of their date goals, I unfortunately wasn’t able to do the one about discussing their meals in full -- mostly because I accidentally had them end the “meal” part of their date before that goal could be completed. Whoops. But they still got a Silver date reward for it (the single red rose in its bud vase) and had a lovely time -- watching someone busk on the freezer bunny guitar in the back; sharing a warm embrace, some inside jokes, and some tickles; and taking a moment to swing, just like on their wedding date. :) It may have only been a Silver by the game’s standards, but it was a gold in my heart.

And then it was back home, and after a couple of minutes to get sorted (Alice fixing the downstairs toilet; Victor collecting his mail and finding that while the mask and bunny statue he found in Selvadorada were real, the skull was counterfeit), it was Smiler’s turn to ask Victor out on a date! It took me a minute to figure out where I wanted them to go, but I eventually settled on Del Sol Valley, and Orchid Pictures and Bar! This is a lot by Plumbella to replace the original Orchid A Go Go lounge -- the Gallery version has a bar downstairs, and three cinemas upstairs, and I believe is classed either as a Bar or a Cafe. As I wanted it to remain a Lounge-type lot, I ended up renovating the upstairs of my version to have one bigger movie theater, one “live entertainment” theater (as a lounge needs instruments and a microphone), and some bigger bathrooms using the Discover University bathroom stalls. Much like my own Ice Cream Conery, I hadn’t visited it since the renovation, so I figured now was the perfect time!

And -- things mostly went well! Victor and Smiler hung out on the first floor for a while, chatting to fulfill a few date goals, before moving over to the bar so Smiler could grab a Plasma Jane to help with their thirst. As usual, though, the moment they went into a more populated area, the random townies started randomly joining their conversation --

Which meant I didn’t quite catch it in time when Smiler’s Erratic meanness popped up, causing them to insult Victor. And causing Victor to gain a “Festering Grudge” sentiment. *grumbles* I had Smiler immediately apologize and then put the conversation on pause for a bit so I could figure out what to do next, but -- ugh. That’s always so frustrating. Damn Erratic trait!

Картинка 5. 6. Перестроила некоторые участки.

DIFFERENCES FROM THE CITY OF TARIYA 1. Swapped the cinema and the shopping center. Now their location is more concise in relation to other buildings. Picture 1. 2. Added hostel "Tenant". Picture 2. 3. Added an abandoned house on the cliff. Picture 3. 4. Added the house of the Ordones family. Picture 4. 5. Added hunting mod. If you buy a meadow and put it in a Sim's luggage, then when choosing to hunt for example a bird, the Sim will run to one of the stones. Circled in the picture are the places where the stones for hunting are placed. Picture 5. 6. Rebuilt some areas.

Modern Family Mansion VII

Contemporary luxury family mansion for your Sims. With this one, I tried to blend in a modern buid with lush tropical gardens. This build comes in 2 versions, one including CC and one without. Both have the exact same exterior (aside from a few doors), landscaping and floorplans, but are different when it comes to the interiors. The photos shown are from the CC version, the CC free version does have the same interior style.

Lower level : Guest/Butler studio (with it's own kitchen and bathroom), garage, workshop, gym/spa/pool/sauna/full bathroom, cinema, lounge area, wine room, utility room, 2 half baths and vault. It's possible to add more rooms on this level, a corridor has already been built.

Main level : Entry, main hallway, formal living room, dining room, kitchen + chef's kitchen, laundry, office and 2 half bathrooms. Access to the front balcony equipped with planters for gardening.

Upper level : family/games room, master suite (with a private bathroom, sitting area, walk-in closet and balcony), 4 bedrooms (all with a private bathroom, walk-in closet and balcony, some feature a pantry)

Garden : on mutiple levels. Comes with an outdoor kitchen, several seating areas, large pool, playground and hot tub.

Lot size : 64x64

Campbell Academy

Right, time for my confession. I did not come up with the floor plan or general design of the building. I usually suck at building and I don't like looking at official floorplans.

But I've recently discovered @anibats's Tumblr and YouTube channel, and her content is STUNNING. From the CC she uses to the machinima she makes, it's all so pretty!

I would highly recommend watching her The Vicious series she made - I won't lie, it made me bawl my eyes out, it was so tender and realistic.

I thrive off realism in both my series and playing the game itself. She opened my eyes to a few more mods and ways of playing a school without having to necessarily use Simlogical items.

And she also had some neat ideas for fixing crashing in game, and I must say, the fix that her partner did seems to be working in my game! 😀😘
